final fantasy xiv, best mmorpg 2021, best mmo 2021, best utility, best utility classes
Final Fantasy XIV is one of the best MMORPGs right now.

Battle Jobs are clearly an important part of Final Fantasy XIV, as the majority of the content focuses on battle and player teamwork.

While FFXIV clearly distinguishes three different roles, each of which serves a different purpose, such as tanks, healers, and DPS, each job differs greatly from the others, with many unique skills that only each battle job possesses.

Buffs and boosts become very important in endgame raiding, whether it is in Extreme Trials, Savage Raids, or especially in Ultimate Raids, to complete dungeons faster or clear high-end dungeons with high DPS requirements.

While players can use external buffs like foods and potions to boost their status and allow them to deal more damage and tank more hits, several battle jobs also serve as utilities to boost the group's stats in addition to doing their main job, which is either tanking, healing, or DPSing.

This article will rank seven of the best battle jobs that, aside from their main job of tanking, DPS, or healing, provide the most utility to a group of players.

7. Reaper

A Reaper, the one who reaps the souls of their fallen enemies.

Reaper is the most recent battle job introduced in FFXIV's most recent expansion, Endwalker. They use the power of darkness to harm their enemies.

  • Reaper, on top of dealing a massive amount of damage to the enemies as a Melee DPS, they can also support their allies with their skills and abilities.
  • Arcane Crest will grant a barrier to the reaper, helping them to absorb some damage. After the barrier is broken, it will grant Crest of time to all party members, which will give a regen to all party members with a 50 cure potency for 15 seconds.
  • Arcane Circle is a Reaper’s buff that will increase the damage dealt by all party members by 3% for 20 seconds.
  • Arcane Circle will also grant the reaper accumulate stacks of Immortal Sacrifice with each party member’s attack that landed successfully under the effect of the buff, allowing the Reaper to deal more damage with new skills thanks to Immortal Sacrifice.

Since the A Realm Reborn era, Ninja has been one of the three available Melee DPS in the game, beginning as a Rogue in Limsa Lominsa.

  • Army's Paeon increases the direct hit rate by 3% for the whole party.

1. Astrologian

Astrologian is one of the best healers that can also utilize their cards to heal and support their allies.

With their card system and buffs, Astrologian is one of the best healers in the game, as well as one of the most complicated. It can, however, feel very rewarding to play and grant a variety of utilities and buffs to their party members, not just pure heals.

Why Astrologian is one of the best Utility Class:

  • Astrologian’s card system will help buff the party member’s damage based on who the Astrologian gives the Card to.
