Don’t let the warm gentle face deceive you. This woman is just as intense as Cav. Probably the best counter for her too. Her trax stingers stop roamers on their tracks. There’s really no getting past them without making some sound. And that means alerting the attacking team that there’s a roaming defender attempting to flank. And while Gridlock covers her and her teammates’ backs through her primary gadget. Her arsenal of weapons takes care of the frontal assault.

The F90's recoil pattern doesn’t go on a straight vertical line, but it’s pretty compact and low. And with the compensator and vertical grip, it’s going to be much easier to control. Giving you more accuracy for each of your shots. And with the 2.5x scope providing a really good view for you to see your targets more clearly, it’s a guarantee that you’ll be making a lot of kills.

Being the only attacking operator with 3-armor rating without the option to use a shield, it is only appropriate that Gridlock comes equipped with heavy fire arms. And the M249 SAW is just perfect for this very imposing operator. The M249 SAW is a high damage, low recoil, and high bullet capacity light machine gun. With this loadout, you can keep providing cover fire for your teammates while the trax stingers defend your backs from roamers and flankers.

3. F90 with 2.5x Scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Super Shorty with Laser + Smoke Grenades

Smoke grenades + Trax stingers = Panic

Let’s face it, Gridlock is a noisy operator. Deploying her trax stingers creates a lot of noise. And noise just really comes naturally to a 3-armor 1-speed operator. So, a suppressor may look out of place. But just because it may look or feel out of place doesn’t mean it won’t be effective. Partnered with a 2.5x scope and a vertical grip, the F90 with a suppressor will do wonders. With it, you can keep fragging your enemies without alerting them to your whereabouts because it will make the gun produce little to no sound when firing, hide the muzzle flash, and eliminate the directional threat indicator from your shots.

Another benefit of the suppressor that is seldom talked about is that it helps maintain situational awareness for you while you’re shooting. Without a lot of noise for example, you’ll be able to notice when a roamer is attempting to get through your trax stingers by shooting them with a suppressed gun.

2. M249 SAW with 2.5x Scope, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + Super Shorty with Laser + Smoke Grenades

With this, you’ll make some oppressive noise against your enemies.

This loadout embraces the noisy and destructive nature of Gridlock. We already talked about how the M249 SAW is a high-powered, low-recoil, high bullet capacity light machine gun. But with this loadout, you’ll make its recoil even more compact. Compensators give the best recoil benefit for long sustained fire, so with this, you’ll be able to keep firing at enemy positions with deadly accuracy.

Smoke grenades are an integral part of Gridlock. She is a master of denying area to her enemies, therefore making her a valuable part of the team when it comes to defusing in bomb mode. Pop your smoke grenades to cover your teammate planting the defuser, and deploy your trax stingers on areas where the defenders can run up to your planting teammates. This is a simple but fearsome tactic for planting and is almost unstoppable.

1. F90 with 2.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Super Shorty with Laser + Smoke Grenades

Super shorty isn’t a representation of Mozie. Right?

With the F90’s inherent low recoil, attaching a vertical grip, partnered with a flash hider and a 2.5x scope is going to make it even more lethal. The flash hider specializes in holding down small burst shots while hiding the muzzle flash as well. That means your enemies won’t notice right away where the shots are coming from, and that will also clear your view while shooting. With a clearer view without the muzzle flash, the 2.5x scope will provide you with great accuracy. 

As you’ve probably noticed, this author prefers the super shorty shotgun over the alternative secondary weapon which is the Gonne-6. While the Gonne-6 can destroy almost any defender gadget, it only fires one shot and that’s it. So, the super shorty is just more useful in general, because with it, you can destroy hatches and create entry holes multiple times.
