Valorant Best Ways To Get AP [Top 5 Ways]
Level borders waiting for you to reach them.

You might be wondering why some players have 3-digit account levels regardless of their rank. That’s because they’ve garnered huge amounts of Account Points (AP) that shot their levels that high!

So, what exactly is AP? Account Points are earned by playing and completing any Valorant game mode. Once you complete a game, the system will reward you with 1 AP plus 1 AP for every 6 seconds play.

Winning a match grants you an additional 50 AP, while your first win of the day gives you a bonus of 1,000 AP. Each account level requires 5,000 AP to level up, so, you do the math.

With that said, we’ve rounded up the top 5 methods to get AP fast!

Top 5 Best Ways to Get AP in Valorant

5. Playing Unrated Games

The first method is an obvious one: playing unrated games. As a beginner, you must first hone your game sense and familiarize yourself with the game's mechanics. Unrated is your best shot at doing all these. You're basically hitting a lot of birds with this strategy. First, you can farm for AP and XP, then you can complete your missions, and you can unlock agent contracts.

How it works:

  • Enter Unrated matchmaking and choose your best agent.
  • Do your absolute best to win as many games as you can! Winning rounds will give you more APs and XPs.
  • Be sure to learn as you enjoy the game! You will need all the experience you can get to prepare yourself for higher ELO lobbies next.

 4. Completing Daily & Weekly Missions

Valorant gives you daily and weekly missions that will grant you a lot of XP and AP upon completion. That's why players want to complete the two daily and three weekly missions before reset.

How it works:

  • Play spike rush and pick an agent with a usable skill during the buy phase. Cypher is an example.
  • At the start of every round, use any usable skill until the mission is completed.
  • Watch how you complete your missions the fastest way!
  • Completing missions will give both AP and XP.

3. Play Deathmatch

Deathmatch serves as your training grounds right after The Range. Even pro players and streamers made playing deathmatch a habit before starting their rank session. This method will allow you to farm AP and XP and help you improve your aim and game sense.

How it works:

  • Enter deathmatch.
  • Keep your focus, and don't mind the K/D/A.
  • Kill as much as possible, but don't forget to hone your skills.
  • Practice crosshair placements, map layouts, gun mechanics, and more.
  • Since deathmatch prohibits skills, it's all about mechanical plays and your aim game, making it the perfect warm-up venue.

2. Throwing A Spike Rush

Next is another ironic method that will allow you to farm AP and XP for your battle pass. This mind-blowing paradox strategy gives you a whopping 20,000 XP per hour, which means you also gain AP in the process!

How it works:

  • Create a party of 4-5 members.
  • Enter Spike Rush and choose an agent with AOE skills that can deal damage to allies.
  • Throw the game by killing your teammates at the start of every round. Easy, right? However, you don't get to complete your missions with this method.

1. The 3-Minute Unrated Game

Valorant is a strategic game that requires you to use those creative juices to win games. But that doesn't only apply to conventional ways. Players learned to creatively use agent skills to shoot their account levels fast!

How it works:

  • Create a party of 4-5 members. You'll know why soon!
  • Two of you must take the role of Phoenix or Brimstone.
  • At the start of every round, gather the team around and use Phoenix's Hot Hands and Brimstone's Incendiary to kill all teammates.
  • Do this until the fourth round.
  • After the 4th round, initiate a surrender and have your teammates agree. Yes, that's why you need at least 4 members in the party!
  • That's how you end an unrated match in 3 minutes! This will give you enough AP to unlock competitive mode in an hour if you repeat this strategy 20 times.
