[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Solis Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Solis Loadouts in R6 Siege
The five best loadouts that players should try when playing this great intel gatherer in Rainbow Six Siege

Solis is the newest operator in the game and she’s been touted as the “Defender IQ”, but the truth is, she’s a lot more than that, and she’s actually a lot easier to use than IQ. Her special gadget, the SPEC-IO Electro Sensor has a wider range than IQ’s special gadget, and it can scan enemy electronic gadgets that it detects in order to ping them for the whole defending team to see.

The only advantage that IQ’s special gadget has over Solis’ one is that it doesn’t have a gauge that runs out and IQ can shoot her handgun while using it. But just like IQ, Solis has a very interesting array of weapons and generic gadgets to choose from when she’s going on a mission.

5. P90 with Red Dot A and Compensator + SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Impact Grenade

The P90 submachine gun doesn’t really have a lot of tendency for horizontal recoil and that’s why this loadout with the compensator as its barrel attachment is at number five. However, it’s still a very viable barrel attachment for the P90, especially for players who prefer shooting in longer sprays. That’s because the recent recoil progression overhaul has made it harder for players to maintain the recoil of guns, especially in longer bursts, and that’s where the compensator comes in, because it specializes in reducing the horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions of weapons.

With the overall horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions of the P90 reduced, the player will mostly only have to hold down the vertical recoil, and this typically will result in smoother longer sprays with most weapons. That doesn’t really apply to the SMG-11 though because it fires so fast and its magazine capacity is very small, so you can’t really fire it in long sprays. And that’s why the best barrel attachment for it is the flash hider. With both the flash hider and vertical grip present on the SMG-11, the player has the best chance of holding its very strong recoil for the short time that he can fire it.

Excels in:

  • Reducing the horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions of the P90 submachine gun
  • Having the ability to rework the map by creating rotation or flank holes through the use of the impact grenades
  • Having another submachine gun in the SMG-11 as your secondary weapon which can finish enemies off very quickly
  • Having the best recoil control possible on the SMG-11 due to the presence of both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments
  • Being able to shoot enemies in longer sprays and not having to reload a lot due to the P90’s huge magazine capacity

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - P90 with Red Dot A and Compensator
  • Secondary weapon - SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

4. ITA12L with Reflex B and Laser + SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Bulletproof Camera

This loadout setup is for those players who excel at using shotguns, but even for those who are just average with using a shotgun as their primary weapon, it is very viable. It’s basically like the best loadout setup for Smoke and Mute wherein their primary weapon is a shotgun and their secondary is a machine pistol. With this loadout, Solis can have the SMG-11 at the ready when she’s expecting to strafe opponents at medium to long-range, and when she’s expecting a close-range encounter, she can simply switch to the ITA12L shotgun.

So, with this loadout, Solis would definitely have the close-range superiority while maintaining the ability to frag enemies effectively at medium range. And since Solis would have the SMG-11 at the ready most of the time with this loadout, it’s better to attach a laser to the ITA12L shotgun. That way, when Solis switches to it for engaging enemies at close range, the ITA12L shotgun will have a tight hip fire spread, and Solis won’t really have to go to aim-down-sights stance with it, and through that, she will have the speed advantage over her opponent, who would probably have to go into aim-down-sights stance first before shooting her.

Excels in:

  • Having the close-range superiority with the ITA12L shotgun as Solis’ primary weapon which has a heavy firepower and tight hip fire with a laser
  • Providing the user with a clear front view when aiming-down-sight due to the small frame of the Reflex B 1.0x sight
  • Having a fully automatic and rapid firing weapon in the SMG-11 as Solis’ secondary weapon
  • Providing Solis and the whole defending team an extra way of gathering intel through the bulletproof camera gadget
  • Having the best recoil control possible on the SMG-11 machine pistol due to the presence of both the flash hider and vertical grip

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - ITA12L with Reflex B and Laser
  • Secondary weapon - SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Generic gadget - Bulletproof Camera

3. P90 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider + SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Impact Grenade

This loadout setup is high up in the list because it will provide the best recoil control possible for the player when it comes to using Solis’ P90 submachine gun and her SMG-11 machine pistol. That’s because the P90’s recoil pattern mostly only goes in a straight vertical line with very thin recoil diamonds. That means that it's not that prone to horizontal recoil or random recoil from all directions, and that when it comes to recoil, the user mostly has to only worry about its vertical kick. And when it comes to reducing the vertical recoil of weapons, the flash hider is the best barrel attachment.

