Because Thatcher gets banned in most ranked matches thesedays and the best alternatives for him are Maverick or Kali, Kaid's Rtilas have become lot more valuable. Kaid's Rtilas have a pretty wide range, so Kaid can attach them in awkward angles to prevent Maverick's frag grenades or Kali's Explosive Lance from reaching them while still effectively jamming the reinforced walls. This makes Kaid a great alternative to Mute or Bandit when it comes to countering hard breachers. But what's really scary about Kaid is that combined with his 3-armor rating which makes him hard to take down. His weapons inflict high damage as well. And in this article we will discuss the best weapons for Kaid and the attachment combinations you should use for them.

5. Aug A3 with Scope 1.5x Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + .44 Mag Semi-Auto + Nitro Cell

A great loadout for long distance shooting

The Aug A3 is a great gun for a suppressor because it already has low recoil to begin with even without attachments that provide recoil benefits. With how stable the Aug A3 is, you can keep shooting your enemies with great accuracy while not providing them with a directional threat indicator on where your shots are coming from because of the suppressor. With this setup, your enemies will have a lot of trouble guessing where the shots are coming from behind all the cover that the objective area can provide.

With this loadout, you can target enemies at long-range with the .44 Mag Semi-auto with pinpoint through its 3.0x scope that has a red dot in the middle. With this handgun, you basically have a mini marksman rifle. And at 54 damage per shot, it really rivals many marksman rifles in the game.

As for the nitro cell, it’s a great gadget for getting kills behind a cover, or for countering a defuser plant attempt by the Attackers. In many cases, you’ll also be able to get kills with it when countering a vertical. You can also attach it above doorways in order to serve as an early warning device and kill enemies attempting to sneak through said doorway, because the static sounds that it makes becomes louder when enemies are nearby.

4. TCSG12 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + LFP586 + Nitro Cell

The TCSG12 can take out huge chunks of the opponents hp with each shot

The TCSG12 is one of the best long-range weapons in the game because with its 2.0x scope, you can practically use it as a marksman rifle, and just like real marksman rifles, the TCSG12 does major damage at 53, even when suppressed. It also has low vertical weapon kick, small recoil diamond, and its recoil pattern only goes on a straight vertical path. Making the TCSG12 one of the most stable and accurate long-range weapons in the game. 

And when your teammates are stingy with their impact grenades and won’t make rotation holes, you can use the TCSG12 instead. It’ll only take a few shots from this gun to create a functioning rotation hole because of its highly destructive slugs. It also has a lot of bullets so as long as you don’t waste too many shots on creating rotation holes, you’ll have enough bullets to deal with your enemies.

3. Aug A3 with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + LFP586 + Barbed Wire

The best Kaid loadout for dealing with enemies at close range

With this loadout, you’re going for maximum recoil control on the Aug A3. While it lacks the stealth benefits of the suppressor in item #5, this loadout still does very well especially for Kaid’s role as an anchor. With the flash hider, you’ll get the best recoil you can have on the Aug A3, and that means you’ll have better accuracy. It will also hide the muzzle flash of your gunshots, so your enemies will have less visual cues on where you’re shooting them from. 

The barbed wire is a very underrated Kaid secondary gadget because most players are attracted to the killing potential of the nitro cell. However, the barbed wires, in many cases, are better than the nitro cell when it comes to making teamplays. For example, you and your teammates can feel a usual Attacker spot to take when pushing with barbed wires, and Kaid, even with one Rtila can electrify many of them. That will make it very hard for attackers to push, especially when the electrified barbed wires are protected by Jager or Wamai’s special gadgets.

2. TCSG12 with Scope 2.0x and Vertical Grip + LFP586 + Nitro Cell

If a suppressed TCSG12 can take out huge chunks of opponents hp per shot. Imagine what an unsuppressed TCSG12 can do.

With this loadout, you’re going in favor of maximum damage over stealth. The TCSG12 without a suppressor does a whopping 63 damage. Combined with its low recoil, you’ll shave away at your opponents’ hp very fast with just a few consecutive shots. And when the opponents manage to get near you, you can quickly switch to the LFP586 which packs a heavy stopping power with each shot. 

While you can attach an angled grip to the TCSG12, the recent nerf on the angled grip makes it not worth the higher recoil that it’ll cause. The nerf on the angled grip made it so that there’s not much significant difference anymore between the aim-down-sights (ads) speed of the vertical grip and angled grip. That’s why it’s better to just take advantage of the recoil benefits of the vertical grip.

And because of the high destruction and penetration that each shot from the TCSG12 can make. Kaid players using this loadout to create small murder holes on the wooden paths that Attackers usually take and place a nitro cell betneath it as a trap. Once Kaid spots an attacker through that hole using that path, he can quickly detonate the nitro cell and get an easy kill.

When it comes to long range encounters, the benefits from the suppressor outweigh its drawback.

Barbed wires on Kaid are really underrated, but it's understandable because the nitro cell does get a lot of kills. But with the barbed wires placed on tight angles and electrified with an Rtila from an awkward angle, it’ll really be hard for attackers to push. It’s also a great way to prevent drones. Which makes it easier for the Kaid player to focus on sniping enemies with his suppressed TCSG12. 

This is a great loadout for ranked matches, especially since Thatcher is usually banned there. That means it’ll be harder for Attackers to disable your electrified barbed wires. Twitch’s drone won’t be able to pass through it, and as long as they’re protected by anti-grenade gadgets such as Wamai’s Mag-NETS and Jager’s ADS, it’ll be very hard for Attackers to penetrate the area you’re securing, especially since you will be sniping them with the TCSG12 whenever they expose themselves.

And while anchoring, you can take advantage of the many covers that the your bomb site offers. This will make it much harder for the Attackers to take you down because they will also have much less visual cues on where your shots are coming from, courtesy of the suppressor on the TCSG12.
