[Top 5] War Thunder Best Rank 1 Tank That Are Excellent

Rank 1 tanks.

Rank 1 tanks are obviously, not that good. They are from the WW2 era and some of the best ones are from Germany and the USSR. Let’s quickly analyze some of the best rank I tanks in the awesome world of War Thunder and come decide which one is the best!

5. Pz.III F

Welcome to Germoneh!

This tank has a beast cannon for some petty rank I tank, is capable of 1-shotting other tanks, and offers decent armor protection if angled correctly. It’s also fast and god dang, the depression on that gun is superb! Too bad the armor is kinda flat, which makes it almost impossible to bounce off of incoming shells.

Why this tank is awesome:

  • Decent armor protection
  • Powerful main cannon, can 1-shot other tanks
  • Excellent speed/mobility

4. T-28

Soviet machine.

Plenty of crew members can fit into this thing, which guarantees survivability. Decent speed and overall mobility add up to flanking and surprise attacks. Just like the previous tank, it is capable of 1-shotting other tanks thanks to its armor-piercing shells. Large and deadly tank!

Why this tank is awesome:

  • Capable of destroying tanks in 1 go
  • Shrapnel shells that can obliterate smaller ground targets
  • Alright mobility

3. M22

Yankee midget!

This tank's performance is best on flat terrains and in close combat due to its extremely low profile, which makes it hard for other tanks to successfully shoot you down. Excellent at turning and staying sneaky, a must-have for those who have balls and sinister intentions!

Why this tank is dope:

  • Pretty fast on flat terrains
  • Useful in close combat
  • Awesome turning

2. T-70

Another soviet tank!

A tank that only consists of two crewmen is pretty dangerous, that’s why it’s required to drive this tank carefully, don’t endanger yourself too much, and make sure not to get hit from the sides. The frontal armor is pretty strong and can withstand a lot of damage, another thing that makes this tank pretty survivable is the fact that it’s pretty small and it’s hard to hit. High-penetration cannon+a decent machine gun is all that you need in order to wreck other kids. Have fun!

Why this tank is awesome:

  • Strong frontal armor
  • Powerful machine guns and main cannon with high penetration potential
  • Small posture

1. Stuart III

Tea?

Stuart III is a rank I light tank, which means that it’s extremely mobile and oddly shaped, which makes it hard to hit. Shots at the front are usually not too much of a nuisance, especially from MGs or light cannons. Also, a crew of 4 is always nice, but this tank is built in such a way that if it gets hit at a vital point, it can wipe out the whole crew.

Why this tank is awesome:

  • Alright frontal armor, capable of bouncing off or taking straight-on shells and MG fire
  • Fun to play
  • Mobile
  • 4-man crew