Aside from greatly reducing the P90’s vertical recoil, the flash hider will also hide its muzzle flash. That could reduce the opponents’ reaction time when it comes to returning fire at Solis because they’ll have lesser visual cues to react to. In a lot of weapons, the removal of the muzzle flash will also help the user’s aim because a lot of weapons' muzzle flash can end up obstructing the user’s view of the target. Of course, this will apply to the SMG-11 as well, and that’s why this loadout setup is a very solid one for Solis players to run with.

Excels in:

  • Having the best recoil control possible on Solis’ P90 submachine gun due to the presence of the flash hider barrel attachment
  • Providing Solis with the ability to rework the map through the use of the impact grenades which she can use to create rotation holes
  • Having the best recoil control possible on the SMG-11 machine pistol by having the flash hider and vertical grip present as two of its attachments
  • Being able to fire at enemies in longer sprays due to the P90 submachine gun’s huge magazine capacity
  • Having pinpoint accuracy when targeting opponents due to the simple center dot reticle from the Red Dot A 1.0x sight

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - P90 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider
  • Secondary weapon - SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

2. P90 with Red Dot A and Extended Barrel + SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Bulletproof Camera

If the previous loadout setup provides the best recoil control possible for Solis when it comes to using her P90 submachine gun, this loadout setup will provide her with the best damage. That’s because the extended barrel will greatly lower the P90’s range damage drop-off, therefore, maximizing the weapon’s damage output and potential. Also, starting next season, extended barrels will add 15% base damage to weapons. With this loadout setup, Solis will be inflicting heavy damage to her opponents through her P90 submachine gun regardless of range. However, the biggest drawback of using the extended barrel is that it doesn’t provide any recoil control benefits.

But that drawback wouldn’t really punish Solis a lot because her P90 submachine gun doesn’t have that strong of a recoil to begin with. As you can see on the recoil test screenshot below, as long as you don’t fire it too long, its shots wouldn’t be out of control. And that’s why the extended barrel is a very viable option for Solis’ P90, especially since the gun has pretty low damage. With the extended barrel, the P90’s damage will remain static and wouldn’t be so weak at medium to long range. The only other thing the user has to worry about is peeking around corners slowly, because opponents might see the gun’s long barrel first.

Excels in:

  • Maximizing the damage output and potential of the P90 submachine gun with the extended barrel attachment lowering its range damage drop-off
  • Providing the user with pinpoint accuracy when aiming-down-sights due to the simple center dot reticle from the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
  • Having an extra way of gathering intel through the use of the bulletproof camera which can also shoot EMP blasts
  • Having the best recoil control possible on the SMG-11 machine pistol due to the presence of both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments
  • Being able to shoot in long sprays and with less chance of having to reload in the middle of a gunfight due to the P90’s huge magazine capacity.

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - P90 with Red Dot A and Extended Barrel
  • Secondary weapon - SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Generic gadget - Bulletproof Camera

1. P90 with Red Dot A and Suppressor + SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Impact Grenade

Even with the recent announcement that extended barrels will now add 15% damage along with its range damage drop-off reduction on weapons, the suppressor remains a better barrel attachment. That’s because it doesn’t reduce the damage of weapons anymore, and it has a lot of great benefits. Of course, the suppressor, popularly known as the silencer, will silence the weapon’s gunshots, making it harder for enemies to determine where you are through them. The suppressor will also hide the weapon’s muzzle flash, thus, reducing the number of visual cues your opponents could react to when pinpointing your location.

And best of all, using the suppressor will remove the weapon’s directional threat indicator. Which means that you could be shooting at enemies for a few seconds and they would still not determine exactly where you are unless they physically see you or they’re close enough to hear your silenced gunshots. Siege is a tactical first-person shooting game, and hiding your presence will give you a lot of advantages, so even though the suppressor won’t add any damage to the weapon like the extended barrel will do soon, it’s still the best and most versatile barrel attachment in the game.

Excels in:

  • Being able to shoot enemies with Solis’ P90 submachine gun without them receiving a directional threat indicator of where the shots are coming from
  • Silencing the gunshots of Solis’ P90 submachine gun, therefore, making it harder for enemies to determine your location.
  • Lessening the visual cues that enemies could react to with the suppressor removing the P90’s muzzle flash
  • Having the best recoil control on the SMG-11 through the use of both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments
  • Being able to rework the map by creating rotation or flanking holes through the use of the impact grenades

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - P90 with Red Dot A and Suppressor
  • Secondary weapon - SMG-11 with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Generic gadget - Impact Grenade
