[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Ash Loadouts

Rainbow Six Siege Ash Loadouts
Her elite skin from the Outbreak event. How nostalgic. And still one of the best elite skins ever.

Ash is arguably the best operator for rushing because her special gadget, the ‘breaching round’, can make large entry holes on unreinforced walls, allowing her and her teammates to quickly enter the objective area and wreak havoc. She’s also a 3-speed operator so she can get into positions and angles quickly and aim for the kill. But those aren’t the only reasons why she’s feared. It’s also not her weird hitbox either. Siege players have come to fear and love the weaponry available to her.

5. G36C with 1.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + M45 Meusoc with Suppressor + Claymore

The G36C is one of the best guns in Ubisoft FPS games

While Ash is great for rushing, she’s also great for tactical and careful gameplay. Be that as it may, Ash excels in close to medium range encounters, and for that, the 1.5x provides a great balance between amount of zoom and field of view. The vertical grip will provide a more compact recoil on your G36C and the flash hider will further decrease its vertical recoil. This loadout may not be as fast as the others, but it will give you the most precision due to its enhanced recoil benefits.

Always shoot defender cameras with the suppressed handgun and cover your six with a claymore

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range

4. R4-C with Red Dot, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + M45 Meusoc with Suppressor + Claymore

Don’t let the R4-C's recoil pattern graph intimidate you

The in-game recoil graph of the R4-C makes it look like the player will have to hold on to dear life while shooting the gun, but in the field the R4-C is actually very easy to handle. The flash hider and the vertical grip will make it even easier. And the flash hider isn’t just great for its recoil benefits. Its primary function, hiding the muzzle flash, is great for providing some delay for your enemies to notice where the shots are coming from, as well as keeping your screen clear while shooting, because while a lot of players do not notice it because it all happens quickly, the muzzle flash of their own gun can blur their vision a bit while shooting.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range

3. R4-C with Red Dot, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + M45 Meusoc with Suppressor + Claymore

I may have a bias for the G36C but seriously, the R4-C is a great gun in Siege.

Yes, they removed the acog, or what’s known now as 2.5x scope, on the R4-C. Ash mains still mourn that. But even without the 2.5x scope, you can still use Ash effectively for long range engagements, and yes, with a red dot scope. The holographic sights provide more sense of control, while the red dot provides more accuracy. And with the extended barrel, you can strafe at enemies from long range while still doing heavy damage.

The best thing is, with this loadout, you’ll not just excel in long range, but in close range as well because of the 1x zoom that the red dot provides.

Excels in:

  • Any range

2. G36C with 1.5x Scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + M45 Meusoc with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore

Stealth on Ash? Why the hell not.

Ash is known as a noisy operator because of her breaching rounds. But it doesn’t mean you cannot be stealthy after making a large entry hole. You can just make it for your teammates and then you go your separate way with stealth, because Ash ‘s speed is also great for hunting roamers. And with the suppressor, you’ll effectively do just that. The suppressor hides the muzzle flash and directional threat indicator of your shots, and that will make your enemies react slower to you shooting them.

And with this loadout, you’ll be able to make silent kills, preventing other enemies from getting a good handle on your whereabouts.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range
  • Stealth

1. G36C with 1.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + M45 Meusoc with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore

Seriously now, the 1.5x scope is better in many situations than the acog. So don’t be sad anymore, Ash mains.

This loadout plays into Ash’s strengths well which is fast entry and rushing. With the angled grip, you’re letting go of the coil benefits from the vertical grip in favor of being able to quickly go into aim-down-sights (ads) position, allowing you to frag enemies with quick flick shots. And the 1.5x scope is perfect for that. The 1.5x scope provides just enough zoom for you to clearly see your enemies while still giving you a wide field of view so that you’ll be aware of other enemies.

The M45 Meusoc does 58 damage without a suppressor, and that will give you a great advantage when you switch to it when your primary needs reloading. And with the laser sight, you’ll be able to make some deadly flick shots with it. This loadout lets go of stealth, in favor of all out damage and destruction.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range
