[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Melusi Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Melusi Loadouts in R6 Siege
The top five loadouts when playing one of the best crowd-control operators in Rainbow Six Siege

Melusi is definitely one of the most troublesome defenders in the game, mainly due to the fact that her special gadgets, the Banshee Sonic Defense, remain bulletproof when they’re not active, and she has three of them. They will only be active when an attacker goes within its area-of-effect, but doing so will greatly slow him down and the Banshee will produce a distinct sound that will alert the defenders. This makes Melusi’s Banshees one of the peskiest utilities in the game, and she also has an arsenal of weapons and utilities that she can use to act on the intel that her Banshees gather.

5. MP5 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Bulletproof Camera

I recommend this loadout setup when there are also others in your team that can create rotation holes. That is because instead of impact grenades, you’ll be running with the bulletproof camera in this loadout. The bulletproof camera is also a great utility for Melusi, especially when partnered with her Banshees. The Banshees can greatly slow enemies down and also act as early warning devices due to the distinct sound that they make when they’re slowing down enemies. And with the bulletproof camera, Melusi will also have visuals on the enemies that are being slowed.

With this combo of intel, Melusi will be able to effectively engage the enemies that are being slowed by her Banshee and pre-fire them. The Melusi player can even put a Banshee near the bulletproof camera to protect it from being destroyed with a melee attack. And when an attacker attempts to destroy it with melee, Melusi will definitely know and she will be able to act on it.

Excels in:

  • Intel gathering due to the bulletproof camera in Melusi’s arsenal
  • Great utility combo with the bulletproof camera and Melusi’s Banshee
  • The Suppressor on the MP5 will allow Melusi to shoot at her opponents without giving away her position
  • The Suppressor on the MP5 will also allow Melusi to shoot her opponents or gadgets more silently
  • The MP5 with a suppressor will not produce any muzzle flash, which will reduce the visual cues your enemies can react to.
  • The Vertical Grip on the MP5 will further lower down its stock recoil, making it even more stable.
  • The RG-15 handgun will have a very stable recoil due to the muzzle brake
  • Tight hip fire on the RG-15 handgun because of the laser

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - MP5 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Bulletproof Camera

4. Super 90 with Reflex B + RG15 with Suppressor + Impact Grenade + Bulletproof Camera

The loadout for shotgun masters, and not just those who are proficient in using shotguns, this loadout is great for those who are effective with the RG15 handgun as well. Using the Super 90 shotgun despite its very limited range is a viable option for Melusi players, not just because the Super 90 is very powerful at close range but also because the RG15 is a really powerful handgun which can be used as a primary, especially for medium to long range shooting. That’s because the RG15 doesn’t have a strong recoil even without a muzzle brake and it has the Romeo1 reflex sight which is great for accuracy.

The Romeo1 reflex sight on the RG15 is basically a red dot sight and because of its very simple center dot reticle, the user will be able to target opponents at medium to long range really well. And because you can use the Super 90 shotgun for reworking the map – creating rotation holes and lines of sight, you don’t have to go with the impact grenades in this loadout. Instead, you can run with the bulletproof camera which will provide more intel for you and your whole team and cause a lot of trouble for your enemies.

Excels in:

  • Close range superiority due to the Super 90 shotgun’s CQB damage
  • User will be able to rework the map further using the Super 90 shotgun
  • Melusi will have more intel gathering capabilities because of the bulletproof camera
  • The suppressor on the RG15 will allow Melusi to shoot enemies without giving away her position
  • The Romeo1 reflex sight on the RG15 will provide Melusi with pinpoint accuracy
  • Because of the suppressor, Melusi’s RG15 won’t produce any muzzle flash.
  • Melusi’s RG15 in this loadout also wouldn’t provide enemies with a directional threat indicator

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Super 90 with Reflex B
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
  • Generic gadget - Bulletproof Camera

3. MP5 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + RG15 with Suppressor + Impact Grenade

This loadout is for players who like playing Melusi aggressively, and of course, when playing aggressively, it’s important to be able to aim at your enemies faster. The angled grip on the MP5 will allow the user to do just that – go into aim-down-sights stance faster. The only drawback with using the angled grip is that unlike its vertical counterpart, it doesn’t provide the user with any recoil control benefits. But that’s where the flash hider comes in. The flash hider will be the attachment in this loadout that will provide the user with more recoil control in order to balance things out.

