[Top 10] Rocket League Best Players In The World Right Now

Rocket League Best Players
2021 RLCS North American Champions, Team NRG!

The best of the best!

Rocket League burst onto the scene as a free-to-play game back in summer 2015. The idea was relatively simple with flying cars playing with a metallic-looking football. It looked like a unique game that would give us a break from the battle royale meta, but very few could have predicted the success it would have achieved. Why would it be so special, right?

Just a year into its launch, Psyonix decided to enter the Esports scene in April 2016 with its first RLCS tournament which would pave the way forward for elite players to pop up. Let’s look at the top 10 Rocket League players as of today.

10- Alpha54

Rocket League Professional Alpha54

A rising European French talent. Alpha54 burst onto the scene in 2018 making him one of the youngest talents in Rocket League. He’s a part of Team Vitality and has achieved a lot of success with winnings of around $185,904.

Alpha’s offensive talent is probably as good as any other player on this list, but his defense may still be lacking a bit. Still, he can take a shot anytime, anywhere, and score. He’s a fantastic striker to have on your team, and he will definitely be a one to watch in 2022 with his pace and accuracy.

His most recent achievements include winning the RLCS Season X - European championship with team Vitality by beating team BDS 2:0 and the Intel World Open - EMEA Regional Finals for France by beating the Dutch 3:1.

RLCS Season X - European Championship - 1st ($160,000)

Intel World Open - EMEA Regional Finals - 1st ($22,000)

9- Sypical

Rocket League Professional Sypical

Yet another rising young talent makes his way into the list! Sypical is an American Rocket League player born on August the 5th, 2003. He paved his way into the professional scene at the tender age of just 14 yrs old, now that’s what I call a prodigy! He’s a part of Spacestation Gaming already and has collected a cool $178,592 in winnings already.

He’s calm, cool, and collected. Sypical is one of those players everyone wants on their team just for the great all-around effort and skills he brings to the team. It’s safe to say he’s only going to get better and better as he gains more experience.

His most recent achievements include coming as a runner-up to NRG in the RLCS Season X - North American Championship by losing 2:0 and winning the RLCS Season X - Spring: The Grid NA by beating G2 Esports 4:3.

RLCS Season X - North American Championship - 2nd ($80,000)

RLCS Season X - Spring: The Grid NA - 1st ($18,500)

8- Violentpanda

Rocket League Professional ViolentPanda

Another popular name in the community, Violentpanda is one of the more experienced players on this list. Born in 1998, he’s been active in the esports scene since 2015. Violentpanda is a European Dutch pro who has recently moved to The Flying Dutchman from Dignitas. A lil known fact about him is that, apart from turbopolsa and kaydop who have won it 4 and 3 times respectively, he’s the only player to win the RLCS twice. His years of experience have gained him a whopping $302,173 in winnings.

Violentpanda is a well-known badass of the game. He’s had a few years off recently, but he’s coming back to form strongly in 2021. You’d struggle to find players with his experience who are still going strong in the game.

His most recent achievements include winning the RLCS Season 9 - Europe with team Dignitas who beat Team Vitality 4:2 and finishing 3-4th in the RLCS Season 8 - Finals after losing to none other than Team Vitality 3:4. Revenge must’ve tasted sweet for Violentpanda and Dignitas.

RLCS Season 9 - Europe - 1st ($96,397)

RLCS Season 8 - Finals - 3-4th ($40,000)

7- Arsenal

Rocket League Professional Arsenal

Arsenal is an American rocket league player at just 19 years old. He started at just 16 years of age, so he’s one of the younger talents on this list. Arsenal burst onto the scene in 2018 and his charismatic character allowed him to catch the headlines real quick! He’s now a stellar member of the well-known team Spacestation gaming. You wouldn’t believe his winnings are already at around $172,563 at such a young age! Talent is talent!

He’s been really impressive at recent events such as the North American Championship and the Season X Fall Major to name a few. He’s not only a fantastic player with crazy skills, but he has a personality to match it! He’s loud and charismatic, very well known for being an entertainer too. His most dangerous asset is his ability to just on the fly, literally, and deal with unconventional situations. So, you could say he’s got a load of plays in his arsenal, pun intended.

His most recent achievements include losing out in the RLCS Season X - North American Championship finals to NRG by 0:2 and winning the RLCS Season X - Spring: The Grid NA against G2 Esports by 4:3.

RLCS Season X - North American Championship - 2nd ($80,000)

RLCS Season X - Spring: The Grid NA - 1st ($18,500)

6- Turbopolsa

Rocket League Professional Turbopolsa

Fun fact, Turbopolsa was originally called Turbo! Until he decided to add Polsa at the end which is a traditional northern Swedish dish. He’s a 23 years old Swedish player living in the United States. Turbopolsa is a part of the successful team Envy and has been active as a pro since 2015. Highly experienced and old in the game, he’s collected around $422,110 winnings over his time.

One thing that sets out Turbopolsa from the competition is that he’s a proven winner. You’ll notice by watching him that his playstyle is more efficient rather than flashy and impressive, not to say that he isn’t impressive though, that would be a massive understatement. He’s been the key to victory for his team as he’s the only player to have won the RLCS on 4 separate occasions. He’s also the first player to earn 2 world championship MVP awards in RLCS season 4 and season 8. He’s still only 23, that amazes me.

His recent achievements include winning the RLCS Season 8 - Finals 4:3 against team Vitality and also winning the RLCS Season 8 - North America against the Pittsburgh Knights 4:0.

