[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Sens Loadouts

Top 5 Best Sens Loadouts in R6 Siege
You can really tell from the way that they hold their gun that Sens brings a lot of spunk to the game

Sens is the newest operator in Rainbow Six Siege, and they brought a lot of heat with them. Her R.O.U. Projector System special gadget is probably the flashiest special gadget in the game, but despite its flashiness, it adds a lot of tactical aspects into the game. A simplistic view of it is that it's the most effective smoke screen in the game right now. But it’s not just their special gadget that is new to the game. Coming along with Sens is the POF-9, the newest assault rifle in Siege, and one that is very intriguing. In this article, we will dissect the POF-9, as well as the other weapons in Sens’ arsenal.

5. 417 with Scope 1.5x, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + SDP 9mm with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Hard Breach Charge

For sure, everyone is excited to use the POF-9, especially because it’s the newest gun in Siege. But for those who prefer the high damage of a marksman rifle, Sens’ 417 is the weapon of choice. And truly, there’s a huge difference between the damage of the 417 and the POF-9. For an assault rifle, the POF-9's damage is actually on the lower side, with 35 standard damage, while the 417 has the high damage that one could expect from a marksman rifle, with 69 standard damage.

With the 1.5x scope, Sens would be able to hit their targets very well, even at long range, without being at a disadvantage at close range, because the 1.5x scope provides the user a good balance between frontal zoom and peripheral view. And close to medium range is where Sens would be dealing with their enemies most of the time because of their role as a cover provider. And that’s also why the hard breach charge would come in handy, because they can use it to breach reinforced hatches, or make an alternate horizontal entry hole.

Excels in:

  • Any range
  • Inflicting high damage
  • Hard breaching
  • High destruction profile per shot

4. 417 with Scope 3.0x, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + SDP 9mm with Suppressor + Claymore

This loadout provides the standard marksman loadout for Sens, and could be tricky to use, because of their role as a cover provider. But if the user masters this loadout well, they’ll be very effective at making quick work of their enemies while still performing Sens’ role. The 3.0x scope is for experienced players who are very used to the 2.5x and 3.0x even at close range. With this scope, the user will be able to see their targets really well, and of course, the better you see your target, the more effective you’ll be at hitting them.

The claymore is really useful for covering your back from enemy roamers. Leave one on a common spot where enemies flank or come from behind, and try leaving one behind Sens’ projector cover, especially when your team is attempting to plant behind it. It’s a tricky way to counter enemies who will try to use your projector cover against you. The suppressed SDP 9mm handgun is for times when you’re stealthily penetrating the building and you need to shoot defender cameras or other gadgets in silence.

Excels in:

  • Medium to long range
  • Accuracy
  • High damage
  • High destruction profile per shot
  • Stealth

3. POF-9 with Scope 2.5x A, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore

The extended barrel doesn’t provide any recoil control benefits on Sens’ POF-9, but with the extended barrel, the range drop-off damage will be greatly lessened. That means that in this loadout, you’ll be inflicting high damage from any range. The POF-9's standard damage is quite low for an assault rifle, so any extra damage you can inflict on your enemies is welcome. Of course, just take care to pace your shots well, because unlike what its in-game description says, the POF-9 isn’t really easy to handle.

And that is why it’s best to stick with short burst firing with this loadout. Because the POF-9 has a rough recoil, without a recoil-benefit providing barrel attachment, you’ll find yourself missing a lot of shots if you try long burst shots with this loadout, even if you have excellent recoil control on your mouse or gamepad. And while this loadout makes sure that you’ll inflict the best damage as you can, take care not to peek around corners slowly, because the long barrel will probably be seen by the enemies first.

Excels in:

  • Inflicting high damage from any range
  • Short burst firing
  • Single shot firing
  • Close to medium range

And now that Siege has a shooting range feature, we can really test and show you how the recoil of each loadout set works. Note that these tests were done without me applying any recoil control on my mouse, and there was no need to test the recoil pattern of the 417-marksman rifle above, because it’s a single shot firing gun, therefore; its recoil is really dependent on how the users paces their shots.

2. POF-9 with Scope 2.5x A, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore

As mentioned above, unlike the in-game description, the POF-9 can give the user a hard time when it comes to controlling it. And its rough recoil primary comes from its strong first shot. That is why for this loadout, you’ll be attaching the muzzle brake on your POF-9's barrel because it’s the best attachment for lowering the first shot of weapons. And while it will only affect the weapon’s first shot and not the subsequent shots, it does wonders in controlling the recoil of rough guns like the POF-9.

And that is because the first shot usually determines the rhythm of your subsequent shots. So, a strong first shot could ruin your recoil control. With the muzzle brake greatly lowering the recoil of your first shot, you’ll have a great feel of how the gun’s recoil will go, so you’ll have a strong sense of control over it. As you can see from the recoil test on the shooting range below, the recoil pattern is much more stable than the one above with the extended barrel.

Excels in:

  • Lowering the first shot weapon kick
  • Recoil stability
  • Close to medium range
  • Short burst firing

Recoil Pattern Test:

1. POF-9 with Scope 2.5x A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Claymore

While the muzzle brake does a lot when it comes to stabilizing the recoil of the rough POF-9, the flash hider is still the best barrel attachment for it. Not only does it greatly lower the vertical recoil of the gun, it also provides the user with another benefit, which is hiding the weapon’s muzzle flash. Without a muzzle flash on your weapon, your enemies will have fewer visual cues when they’re returning fire on you, therefore lessening their effectiveness.

It also helps your own visuals as well, because without a muzzle flash, your screen will always be clear, and you’ll be able to see enemies better. And as mentioned above, the specialty of the flash hider is to lower the vertical recoil of weapons, that’s why you can see from the shooting range recoil pattern test below, that the shots of the POF-9 are tighter or much closer to each other. With some added recoil control on your own mouse or gamepad, this loadout will give you the best experience when using the POF-9.

Excels in:

  • Vertical recoil control
  • Close to medium range
  • Giving fewer visual cues to your enemies
  • Close to medium range
