[Top 5] GTA Online Best Supercars For Racing

Be the Rocket Man with these Supercars in GTA: Online

We’ve all been there, racing through the crowded streets of Los Santos, fighting for every inch with friends and annoying kids halfway around the world. Right when you think you’ll be blasting through the last checkpoint, a twelve-year-old comes blasting through in a ridiculous neon-green and orange Pegassi Tezeract sending you flying off into a ditch and that’s twenty-million in prize money gone in half a second. Save yourself some real-life bucks in broken controllers and stop rage quitting when you start racing the top 5 supercars in GTA online.

5. PEGASSI TEZERACT

If you can’t beat them, join them with the Pegassi Tezeract. At one of the fastest and most expensive cars coming in at $2,825,000, it’s no wonder why people are smoking you at every turn in your races.

Originally added in as part of the 1.43 Southern SA Super Sport Series update on March 27, 2018, it’s only been a few years but its popularity has only proven its racing capabilities. If you’re looking to be an honorable crook you buy at Legendary Motorsport, otherwise you can steal one from anyone not quite paying enough attention at the casino.

Why is this car awesome?

  • It clocks in at 125.50 mph (201.97 km/h)
  • Comes in at an 80 overall rating with a 100 for handling
  • Most expensive car in-game, easy flex points

4. ANNIS S80RR

The Annis S80RR is the endurance car you never knew you needed. With one of the highest acceleration ratings in GTA online, next time you pull up to a line you’ll be long gone while the rest of your competition will still be spinning their wheels. While its top speed isn't the fastest in-game, it still clocks in at 123 mph (197.95 km/h) leaving only the top of the top able to keep up.

Its surprisingly good handling and perfect aerodynamic shape keep it on the road even when there isn’t a road. It makes drifting a breeze with its rear-wheel-drive making sure you never really need to brake before an insane corner.

Originally added to the game as part of the 1.48 Diamond Casino & Resort update on July 23, 2019, and modeled off a cross between a Nissan R90C and Jaguar XJR-9 it’s no wonder it’s one of the most unique and stylish cars in-game.

Why this car is awesome:

Clocks in at 123 mph (197.95 km/h)

Impressive downforce leaving you stable and on the road during any race

Fully customizable at Los Santos Customs

Single-seat cockpit view - making you feel like the race car driver you know you are

Its competition set-up is only $9,550 making it only a liquor store heist away from being race-ready

3.   BENEFACTOR KRIEGER

With classic German-style engineering and a style that would make Batman jealous, the Benefactor Krieger comes in at 3. For those who don’t speak German, Krieger translates to warrior in English. You’ll certainly be the warrior of your next race when you unleash the 127 mph top speed and you’re six checkpoints ahead of everyone else.

Originally styled off a combination of Mercedes-AMG One, Audi R8 LMS GT3 it can be  purchased for $2,875,000 at Legendary Motorsport. You can sell at 60% of its original value but that is only if you buy it. This car is also fully customizable like most cars in GTA: online but with styling like this you won’t want to.

Why is this car Awesome?

  • Classic German super styling
  • Best handling to top speed ratio in-game
  • One of the lightest supercars to race in
  • AWD system

4. PROGEN EMERUS

Coming at number four on the list but still, number one on the leaderboard is the Progen Emerus. Sporting a $2,750,000 price tag it’s not a far shout from the Pegassi Tezeract. One key difference between the two is the RWD system means that while you’re drifting around a Tezeract you’ll be looking better while doing it.

First introduced into GTA: online in the 1.48 Diamond Casino & Resort update on August 15, 2019, it was meticulously modeled after the real-life McLaren Senna to provide better downforce, more acceleration, and the classic overengineered style that only McLaren knows how to make.

Why is this car awesome?

  • Top speed of 127.25 mph (204.79 km/h)
  • Full 7-speed gearbox to use the right amount of power at the right point in the race
  • Top-rated handling
  • RWD to make drifting around hairpin corners a breeze
  • High-resale value at $1,650,000

5.    VAPID BULLET

With the reintroduction of the bullet GT in GTA: Online, this car goes way back in the history of the series. Not only does it look like you’re driving history, you'll be winning races with the pedigree of a series spanning car.

First introduced in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas it was the third-fastest car at the time and still one of the fastest cars in GTA: online. Older fans of the game will notice an identical styling and handling from The Ballad of Gay Tony making it not only an easy car to drive but most importantly, to customize exactly to your racing style and budget.

There are probably some readers thinking, “wait, that’s barely a supercar in the game, why is it at number 5?” Well, dear reading it is at number three for these important reasons.

Why is this car awesome?

  • Only $155,000 from Legendary Motorsports makes it a steal that you can do anything with.
  • One of the cheapest supercars to modify in the game
  • Original paint job found in GTA: Online is based on the Les Man’s race from the 1960s
  • Easy to drive and easier to master
  • Rear engined and gearbox making it impossible to blow up if rear-end something in a race, well almost.