RLCS Season 8 - Finals - 1st ($200,000)

RLCS Season 8 - North America - 1st ($38,531)

5- Kaydop

Rocket League Professional Kaydop

Kaydop is the French teammate of Alpha54 on team Vitality. He’s already earned himself a massive sum of around $503,471 in winnings due to how long he’s been in the game since 2016 specifically. You’d be surprised just how many teams this man has represented! Kaydop has been a part of over 10 teams, including team Dignitas which he left to join team Vitality.

Obviously not your one-man team kind of player, Kaydop has shown he’s certainly a wanted asset by a lot of big-time teams in the Esports scene. You’d find it hard to ignore his skills if you were a talent scout too. Kaydop’s mechanical skills and eye for goal are mesmerizing to watch! Certainly, a talent that’s here to stay in the Esports scene.

His recent results include winning the RLCS Season X - European Championship with team Vitality 2:0 against team BDS and coming in 2nd place in the RLCS Season 9 - Europe, losing 2:4, to the team he left, team Dignitas. Ouch.

RLCS Season X - European Championship - 1st ($160,000)

RLCS Season 9 - Europe - 2nd ($66,397)

4- Squishymuffinz

Rocket League Professional SquishyMuffinz

Our first Canadian pro on this list! Squishymuffinz has been working his way to the top of the rocket league ladders since 2016. He’s currently a part of the prestigious NRG and has collected $382,248 in winnings over his career. Squishy wanted to become a pro footballer back in the day before his dream was quickly crushed due to him being diagnosed with asthma. But, he says rocket league gave him another chance to follow his dream in a similar way.

Squishy’s talent was very obvious to all his followers. The proof of this is how he was able to become only the 4th rocket league YouTuber to reach 1million subs. You need incredible skills and accuracy to reach those levels and his achievements speak for themself. Fun fact, did you know Squishy actually hates Muffinz? He calls them “just dry cupcakes”. I disagree personally.

His recent results include winning the RLCS Season X - North American Championship by beating Spacestation Gaming 2:0 and also winning the RLCS Season X - Spring: NA Major by beating G2 Esports 4:2. A Dominant display.

RLCS Season X - North American Championship - 1st ($160,000)

RLCS Season X - Spring: NA Major - 1st ($36,000)

3- M0nkey M00n

Rocket League Professional M0nkey M00n

From here on in the list, any one of these top 3 players can be considered the best. They’re just that damn good!

The French are really good at Rocket League. Another French player on the list coming in at number 3 is M0nkey M00n. Born in 2002, he’s very young and probably the best young player in all of Rocket League at the moment at just 18 years old. He’s already signed up with team BDS and collected a cool $160,767 in winnings.

His rise to fame in Rocket League has been ultra-quick and nothing short of impressive. Some fans don’t even recognize his name yet because of how fast he’s climbed the ladders. In only his 3rd professional year, he’s already the MVP of his team BDS. He’s their offensive and defensive tank, filling in at every position asked of him. We won’t be seeing another player of his meteoric rise anytime soon again.

His recent results include coming as a runner-up in the RLCS Season X - European Championship to team Vitality, losing 0:2 and dominantly winning the RLCS Season X - Spring: EU Major 4:1 against Solary.

RLCS Season X - European Championship - 2nd ($80,000)

RLCS Season X - Spring: EU Major - 1st ($36,000)

2- Jstn

Rocket League Professional Jstn

Jstn is an American rocket league player. If you haven’t heard the name Jstn yet, are you even watching anything Rocket League?! At just 19 years old, he’s already one of the all-time greats of the game having been active since the young age of 14. He’s reached the heights of joining and winning with the current champions NRG, collecting a respectable $367,880 along the way. Not too shabby.

Jstn is one of the most recognizable names in the game, but not mostly for his skills and achievements, would you believe it, but for That.One.Goal. Yes, that one. Arguably the greatest goal in all of rocket league history. Jstn isn’t only a fantastic team player, but he’s also a killer in the game as he always seems to be able to finish off games in style and win it for his team in stand-out moments. He’s a stand-out player in short. One of the most consistent and mechanically gifted, what a show-off!

His recent results include winning the RLCS Season X - North American Championship 2:0 by beating Spacestation Gaming and winning the RLCS Season X - Spring: NA Major 4:2 by beating G2 Esports.

RLCS Season X - North American Championship - 1st ($160,000)

RLCS Season X - Spring: NA Major - 1st ($36,000)

1- GarrettG

Rocket League Professional GarrettG

Another American on this list goes by the name of GarretG. At only 20 years old, he’s already conquered the Rocket League world in my book. He’s been active as a pro since 2015 making him so experienced even though he’s one of the youngest on this list. He plays for the newly crowned NRG having collected around $423,847 along the way.

Believe it or not, the best player in the world used to hate this game at first as he didn’t know you could do aerials and other really cool stuff. We were all there at one point. Obviously, that didn’t last too long. He’s a very loyal player, having stuck with NRG ever since he joined back in 2017. A few fun facts about GarrettG is that he’s the only player with over 1000 days with one team and the 1st player to achieve 100 RLCS series appearances and play 1500 career games. I think his records speak for themselves as to just how talented this man is. Technically, mechanically, and mentally second to none.

His recent results include winning the RLCS Season X - North American Championship 2:0 against Gamestation Gaming and also winning the RLCS Season X - Spring: NA Major 4:2 against G2 Esports.

RLCS Season X - North American Championship - 1st ($160,000)

RLCS Season X - Spring: NA Major - 1st ($36,000)
