10. Climatizer

Climatizer is one of the most out-there drops on World’s Edge, but because of that, it's one of the best. Not as many people land here as other locations on the map, but when they do it's gonna be one hell of a fight. 

The gondolas in the middle of the location make for great entry points and ways to get out of a fight. Loot here is never going to be a problem as there are loads of pills and great floor loot.

What Makes Climatizer So Great:

• Great loot for early game
• Has some fantastic rotations into Epicentre and Fragment
• Fantastic for the current s17 Ranked season as it's far away from highly populated areas

9. Skyhook

Skyhook is the next location on today’s list and it's one hell of a drop location. This place is massive, so even if a few squads land here, you should have more than enough time to grab a gun and get fighting. There is now a vault nearby so that makes things way easier to gear up and get into fights. 

Because of how large Skyhook is, it's easy to escape from fights and just get to cover in general. It's fantastic for any player, and worth landing on.

What Makes Skyhook So Great:

• Fantastic loot for the early game thanks to the vault
• Great rotations on either side because of the balloons
• Fantastic for fighting early thanks to the abundance of space and buildings.

8. Trials

For some, Trials should be higher on this list, but honestly, it's not all that great compared to other areas. The loot is the best part of this location. If you land here, land in the middle to fight prowlers and get progressively better loot. From purple armour to golden bags and helmets, this place is insane for early-game loot. 

It's one of the best locations in professional play because of this. The thing is, the rotations out of here are not the best and it's kinda out there. If you want a bunch of loot and to treat Apex like its Borderlands, then land here.

What Makes Trials So Great:

• Some insane loot for early and late game
• Easy access to purple armour 90% of the time
• Can be worth dropping early but maybe not rotating into thanks to its small corridors and easy gank spots.
• Watch out for third parties here as well as it's easy to get into.

7. Countdown

This is where many people land every apex game for a few reasons. One of the biggest is of course loot. Landing here almost guarantees purple armour and a good bag thanks to the loot system in the middle of the POI. Press one of the buttons on either side of the area to access a secret floor area down in the middle. 

Here you can get some great loot and guns. Around the area are many loot pills and usually crafting to get looted quickly. The rotations out of here are insane as well as you have access to most of the map, even Monument and Fragment can be accessed with an Evac or the nearby balloon.

• Some insane loot for early and late game
• Easy access to purple armour 90% of the time
• Great rotations into some of the best parts of World's Edge

6. The Geyser

The next area on World's Edge to land has to be Geyser, this area is sick. Despite being kinda out there on the map, Geyser has some of the best rotations in Apex as a hole. First of all the loot here is fantastic, has a vault nearby and usually has crafting. 

Next, you can rotate into Big Maude, which we will get into later on in the list. Just know it's a great area for some insane guns. You can also easily access fragment from here thanks to the geyser in the middle that acts like a mini balloon. It's so freaking good

What Makes The Geyser So Great:

• Easy access to some of the best locations on the Map
• Has some pretty great loot thanks to the nearby vault
• Has crafting most of the time for easy loot access
• Finally, it has ways of escape thanks to the geyser if a team pushes you.

5. Stacks

Now into the top five, isn't this exciting? This next one is a movement player’s dream, well, ever since s17 that is. In season 17, they moved the famed streamer movement building out of fragment and instead placed it in Stacks. This made stacks the movement area for the game rather than in the highly populated Fragment. 

Stacks instantly became a great spot for these people to land in and it also got some good loot. Fighting here at any part of the game is super fun, and you are also rewarded by the nearby vault if you clear everything and get a key.

• Easy access to some of the best locations on the Map
• Has some pretty great loot thanks to the nearby vault
• Has crafting most of the time for easy loot access

4. Thermal Station

This one might seem weird, but just hear me out. Thermal Station is an incredibly underrated location on the World’s Edge map, but it has some insane loot and rotational potential. Land here and have a fast-paced fight thanks to the open areas in it. Then loot up the many Pills in the area and take the zips up the mountain. 

Here you will find even more loot and some great houses for protection. From here you can rotate into so many areas thanks to the nearby balloons and great POIs. Thermal Station is great for a well-flowing game full of action and insane loot. Land here for a great game.

What Makes Thermal Station So Great:

• Easy access to some of the best locations on the Map
• Has crafting most of the time for easy loot access
• Great early game fighting potential thanks to the open nature of the POI.
• Great for ratting as well thanks to the lava areas nearby.

3. Fragment

Now into the top 3, and oh was this hard to rank. Fragment takes the third spot because of the changes in season 17. Fragment was once split in two, but is now just on the side of what it once was. The iconic streamer building is still there, with some changes and the overall flow of it hasn't changed much. 

The problem is that the other side of Fragment was way better, and that is now Monument. That of course does not detract from the insane early-game fight potential of this POI and the great loot you can acquire. It's even good for rotations as it's in the middle of the map. It might not be as good as before, but god damn is it still one of the best locations on World's Edge.

• Easy access to some of the best locations on the Map
• Has crafting most of the time for easy loot access
• Insane for early-game fights thanks to the close-quarters buildings, movement areas and open spaces.
• Great for rotating into other areas of the map to fight thanks to it being so central.

2. Monument

Monument, the new fragment is our second-best spot to land on World’s Edge, and damn is it insane. Of course, this is the newest place on the map so people landing here is a given. Right now, that makes it one of the most hectic areas in the game, but its value doesn't end there.

Even if you just want fights, getting loot is still a priority, and Monument has it. From the underground Apex Museum to the many buildings in the surrounding area, this place has so much loot it's insane. Go here for early game fights, great loot and a fun time.

• Insane for early-game fights thanks to the close-quarters buildings, movement areas and open spaces.
• Great for rotating into other areas of the map to fight thanks to it being so central.

1. Big Maude

Finally, the best location to drop on World’s Edge has to be Big Maude. This location might not be central to the map, or great for rotations, but god damn does it have one massive thing going for it. Loot is what everyone wants in Apex right? Well, Rampart’s Big Maude can get you that as you have access to 2 fully kitted golden guns with Ramparts magazine and reload passive attached to it. 

They cost 100 crafting, but it's in abundance here. You also have access to great general loot, a loot drone and other rampart-infused guns. Honestly, despite the downsides of this area, the loot all but makes up for it. Land here if you want a perfect gun to slay your enemies.

What Makes Big Maude So Great:

• Has golden perfect guns in every game that are easily accessible. 
• Has good normal loot and guns.
• Has some good rotational potential thanks to the nearby balloon and Geyser being around the corner.
• The best location on World’s Edge by far.
