British people are known for their good teeth and obsession with tea. Wait, we are supposed to talk about the best British tanks in War Thunder? Very well, British tanks are kinda slow but covered in thick armor that can withstand plenty of punishment. Let’s start with:

5. Stuart

Another adorable tank!

Stuart is a surprisingly durable rank 1 tank, with strong front armor, it can take a pounding and sometimes reflect shells. For one of the beginner tanks, it’s also exceptionally fast. Decent weaponry and okay-ish turn rate at faster speeds. Awesome!

Why this tank is great:

• Decent firepower+penetration
• Decent armor in the front parts of the tank
• Faster than Keemstar

4. Achilles

Tanks don’t have heels!

This tank is decent at a few things, one of them is the excellent main weapon that’s great at destroying other enemy tanks. It has a crew of 5, excellent speed, and sloped armor that makes enemy shells ricochet. Although the reverse speed is kinda meh, you will still see plenty of success with this glorious tank!

Why this tank is awesome:

• Powerful weaponry
• Decent penetration
• .50 cal machine gun on top can fight off light aircraft/vehicles

3. Centurion Mk 3

Badass!

Why do British tanks always have to be heavy and powerful in terms of weapons? Only Winston Churchill knows, but what I know is that this goddamn hell of a tank can 1-shot everything it faces. Penetration can also knock out more crew members, reverse speed is okay and the general survivability of this tank is even more OKAY!

Why this tank is great:

• Superb gun angles
• Roof armor is quite resistant to fire from the aircraft
• 8.1 reload time

2. Vickers Mk.7

Vicker, baby!

With Vickers, you can either play as a sniper, which is basically a tank that shoots from long ranges or a flanker - due to the impressive speed of this tank, you can out-pace other enemy tanks, engage in “hit and run” tactics and comfortably move behind enemy lines, scoring a hit and there. Dope tank!

Why this tank is great:

• Precise main gun
• High mobility(forward speed can reach up to even 80 km/h)
• Decent top armor

1. Challenger 2

Oh my..

A very accurate tank that can be played as a sniper but also as a more supportive tank due to its smoke grenades, smoke shells, and ESS. Despite these pros, it still counts as a combat tank. The armor is thick, can withstand a lot of punishment and the main gun has excellent reload time. What more can you ask for? 

Why this tank is the best:

• Powerful/accurate main cannon
• 35 km/h reverse speed
• Supportive abilities, such as smoke shells, etc
• Plenty of useful modifications that can be unlocked
