There’s nothing more dangerously addictive than a well-made collectible card game.

And Blizzard’s Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is one of the best online card games in existence. Like all card games, Hearthstone is turn-based, and involves players using their deck to bring their opponent’s health down to zero.

The starting deck is composed of useful cards, but if you’re going to get far in Hearthstone, you’re going to have to get those rarer cards. You can purchase card packs using real money, or, alternatively, you can buy them using farmed in-game gold. Quests and special events also hand out those rare cards every once in a while, so you can still build a considerably powerful deck without reaching into your bank account.

There are near 700 unique cards, with more on the way. That’s a whole lot of possible card combinations, which means you can customize your playstyle to your heart’s content.
