[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Hard Breachers That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Rainbow 6 Siege Hard Breachers That Are Excellent
Thermite getting ready to open up some huge effin’ holes

5. Fuze

Fuze may not be the first operator that comes to mind when the term ‘hard breacher’ is brought up, but having two hard breach charges that can open up holes on reinforced walls big enough for Fuze and his teammates to enter without having to crouch or vault, pretty much makes him a hard breacher. Plus, his Cluster Charges can make murder holes on reinforced walls. What’s great is that he can use his hard breach charges to open up reinforced hatches, and then use his Cluster Charge to direct enemy movement towards the breached hatch. Making them vulnerable to Fuze or his teammates gunfire.

Excels in:

  • Gadget destruction
  • Providing distraction
  • Flushing out enemies
  • Pushing

4. Maverick

Maverick is not the typical hard breacher that can open up huge entry holes through reinforced walls, but he’s definitely one of the most dangerous hard breachers in the game because he can use his Breaching Torch to create murder holes or lines on reinforced walls. With that, he can use those holes to expose enemies from the other side, or for throwing over his frag grenades. This can also help other hard breachers because Maverick, through this tactic can disable enemy gadgets that prevent hard breaching gadgets such as Thermite’s, Ace’s, or Hibana’s.

Excels in:

  • Gadget disabling
  • Hard breach
  • Backline support

3. Hibana

The great thing about Hibana is that she can separate her breach charges, the X-Kairos, into three parts. Which means, if there are three reinforced hatches, she can open up all three of them. And when she chooses to create an entry point big enough so that she and her teammates won’t need to crouch or vault, she can do that as well. Her X-Kairos are so versatile that she can also use them simply for creating a good line of sight through reinforced walls, making enemies vulnerable to her and her teammates’ gunfire. And that is why Hibana is such a good backline support.

Excels in:

  • Backline support
  • Breaching reinforced hatches

2. Ace

Like Hibana, Ace can deploy his breach charges from a distance, and each three of them can open up huge holes through reinforced walls, almost as big as the holes that Thermite’s breach charges can create. This makes Ace such an effective hard breacher because three huge entry holes can really make defending an area very hard. Plus, Ace can reserve one or two of his charges for a vertical breach. In that regard, he’s basically a hybrid of Hibana and Thermite.

Excels in:

  • Creating entry points
  • Distracting enemies
  • Long range support

1. Thermite

Now you might ask, if Ace can open up three big holes that are almost as big as what Thermite can do and he can deploy his breach charges from a distance, why is Thermite #1? Well, that is because the entry holes that Thermite creates are always perfect. Whenever Thermite creates a horizontal breach, it is sure that he and his teammates won’t need to vault or crouch in order to enter them. Plus, his Exothermic Charges are powerful enough to still destroy a reinforced hatch even when it’s protected by Kaid’s Rtilla. To do that, all Thermite has to do is to deploy his Exothermic Charge on a wooden surface right beside the reinforced hatch and detonate it. All of that makes the OG hard breacher still the best.

Excels in:

  • Hard breaching
  • Entry fragging
  • Backline support
