That’s right, even with Kali’s very powerful CSRX 300, Glaz is still the best sniper in Siege because his OTs-03 marksman rifle, while having less damage, is a lot more versatile. It has a thermal sight which allows the Glaz player to see enemies through smoke or Sens’ R.O.U. Projector Systems. It also allows the Glaz player to quickly differentiate an enemy from all the objects and backdrops in the maps. And going back to versatility, Glaz has a wide variety of weapon attachments, secondary weapons, and utilities that he can use to his advantage and customize according to a particular situation.

 

5. OTs-03 with Red Dot A, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + Bearing 9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider + Frag Grenade

This loadout setup is for players who prefer inflicting the most damage that they could and love playing aggressively. But pure offense loadout doesn’t lack versatility, because even though the frag grenades are mostly used for scoring kills, Glaz can also use it to flush out an enemy that he knows is hiding in a corner. He just simply needs to throw the frag grenade towards that enemy’s direction and more often than not, the enemy will run away and expose himself. So, even though this setup is for playing aggressively, it can be used tactically as well.

And since the muzzle brake and vertical grip are both present on the OTs-03 marksman rifle in this setup, it’ll also be very effective at close range when the user switches to the gun’s 1.0x sight. That’s because each shot will have a very low recoil so it’ll be easy to line up the next right after another. It’ll even be effective at scoring kills with hip fire when the enemy suddenly appears at close distances. And when the OTs-03 marksman rifle needs to reload while in the middle of a gunfight, switching to the Bearing 9 will be a great way to finish off your opponent.

Excels in:

  • Being able to flush enemies out or outright kill them due to the two frag grenades in Glaz’s arsenal
  • Having a secondary weapon that is highly effective and deadly at close range in the Bearing 9 machine pistol
  • Great recoil control on the OTs-03 marksman rifle due to the muzzle brake barrel attachment
  • Having pinpoint accuracy on the OTs-03 at close range with the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
  • Providing the user with the ability to further hold down the OTs-03's recoil due to the vertical grip attachment

4. OTs-03 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Smoke Grenade

This loadout is a classic one and is the setup I always used before the addition of the Gonne-6, Bearing 9, and claymores to Glaz’s arsenal. And while this might be an old school setup, it’s still a very solid one. That’s because with the suppressed OTs-03 marksman rifle, the defenders won’t immediately know that there’s a Glaz on the attacker side through your gunshot sounds. Of course, it would also be very hard for them to know your exact location from the sound cues of your gunshots. On top of that, your gunshots won’t be providing them with a directional threat indicator, so they won’t immediately know where you’re shooting them from, especially at long-range.

The OTs-03 in this setup would also not produce any muzzle flash when shooting and that further decreases the chances of enemies seeing you through that particular visual cue. As for your secondary weapon, the PMM is one of the best pistols in the game because of its heavy damage per shot and its very manageable recoil. The muzzle brake will make its recoil control even better, and when partnered up with a laser, its hip fire will be tighter. That means you’ll be able to hit enemies with it at close range even without having to go into an aim-down-sights stance.

Excels in:

  • Strafing enemies without providing them a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from
  • Red Dot A 1.0x sight on the OTs-03 will provide Glaz with great accuracy on the OTs-03 for close quarters combat
  • Removal of the muzzle flash due to the suppressor will make it harder for enemies to see where you’re shooting them from
  • Reduction of gunshot sounds from the suppressor will make it much harder for enemies to know your whereabouts
  • Providing the user with an easy to control secondary weapon in the PMM handgun
  • Providing smoke cover for the OTs-03's thermal sight and for the whole attacking team’s push

3. OTs-03 with Red Dot A, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Smoke Grenade

This is the best loadout for Glaz players who prefer to always have the best recoil they could have when using Glaz’s OTs-03 marksman rifle. That’s because the muzzle brake barrel attachment will greatly lower its vertical recoil and the vertical grip will allow the user to have more recoil control. With this attachment setup for the OTs-03, shooting it will be very stable and you can fire it in rapid succession without getting a lot of weapon kick. It will also be great for providing cover to your teammates and serve as a distraction to enemies due to the OTs-03's loud gunshots.

Even though your shots with this loadout will provide enemies with a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from, it’ll of course still be hard for them to pinpoint your location if you’re shooting them through smoke which the two smoke grenades in your arsenal will provide. With this loadout, you’ll also have the ability to destroy one bulletproof gadget that can give the whole attacking team a lot of trouble like a Maestro Evil Eye, Melusi Banshee, bulletproof camera, or a deployable shield.

Excels in:

  • Great recoil control on the OTs-03 due to the muzzle brake which greatly lowers the recoil of single-shot firing weapons
  • Further lowering the recoil of the OTs-03 due to the vertical grip working hand in hand with the muzzle brake to bring down the weapon’s recoil
  • Ability to destroy one pesky bulletproof defender gadget or an unreinforced hatch
  • Two smoke grenades providing cover for Glaz and his teammates and works perfectly with the OTs-03's thermal sight
  • Red Dot A 1.0x sight on the OTs-03 will allow the user to target enemies well at close range when he switches to it

2. OTs-03 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Bearing 9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider + Claymore

One of the best things to ever happen to Glaz is the addition of the Bearing 9 to his arsenal. That’s because one of the biggest drawbacks to using Glaz is that he’s not that great in close quarters combat. However, that weakness is almost gone now because of the Bearing 9. The Bearing 9 machine pistol’s very fast rate of fire, good amount of damage per shot, decent magazine capacity, and best of all, its manageable recoil, makes it one of the best machine pistols in the game and is perfect for taking out enemies at close quarters.

This loadout is also quite balanced because it’s also great for sniping while rappelling beside a window. That’s because through the two claymores in your arsenal, you will be able to protect yourself from opponents that will kill you through run outs. So, with this loadout setup, you’ll be able to concentrate on sniping enemies inside the objective spot. And as discussed above, once you need to enter and engage enemies at close range, you can switch to the Bearing 9 machine pistol and you’ll have a fully automatic weapon that can quickly take enemies out.

Excels in:

  • Being able to shoot enemies without providing them a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from
  • Shooting enemies without the OTs-03 producing a muzzle flash, therefore, lessening the chances of enemies seeing you through it.
  • Greatly dampens the weapon’s gunshot sounds, making it harder for enemies to locate you through them.
  • Being able to take enemies down quickly at close range due to the Bearing 9 machine pistol
  • Being able to counter run outs and flankers while you’re sniping due to the two claymores in Glaz’s arsenal

1. OTs-03 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Smoke Grenade

This is the best loadout setup for Glaz because it provides him with the best balance. The suppressor on the OTs-03 will allow him to shoot enemies without them getting a directional threat indicator of where the shots are coming from, and that’s extremely useful for long range shooting as well as strafing enemies through the smoke. That way, especially when they haven’t scanned you, they won’t immediately know that there’s a Glaz and that they should avoid the smoke cover or Sens’ R.O.U. Projector Systems.

The Gonne-6 hand cannon as your generic gadget will allow you to destroy one bulletproof defender gadget and you’d want to use that on a Maestro Evil Eye or a bulletproof camera. That’s because those gadgets are very effective at countering defuser plant attempts behind the cover of smoke or Sens’ R.O.U. Projector Systems. If those gadgets aren’t present, you could use the gonne-6 hand cannon to destroy a deployable shield that defenders could use to hold your team’s advance.

  • Ability to provide cover for you and your whole team due to the smoke grenades in Glaz’s arsenal
