If you find yourself wondering how you could move some flowers from one place to another on your island to make the garden of your dreams, the answer is actually pretty easy. The only thing you need to do is stand in front of the flower you want to pick and press A with your shovel in hand to carry it out of the dirt. In order to plant it in another place, you just need a 1x1 space and choose the plant option after selecting the flower from the menu in your pockets. You can plant flowers either with your shovel in hand or without it.
