[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Capitao Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Capitao Loadouts in R6 Siege
The best loadouts that you should definitely try when playing one of Siege’s most underrated Operators

Capitao is one of the best and tactical operators because his special gadget, the Tactical Crossbow, can shoot two smoke grenades which provides a whole lot of cover for the attacking team and two asphyxiating bolts which covers large areas on fire for several seconds. This means that Capitao is not only great for pushing and providing cover for planting the defuser, he’s well-equipped for post-plant plays as well. And speaking of being well-equipped, he has one of the best assault rifles in the game as well as great utilities to help him accomplish his task.

5. Para-308 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore

This loadout setup excels in speed because the angled grip on the Para-308 assault rifle will allow the user to go into aim-down-sights quicker. That’s really handy when it comes to sudden encounters with the enemy and especially when you’re playing aggressively. Of course, the drawback of using the angled grip is that it doesn’t provide any recoil benefits. However, that is for the barrel attachment in this setup which will be the flash hider. The flash hider greatly lowers the weapon’s vertical recoil, so that’s going to be your attachment that will provide the recoil benefit.

And because Capitao’s role is mainly supporting the attacking team’s push through his smoke and fire grenades, the claymores will be very useful for protecting himself and his team from flankers while they are focusing on pushing. The gonne-6 is a really powerful utility that will allow Capitao to destroy one bulletproof gadget, and there are really pesky ones like Maestro’s Evil Eye or Melusi’s Banshee. Capitao can also use the one shot from the gonne-6 to destroy a reinforced hatch or a barricaded door to start off a rush when the player wants to play aggressively.

Excels in:

  • Going into aim-down-sights faster because of the angled grip
  • The scope 2.0x will provide a good amount of zoom while not sacrificing a lot of side view
  • Weapon will still have great recoil control because of the flash hider
  • User will be able to destroy a pesky bulletproof gadget because of the gonne-6 hand cannon
  • The user will be able to protect his and his teammates’ back from roamers and flankers with the claymore

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Para-308 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

4. M249 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + PRB92 with Suppressor + Claymore

Capitao’s M249 LMG used to be a lot more popular than it is now. That’s because of the recent recoil overhaul on weapons across the board that came down with Operation Brutal Swarm. Its aim was to nerf the meta of just spraying long suppressive fire with light machine guns because they generally had low recoil before the update. But now, with Operation Brutal Swarm, it’ll be harder to control the recoil of longer sprays, and that affected light machine guns heavily due to their usually huge magazine capacity.

However, that is not to say that the M249 isn’t a viable weapon anymore. It only means that the user will have to use it more tactically now and in shorter bursts. It still has its heavy damage, wide variety of scopes, and its huge magazine capacity. So, it’s still a very viable weapon as long as you use it in a more controlled way. And as you can see from the screenshot from the shooting range below, I’ve fired a whole clip of the M249 with my own recoil control and its shots didn’t go that crazy. The PRB92 handgun is there for when you’re reloading the M249 because that’s its main weakness – its reload time is quite long.

Excels in:

  • Suppressive fire due to the huge magazine capacity from the M249 light machine gun
  • Manageable recoil due to the vertical grip and flash hider working hand in hand to hold it down
  • Good amount of zoom due to the scope 2.0x while also not compromising so much on peripheral view
  • PRB92 can deal with sudden enemy engagements while the M249 is reloading
  • The suppressor on the PRB92 will allow the user to shoot defender cameras without giving away his location
  • Protection from roamers and flankers with the use of claymores

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M249 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - PRB92 with Suppressor
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

3. Para-308 with Scope 2.0x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore

The Para-308 assault rifle is one of the best weapons in the game because of its high damage, wide variety of attachments, and most importantly, its low stock recoil. Because its recoil is inherently low, the user is free to attach non-recoil benefit providing attachments to some of its parts, like the barrel for example. And that’s why for this loadout setup, you’ll have the extended barrel for the Para-308's barrel. And the main focus of this loadout is damage.