The great thing about the flash hider is it doesn’t just lower the weapon’s vertical recoil, it also hides its muzzle flash, and that will reduce the visual cues that your opponents could react to when targeting you back. The RG15 handgun doesn’t have a strong recoil so it’s completely viable to use it with a suppressor, and the suppressor will help you a lot when you’re roaming with Melusi because with a suppressed RG15, you’ll be able to shoot attacker drones or claymores lying around the map without alerting the attackers.

Excels in:

  • User will be able to go into aim-down-sights quicker because of the angled grip
  • The MP5’s recoil will still be easy to control because of the flash hider
  • User will be able to rework the map and create rotation holes using the impact grenade
  • Silenced RG15 handgun will allow the user to shoot enemies or attacker gadgets without giving away position
  • The Suppressed RG15 is great for shooting opponents at long range because of its Romeo1 reflex sight
  • The suppressor on the RG15 will also hide the weapon’s directional threat indicator

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - MP5 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

2. MP5 with Red Dot A, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Suppressor + Impact Grenade

This loadout focuses more on inflicting as much damage as you can on your enemies and that’s possible because of the extended barrel on the MP5. Weapon damage in Siege becomes lower as their bullets travel through longer distances, it’s called damage drop-off. But with the extended barrel, that damage drop-off will be greatly lowered, and that means you’ll be able to inflict high damage to your enemies even when you’re shooting them from long range. But like the suppressor, the extended barrel doesn’t provide any additional recoil control benefits.

That’s alright though, because the MP5’s stock recoil is very manageable. Even with the recent recoil progression overhaul that was aimed to make it harder to control the recoil of longer sprays, the vertical grip should be enough to let the user handle the MP5’s recoil really well. And since your primary weapon for this loadout isn’t suppressed, it’s highly recommended to partner it with a suppressed RG15. That way, you’ll be able to shoot enemy gadgets like drones or claymores without alerting your enemies, and this is very important when Melusi is roaming.

Excels in:

  • User will be inflicting more damage than usual because of the extended barrel
  • The vertical grip on the MP5 will keep its recoil stable even without a recoil-benefit providing barrel attachment
  • User will be able to create rotation holes and sudden flanking spots because of the impact grenades
  • The suppressed RG15 will allow the user to shoot attacker drones or claymores silently while roaming
  • The suppressed RG15 will also allow the user to shoot enemies without easily giving away his position

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - MP5 with Red Dot A, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

1. MP5 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Impact Grenade

The best thing about the rework on the suppressor that removed its damage penalty on weapons is that it’s now left with only one drawback, and that’s it not having any additional recoil control benefits. So, when attached to guns like the MP5 which doesn’t have a strong recoil to begin with, that one drawback from the suppressor won’t really be felt by the user. And that’s why the suppressor is the best barrel attachment for the MP5, especially when partnered with a vertical grip. That way, the user will only enjoy the great benefits of using the suppressor.

With the suppressor on your MP5, your shots will not provide enemies with a directional threat indicator telling them where you’re shooting from. It will also hide the weapon’s muzzle flash, and that will reduce the visual cues your enemies could react to. And of course, it will greatly dampen the weapon’s gunshot sounds. The RG15 in this loadout doesn’t need to be suppressed anymore because you’ll be able to shoot with the MP5 without giving away your position, so with the RG15 you can enjoy the recoil benefits from the suppressor as well as the tight hip fire from the laser.

Excels in:

  • Shooting enemies with the MP5 without giving away your position because the suppressor will hide its directional threat indicator
  • Suppressor on the MP5 will also hide its muzzle flash and greatly silence its gunshots
  • RG15 will have a much more controllable recoil with the muzzle brake
  • The laser on the RG15 will tighten its hip fire, making it even more effective at close range.
  • The player will be able to rework the map to his team’s advantage because of the impact grenades

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - MP5 with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade
