[Top 10] GTA 5 Best Mods For Immersion You'll Love

GTA 5 Best Mods For Immersion
GTA 5: The only game in which you aren't surprised to see a character totally irrelevant to the it.

GTA 5 was released multiple times throughout the years, with enhanced gameplay and graphics for different platforms. The vanilla GTA 5 version is not half bad and it was a benchmark for many PC builders.

Thanks to Rockstar’s open-mindedness, modders were given the freedom to customise the game even further. Improved textures, immersive gameplay and adding random bullshit through mods to the game really intrigued people all around the world.

Let’s take a look at the top 10 best GTA 5 mods for immersion that I guarantee you will love!

10. Fuel Script V

fuel mod

Have you ever wondered how you can drive all day long in GTA 5 without needing the fuel up your car? Although it would’ve been more of a nuisance than a feature but heck, I would sleep better at night knowing the petrol stations in GTA 5 have a purpose.

In the Fuel Script V mod, the petrol stations are active and you can get your car refuelled. Which means your car will run on limited fuel and you can’t indefinitely drive all around San Andreas without a care in the world about paying for gas. That’s not how it works in the real world!

09. Better Deformation

better deformation mod

The vanilla version of GTA 5 had pretty sweet and realistic car crashes. When you crash on the front left or right side of the car, the deformed car’s framework restricts the wheel from turning. This was the first time I saw such realistic crashes in a game. Is that enough? Heck no! We want more!

The Better Deformation mod brings us just that; GTA 5 car crashes… but better! You have to see it to believe it.

08. Dismemberment/Gore

dismemberment/gore mod

I was disappointed when I noticed that GTA 5 was not as gory as it should have been. A game with no boundaries; a game filled with lust, murder and theft; how can they leave out gore? How dare they! Thanks to the dismemberment/gore mod, we can have that complete psychopath factor in GTA 5 that was lacking before!

07. Extreme Difficulty Health Realism

extreme difficulty mod

A lot of GTA 5’s audience is children; how can we teach our children that getting shot a thousand bullets still won’t kill you? Get the extreme difficult health realism mod and show your kids guns aren’t all that fun! A single bullet can send you to God almighty! (This was satirical, don’t buy your underage kids GTA 5 please).

06. Sitting Mod

mod to sit on bench

Doesn’t it grind your gears that NPCs get to sit on benches but your character only gets to rest his behind in the car? Will we let that happen? Heck no! Get the sitting mod and let your character sit anywhere he wants and get the rest he desperately needs. Gotta show them NPCs who’s the boss.

05. The Human Needs Mod

human needs mod

GTA 5 doesn’t quite actually have that ‘human needs’ factor that GTA San Andreas had. We could go to the gym, bulk up, over-eat or starve. I guess Rockstar considered it a waste of time, so your character in GTA 5 doesn’t need the basics of human life. The human needs mod will provide a shred of humanity to your main character in GTA 5, with cravings and needs that you have to fulfil.

04. Redux mod

redux mod gta 5

GTA 5 has pretty great graphics as is, but if you have a beast of a gaming rig and want GTA 5 look something out of the year 2030, get the Redux mod ASAP. This mod highly enhances the textures and makes your game look mesmerising. It is a pretty demanding mod, so make sure your PC can handle it before downloading it.

03. Gang Warfare mod

gang war mod

One thing that disappointed many GTA fans, with the release of GTA 5 was that gangs of Los Santos were completely dissolved. Rightfully so, GTA 5 takes place in the 21st century and you can rarely find gang bangers in this day and age. Since when did Rockstar give a crap about realism anyways? In a game where your character is basically the terminator with a car running on air and never runs out of fuel? Get the Gang Warfare mod and bring back the GTA San Andreas charm back to GTA 5.

02. Army Spawns

army spawn mod

Although not realistic, but a lot of fun, the Army Spawns wanted level mod, makes you the most wanted criminal in all of Los Santos at 5-star wanted level, with an army of soldiers on your tail ready to gun you down. From army helicopters to tanks, there is no way out! It’s incredibly fun and challenging.

01. Realistic Driving V

realistic driving mod

The main thing that GTA IV got recognition was for the realistic driving in it. Although GTA 5 has pretty amazing driving controls compared to many open world games released after GTA 5 (I’m looking at you Watchdogs 2) but it didn’t quite match the level of GTA IV driving. In the realistic driving V mod, you can say it’s a pretty great driving experience.

Conclusion:

We all have to agree, GTA 5 vanilla came as a masterpiece, but you know as they say, “ There’s always room for more”. Rockstar gave the room and the modders supplied the ‘more’… does that make sense? I hope it does.

Note that you aren’t restricted to using only a single mod at a time, so let’s go gamers, combine different mods and create an immersive experience in GTA 5 to suit your needs and enjoy the game to its maximum. I hope you enjoyed reading this post.