That’s because the benefit of using the extended barrel is that it greatly lowers the range damage drop-off of weapons. That means that with the extended barrel, you’ll be inflicting high damage to enemies even from long range. The vertical grip is there to ensure that despite having no recoil benefits on your barrel, you’ll still be able to control the gun’s recoil very well, and with the gonne-6 hand cannon, you’ll be able to neutralize a pesky bulletproof defender gadget.

Excels in:

  • Reducing the range damage drop-off of the Para-308 with the use of extended barrel
  • Very manageable recoil because of the vertical grip and the Para-308's low stock recoil
  • Pinpoint accuracy from the scope 2.0x which provides a good amount of zoom without reducing the peripheral view a lot
  • Being able to destroy one bulletproof enemy gadget with the use of the gonne-6 hand cannon
  • Being able to destroy an unreinforced hatch or barricaded door or window with only one shot from the gonne-6 hand cannon
  • Protection from flankers and roamers with two claymores in Capitao’s arsenal

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Para-308 with Scope 2.0x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

2. Para-308 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + PRB92 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Hard Breach Charge

Capitao is a very underrated operator in general, but even for those who love to use him, he’s an underrated vertical attacker as well. That’s because he’s very effective when it comes to a conventional horizontal push, but him attacking from above is very effective as well and it can surprise defenders a lot. This loadout is for when you, as the Capitao player, wants to attack from above. Now, obviously, the hard breach charges would be for destroying reinforced hatches, and the good thing is, Capitao has two of them in his arsenal.

With the hard breach charges, you’ll be able to destroy two reinforced hatches, or if you only need one reinforced hatch destroyed, you can use the extra one for destroying a portion of the wooden floor above the objective spot. That’ll expose the defenders below and unsettle them, especially if you do it above a usual strong angle to hold for defenders. And from the destroyed hatch, you’ll be able to fire your smoke grenades to provide cover and the asphyxiating bolts for area-denial, and then you can work your way from there.

Excels in:

  • Vertical plays because of the hard breach charges which can destroy reinforced hatches
  • Not giving your location away because the suppressor hides your weapon’s directional threat indicator
  • The suppressor will also greatly dampen the weapon’s gunshot sounds
  • The suppressor will also hide the weapon’s muzzle flash, reducing the visual cues that enemies can react to.
  • Manageable recoil because of the vertical grip which holds down the weapon’s vertical recoil
  • Balance between amount of zoom and peripheral view due to the scope 1.5x
  • Great recoil control when firing the PRB92 handgun due to the muzzle brake
  • PRB92 handgun will have a tight hip fire because of the laser

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Para-308 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - PRB92 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge

1. Para-308 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore

The suppressor is the meta when it comes to barrel attachments right now since the removal of its damage reduction penalty on weapons. Now, the only real downside to equipping it instead of other barrel attachments is that it doesn’t provide any recoil benefits. However, if you attach it to a weapon like the Para-308 which doesn’t have a strong recoil in the first place, you would only enjoy its great stealth benefits. Such as the removal of the weapon’s directional threat indicator, muzzle flash, and of course, the dampening of its gunshot sounds.

Even if the enemy is using a really good headset, it would always be hard for him to ascertain where your shots are coming from if it’s more than five meters away and there’s no directional threat indicator. With the vertical grip and the stock recoil of the Para-308 being very manageable, you can empty a clip with this setup without having your shots go crazy. The Scope 2.0x will really help you target your enemies at any range, since it will provide a clear front view and high enough level of zoom without really compromising a lot on peripheral view.

Excels in:

  • Stealth benefits from the suppressor which will remove the weapon’s directional threat indicator
  • The suppressor will also greatly silence the Para-308's gunshot sounds
  • The Para-308 will also not produce muzzle flash while shooting because of the suppressor
  • The Para-308 will still have a very manageable recoil because of the vertical grip
  • The scope 2.0x will provide a really good amount of zoom while also not sacrificing a lot of peripheral view
  • The gonne-6 hand cannon will allow the user to destroy a bulletproof defender gadget
  • The gonne-6 hand cannon will also allow the user to destroy an unreinforced wall or a barricaded door or window
  • Countering roamers and flankers with the use of the claymores

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - Para-308 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Gonne-6
  • Generic gadget - Claymore
