Known for being the most efficient peace-givers in places such as the middle east. You may not like their government but for sure as hell, you’re going to love their tanks. They are balanced in all things, except armaments - they’re OP!

Tier 1

The best tank: M3A1 Stuart (USMC)

This little guy is capable of destroying medium-armored tanks in 1 hit, although there are also heavily-armored tanks that got their asses kicked on the battlefield. Decent speed and turn rate for a T1 tank but you should not go full Rambo with this guy - armor simply won’t allow too much punishment.

The second-best tank: Light Tank M2A4

This midget might seem not very intimidating but it can still surprise you with a few well-placed shots and put you in a grave. Besides, it’s equipped with a .30 CAL machine gun on the top that can fend off or even destroy enemy aircraft. It’s also fast and relatively easy to play!

Tier 2

The best tank: M24

Fast and agile, capable of inflicting serious amounts of damage and immobilizing enemy tanks. Although some players might complain about its lackluster armor, you can still appreciate this tank for having 13 smoke grenades that you can deploy at any given time to escape from crappy situations - this can also save your teammates’ lives. If you’re gonna engage in close-quarter combat, take cover often!

The second-best tank: T18E2

Well, this tank looks ridiculous. But it’s useful, it’s known for having a quick-firing main cannon and wheels instead of tracks, which means that you’re gonna achieve high speeds on paved roads. Again, this feller has plenty of smoke grenades deployed from a mortar - in summary, this is a useful support tank.

Tier 3

The best tank: M4A3E2

Also known as Jumbo. Mr. Jumbo is known for having pretty decent armor all around, the main cannon ain’t too bad, it’s capable of dealing plenty of damage but the point of this tank is to provide cover for your allies that have weaker tanks and lead assaults. Decent speed both on-road and off-road!

The second-best tank: T34 Calliope

You know, why not? It looks like a tank but it also has the whole artillery installed on top of it, how badass is that? Anyways, this feller is capable of dealing a duckton of damage to his unfortunate enemies - the 75mm gun can be crippling and the salvo of rockets can cause serious havoc and panic amongst enemies, blinding/immobilizing them, in the best-case scenario even destroying them.

Tier 4

The best tank: T92

This tank is not known for its armor but hard-hitting main cannon that can easily destroy other tanks, sometimes even from Tier 5. Generally, you want to play this tank far from intense situations, it’s pretty low profile and you should keep it that way.

The second-best tank: M6A2E1

Other tanks used to laugh at the shape of this tank, calling it “undeveloped” and such, and now look where he is… One of the most unique features of this tank is the reverse gearbox, which allows the tank to go at the same speed backward as forwards. This feature and your decent armor greatly increase your chances of survival in combat. The main cannon is extremely strong and the .50CAL mounted on top can easily fend off other planes.

Tier 5

The best tank: Magach 3

A pretty tank that’s sometimes played in the sniper role, assuming that you’re gonna fall in love with this little guy and upgrade its cannon to be effective at long ranges. Getting shot from the sides can be painful, although the front of the tank is extremely hard to penetrate. It’s rather mobile and has a great turn rate, which allows for quick relocation!

The second-best tank: M50 

This is one of the most bizarre-looking tanks out there. It’s equipped with x6 106mm cannons - I don’t think I need to tell you what will happen to your opponents if you manage to hit them once or twice. If you’re in serious trouble, you can fire them rapidly and just overkill everything it faces. Although it has OP armaments, the armor is kinda wack - play with your durable teammates and make sure you support one another!

Tier 6

The best tank: M1 Abrams

I think that everyone knows this tank, it has been used in various armed conflicts, especially in the middle east. When it comes to War Thunder, this guy is known for having superb mobility, capable of reaching around 80 KM/H, which is a lot for a heavy tank. You should feel free to use this tank in close combat but can also be played as a sniper from afar, thanks to its powerful and accurate main cannon. Overall, it’s a cool and historical tank!

The second-best tank: XM-1

A tank with decent mobility but also a turret with a decent rotation speed. If you thought to yourself whether this tank has a machine gun on top, don’t worry, he has around 3 of them. This makes it a pain in the ass for aviation to target you, without getting shredded to bits. Fun and basic tank!

Tier 7

The best tank: M1A2

This tank has a pretty hard-to-penetrate front and thermal sights, which allow you to easily scout out enemies and target them. HEATFS shells can be used to destroy flying targets, such as helicopters or planes. Thanks to the thermal sights, it can be played as a sniper but it can also be played as a charge leader in urban environments. Probably the best there is, although some could disagree with me!

The second-best tank: M1128

This guy on the other hand has slat armor, which is supposed to protect you from RPGs. Good thing there are no RPGs in War Thunder… In any case, this feller is equipped with pretty strong armaments and an OK reload speed that’s not affected by the crew’s condition. Lastly, it has plenty of smoke grenades that can be used to save your teammates. Awesome support tank!
