[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Echo Loadouts

Rainbow Six Siege Echo Loadouts
Siege’s lazy boi. Ah no, I meant efficient. Efficient smart boi.

Used to be one of the most banned operators in ranked mode. His yokai drone has suffered some heavy nerfs because of that. The good thing about that is there’s now a good chance that you’ll be able to use him in ranked mode again. And while it’s a lot easier to destroy his flying drone now. It doesn’t mean that Echo-san isn’t a frightening defender anymore. If anything, the nerfs on his yokai only makes his arsenal of guns shine more.

5. MP5SD with 1.5x Scope, Angled Grip, and Laser + Bearing 9 with Holographic, Flash Hider, and Laser + Deployable Shield

A suppressor that doesn’t reduce damage. Now that's efficient.

Echo’s unique gun. The MP5SD has a built-in suppressor. Yep, you can’t remove it, but it doesn’t have the reduced damage drawback that normal suppressors have. The best thing with the MP5SD is that you can attach an angled grip to it. And for Echo who primarily needs to be on his Yokai most of the time, switching to his loadout and being able to make quick flicks after spotting and disorientating enemies is very important.

The deployable shield is for making hiding spots inside the objective area while you control the yokai drone.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range

4. Supernova with Suppressor and Laser + Bearing 9 with Holographic, Flash Hider, and Laser + Impact Grenades

Packs a silent, but heavy punch.

Echo’s specialty is disorienting enemies with his yokai drone. Making him a master at preventing enemies from pushing and planting. That, and being a 3-armor, 1-speed operator makes it so that it is best for him to stay inside the objective area and anchor. That mostly means engaging the enemies in close range. And when it comes to close range encounters, the shotgun is king.

With this loadout, you’re going with a suppressed shotgun, which will even make it harder for the enemies to realize where they’re being shot from, especially when they’re dazed by the yokai drone. And when you do need to hit enemies from medium range, the bearing 9 will do the job. While it has a strong kick, with the flash hider, you’d be able to control it well as long as you stick with using flick shots and tap-firing.

Excels in:

  • Close range

3. MP5SD with 1.5x Scope, and Vertical Grip + Bearing 9 with Holographic, Flash Hider, and Laser + Impact Grenades

Making sure that all your shots will count

With the MP5SD’s inherent low recoil, attaching a vertical grip to it will make it very stable and will allow you to feel very minimal recoil. And the more you’re able to hold the recoil down. The more accurate your shots will be. With this loadout, the MP5SD will be effective in long range even with the damage penalty per meter because you’ll be able to compensate with the added accuracy.

Use your MP5SD for medium to long range engagements, and for close ranged ones, the bearing 9 which has a very high fire rate will be as effective as any gun designed for close range.

Excels in:

  • Any range

2. Supernova with Laser + Bearing 9 with Holographic, Flash Hider, and Laser + Impact Grenades

Fookin’ laseh sights

As Echo, you would mostly be monitoring the surroundings with the yokai, so attaching laser sights to your guns wouldn’t matter that much because it will only be visible when you’re aiming the guns that they are attached to. With Echo, your engagements would mostly be at close to medium range, and ideally right after you disorient the attackers with the yokai. That means quickly switching to your loadouts from the yokai drone, and quick flick shots and tap shots like that would be best when aided with a laser. Especially with the shotgun, because it tightens its hip fire accuracy and pellet spread.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range

1. MP5SD with 1.5x Scope, and Angled Grip + Bearing 9 with Holographic, Flash Hider, and Laser + Impact Grenades

Osa made impact grenade stocks go brrrr

Normally, the ideal secondary gadget for Echo is the deployable shield. Osa changed all that. Because impact grenades are the #1 counter to her shield. That’s just more of a bonus though. With impact grenades on your loadout, you can help your team make rotation holes, and in case there’s no Osa, don’t feel like it’s a shame that you didn’t go with the deployable shield. Because impact grenades are also effective at finishing enemies that have already been damaged are hiding on corners.

With Echo’s yokai giving you the power to disorient enemies and provide visual on them. You’ll know when and where to throw your impact grenade.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range
