5. Red Dot A

The best 1.0x scope. The Red Dot A is now available to all primary guns since the recent update and I encourage you to use it. Why? First, it offers pinpoint accuracy with its red dot. The reticle itself won’t block your view of the target a lot. Second, its frame is small compared to other 1.0x scopes, this one won’t take up a lot of screen space, allowing you to have a better view of the surroundings. 

Why Red Dot A is great:

  • Aim-down-sights won’t take up a lot of screen space
  • Red dot reticle allows for pin point accuracy
  • Small red dot reticle won’t obstruct the view a lot compared to other reticles

Red Dot A details:

  • 1.0x zoom
  • Available to all primary guns

 

4. Scope 2.5x B

As the name implies, it provides the same amount of zoom as the much beloved 2.5x A, and it’s better in some aspects like how the edge of the scope takes up less screen space than the ‘A’ version. However, this one is lower in ranking because its reticle isn’t as small as the ‘A’ version. Instead, this one has a spiraling reticle, which can be a bit confusing to other players. Don’t get me wrong though, this one is still a great scope which offers a lot of zoom and screen space to the player while aiming down sights.

Why Scope 2.5x B is great:

  • Takes up less screen space when aiming down sights
  • The big reticle can be an advantage as well, making sure that you’re always aiming near the target.

3. Scope 1.5x

Some might be surprised about the 1.5x scope ranking higher than the 2.5x B. The main reason is the reticle. Its small reticle will allow for pinpoint targeting, and it has the most balanced zoom level among all the scopes. That means with the 1.5x scope, the player won’t be at a disadvantage, be it in long range or in close range. Another great thing about it is its availability. Especially for defenders who mostly have to engage in close range. And like the Red Dot A above, its frame is quite small and narrow so it doesn’t take up a lot of screen space.

  • Small and narrow frame doesn’t take up a lot of screen space
  • Small reticle allows for easier pinpoint targeting

2. Scope 2.5x A

During old school Siege, the 2.5x A, known at that time as the acog, is the most beloved scope by players. The community saw a lot of mourning when it was removed from Jager, and then later on from Ash’s R4-C. Despite its big frame along the edges that takes up a lot of screen space, what’s great about the 2.5x A is its zoom levels as well as its reticle, which allows for pinpoint accuracy. With the 2.5x scope, you can target the head of enemies, as well as small enemy gadgets easily.

1. Scope 3.0x

The ultimate scope for long range targeting. Perfect for marksman rifles. It could be pretty hard and intimidating for beginners to use this scope inside the objective area where close range encounters can happen anytime, but once you get used to it, and I recommend starting with the 2.5x scopes, the 3.0x is also great for close range encounters, because as you can see from the image above, it really provides a clear front view because of its thin frame. Its reticle is also small, almost similar to the red dot, so with the reticle combined with the high zoom levels, the player will be able to hit targets with pinpoint accuracy.

Why is Scope 3.0x great:

  • Thin frame frees up a lot of screen space
  • Reticle allows for pinpoint accuracy
  • High zoom levels will make enemies appear bigger. Therefore, easier to hit.
