Every FPS game has a crosshair in it. Some are unique, while some are just standard. It is used to show the position of your aim. Many gamers overlook this but it's an essential part of FPS games because having the best crosshair for you means the best accuracy. And the accurate aim is a sign of pros. For perfect aim, every setting counts and should be adjusted according to your liking.

CSGO is a very competitive game, and it gets exhilarating when you start to play like a pro by adjusting your crosshair settings. Many FPS games only offer standard crosshair adjustments that you can change. Like color or size. But CSGO being the top FPS game of all time, has given us the ability to shape, size, colorize and choose six different styles of crosshairs using its console commands. It has given us the complete freedom to make a crosshair however we like, which to me sounds pretty awesome! But today, we will be discussing only the color part of the crosshair and how it affects our game. Let's see which crosshair color professional CSGO players use now, shall we?

How To Change Crosshair Settings Using Console Commands

CSGO has a convenient console where you can enter commands and change options that are not available in its options menu. For changing crosshair, you will need the same thing. Just follow the steps below on how to enable the developer console.

1) When you launch CSGO, click on its setting button below.

2) Here you can see the " Enable Developer Console " option. Change it to "Yes" if it's "No." And the console will be available for us to use.

3) Here I have an example. As you can see, my crosshair is green. And I want to change it to red.

4) Use the ~ key to open the console, copy any commands below, and press Enter to activate them. I used the command cl_crosshaircolor "0" which changes my green-colored crosshair to red. It's as easy as that.

5) KRIMZ from Fnatic (Yellow)

The yellow crosshair in CSGO is something that I have seen many times since the game came out. The color yellow is perfect when you look in dark spots, such as in dust_2 tunnels or Mirage Apts, palace, or market. It is not too dark there, but you can aim very quickly in darker spots with this crosshair. It's not very accurate when placed on a white background, but there aren't many such spots in CSGO. That's why CSGO pro player KRIMZ has been using yellow crosshairs for a long time. The shape, the size, the gap, everything looks good!

Freddy "KRIMZ '' Freddy is a professional CSGO player currently playing for the legendary Fnatic team as a support rifler. KRIMZ was born in Sweden. KRIMZ didn't let his family know when he first started his career as an ESports player. The reason was his nervousness about whether his family would accept his decision or not. What will people say? 4) Magisk from Astralis (Cyan)

Next, we have Cyan, which is uncommon in any CSGO match, but many pro players have chosen this color to use in CSGO. The reason behind that is the preferred color of choice. It does look great when you place it on your opponent and that headshot lands! For darker areas, you can also you cyan color. This unique crosshair color is just for the courageous gamers who prefer entry fragging or sick bhop kills or those 360 AWP shots. An uncommon crosshair color for uncommon plays!

Emil "Magisk" Hoffmann is a professional CSGO player who plays with team Astralis as a rifler and lurker. Everyone in the CSGO scene knows the team Astralis because of how dominant they are. They have won the most majors, and Magisk is a part of such a fantastic team, showing how great he is. Magisk was born in Denmark, and everyone surrounding him had no idea of him ever becoming a pro-CSGO player. Especially for the team that has a fantastic roster! With such a fantastic team, he has got two MVP awards in 2018 and 2019, respectively. His individual skills or team skills are both above and beyond, and he has proven that on many occasions. He is a precious player and has many fans around the world.

What is the most dominant killer color you can think of when you are playing competitive CSGO? Red, of course! Even when you get a frag in CSGO, your name is bordered by a dark red color box. That shows how much red means in competitive CSGO. Red is a color that resembles many things, but in CSGO specifically, it shows dominance, accuracy, and killer instinct. 

Red crosshairs are pretty standard to see in CSGO just because of how deadly it looks. It helps you see the surroundings more clearly and show you where to shoot. Most of the time, it's always head!

Cedrik "RpK" Guipouy is a professional CSGO player that currently plays for the team Vitality as a rifler and support. Born in France, RpK is a legendary veteran CSGO player that has set the competitive scene for CSGO. He has been playing professionally in E-sports since 2006. That alone shows how experienced and valuable RpK is. Being the oldest player in CSGO, you might think he might not be a good player, but let me tell you, it's not that. His aim is just as pristine and accurate as it was back then. He shows that age is just a number. With such great experience under his belt, he is a force to be feared by many. If you ever get 1V1 with RpK. You know you will lose that round because his deadly aim and the dominant crosshair will always be locked on your head!

Pink. A very unique and rare crosshair color to see in competitive CSGO. But it has nothing to do with its rarity or how the world perceives this bright color. I think it looks pretty cool. Even I have changed my crosshair color to pink for some days, and I wasn't disappointed at all. When I was playing with silvers, they were surprised how I changed my crosshair color to pink as there is no specific setting to change it to pink as others have. For it to be pink, you have to tweak RGB values, and you will have this awesome-looking crosshair ready to unleash the cutene- I mean the power inside you!

Ozgur "woxic" Eker is a professional CSGO player that has played for professional CSGO team mousesports. woxic was born in Turkey and plays the role of an AWPer. Currently, he has no team and is looking for new opportunities. But before, he has played for many teams, including Hellraisers and mousesports. woxic is considered a legend in the Turkish CSGO scene because of his overall achievements in CSGO as a pro player. But woxic isn't just famous because of him being from Turkey. His playstyle is unique, and it's flashy, fast, and accurate. He is very energetic and has this aura around him that makes his opponents shiver with fear. woxic is very young, only 23 years old, and he has already made quite a name for himself. He is very precise with his shots, and every round, he is a sight to behold. A genuinely remarkable player!

1) JW from Fnatic (Green)

The standard CSGO crosshair color is Green, being used by almost everyone who plays CSGO.  You start a match in CSGO, and every crosshair color you will find the most will always be green. Why? Because it's just that good. It can do it all, for example, seeing better in the dark, having that CSGO look, is easy to use and look at, many CSGO pros use green color, etc. To me, the green color is just perfect. And pro players always look for perfection. I mean, I am no pro; I am still only MGE rank, but the real pros almost all use this glorious bright color. It just gives you that FPS and tactical missions type vibes. Like you are about to go on a top priority mission, and you have to be successful by being sneaky, accurate, deadly, and intelligent. Which in CSGO, you must have them all. Go Green!

Jesper "JW" Wecksell is a professional CSGO player that plays for the team Fnatic as an AWPer. JW was born in Sweden and is 26 years old. His nickname is just the initials of his real name Jesper Wecksell thus forming JW. You guys will be surprised to know that JW has always wanted to play for his favorite team, Fnatic. As a kid, he had this dream, and now as an adult, he has achieved it, which got him the nickname "Wonder-kid." JW is considered an aggressive player, and by far, the most knife kills I have seen in CSGO is by JW. He is very intimidating and just overall an excellent player in CSGO. He is a hilarious guy, and his teammates enjoy having him around. They are all pleased with him and trust in his skills a lot. That's why they let him do what he always does best, infiltrate the enemy team and win the game! His aim is super crisp, and his knowledge of the game is immersing.
