[Top 3] Genshin Impact Best Nahida Builds That Are Powerful

Our cutest Archon, Nahida, sways on a swing with her fantastic idle animation.

Nahida joined us alongside Sumeru, making her the sweetest and most beautiful character in Sumeru and adding Dendro Archon to the game. Nahida showcases the power of being an Archon in the game. Let's discuss our beloved little Archon since her arrival, including her builds and every feature that makes her powerful.

What are Nahida's strengths, and what makes her so unique?

Nahida is a fantastic character, particularly for exploration. You can instantly gather various harvestable materials, such as fruits and flowers, by holding down her skill.   The skill cooldown is so short that you can repeat this action every 4 to 5 seconds.

Furthermore, Nahida is a catalyst user, which means that she attacks with elemental damage at a distance with every normal attack. Because she uses Dendro in every move, this feature greatly increases her strength and honours our Archon. Nahida can deal up to four Dendro damage blows to foes in front of her during a typical attack. After a short casting time, the charged attack deals AoE Dendro damage while using stamina. She descends in midair for her plunging attack, dealing AoE Dendro damage to every opponent in her path as it hits the ground.

Nahida's skill is one of her many powerful attributes. Upon activation, it marks up to 8 enemies with the Seed of Skandha and deals area-effect Dendro damage. Holding the skill increases Nahida's resistance to interruptions by bringing up the aiming mode, which lets her choose from a smaller pool of opponents. When the skill is released while in aim mode, certain enemies take Dendro damage and are marked with the Seed of Skandha. Within a specific range, marked enemies are connected.

Nahida can unleash TriKarma Purification when she triggers Elemental Reactions on marked enemies or when they take Dendro damage. This skill, depending on her attack and elemental mastery, deals Dendro damage to the afflicted enemies and all those connected. In a brief amount of time, only one TriKarma Purification can be initiated.

The Shrine of Maya is created by Nahida's Elemental Burst, the "Court of Dreams." Depending on the elemental types in the party, different effects are triggered when this field is activated:

  •  Pyro: While in the Maya Shrine, Nahida uses her elemental skill "All Schemes to Know" to deal more damage with TriKarma Purification.
  •  Electro: When Nahida is within the Maya Shrine, the interval between each TriKarma Purification is shortened.
  •  Hydro: The Shrine of Maya's duration has been extended.

These effects are multiplied if, at the time the field is deployed, two or more party members possess these elemental types. Crucially, as long as party members are inside the Shrine of Maya, these bonuses remain valid even when Nahida is not actively participating in the field.

Nahida's ascension abilities improve her combat abilities.

  • The Shrine of Maya gains a significant effect when she deploys Illusory Heart with "Compassion Illuminated" at Ascension 1. The active character in the field gains 25% of the Elemental Mastery of the party member with the highest Elemental Mastery, up to a maximum of 250 Elemental Mastery.
  • At Ascension 4, Nahida's "Awakening Elucidated" ability comes into play. Nahida gains a scaling bonus for TriKarma Purification from her Elemental Skill, "All Schemes to Know," for every point of Elemental Mastery beyond 200. This bonus consists of a 0.1% bonus DMG and a 0.03% CRIT rate. Elemental Mastery can grant Nahida up to an impressive 80% bonus DMG and 24% CRIT rate for her TriKarma Purification, significantly increasing her damage potential in battle.

Constellation 2 is her most important constellation, and it is relatively easy to obtain. Since it's Constellation 2, you can obtain it during reruns, making it accessible without overly challenging requirements. "The Root of All Fullness'' takes Nahida's skills to new and amazing levels. Aside from being vulnerable to Burning, Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon Reaction DMG with the bonus of obtaining CRIT Hits, opponents marked by Nahida's Seeds of Skandha also suffer from a fixed CRIT rate of 20% and CRIT DMG at 100%. The effects of Quicken, Aggravate, and Spread cause DEF to drastically drop by 30% in just 8 seconds. This constellation not only increases Nahida's damage potential but also introduces strategic elements through the use of various reaction effects, transforming her into a formidable force on the battlefield.

We've only scratched the surface of Nahida's strengths. Now, let's dive into the realm of best builds and team synergies. Discovering the optimal combination of our archon with the right team and build is key to unlocking Nahida's true potential. Let's journey together to harness her power in ways that go beyond the ordinary.

Nahida Hyperbloom

Nahida's Hyperbloom: Unleashing floral fury with breathtaking elegance and elemental mastery!

Nahida's Hyperbloom: Unleashing floral fury with breathtaking elegance and elemental mastery!

Nahida is best for creating Dendro Cores. With Dendro Cores on the field, you will simply need an Electro character who can periodically deal Electro damage to trigger the Hyperbloom reaction. The Electro character will need to stack Elemental Mastery stats.

To trigger Hyperbloom, initiate the process by generating Dendro Cores through Bloom and subsequently applying Electro to them. The telltale sign of a successful Hyperbloom reaction is the launch of a Dendro Bloom Core onto the enemy.

Talent Priority

For this specific team composition, the ideal Talent Priority is Elemental Skill > Burst > Normal Attack.

When using Nahida off-field, the Talent Priority should be as follows: Elemental Skill > Burst > Normal Attack. Nahida's Elemental Skill takes precedence as it serves as her primary damage source and is crucial for optimal performance. The skill is especially significant when Nahida is off-field, contributing substantially to damage output.

In various scenarios, Nahida's Elemental Burst plays a pivotal role, providing buffs to on-field characters. As such, it holds importance in support or sub-DPS roles. Depending on your available resources, you might need to make choices based on your preferred playstyle. If you plan to use Nahida as an on-field trigger after casting her Elemental Skill, prioritising Burst before Normal Attack can be beneficial. Conversely, if Nahida functions primarily as an off-field support or sub-DPS, then prioritising Burst after Elemental Skill aligns with this usage.

This Talent Priority ensures flexibility based on your playstyle and resource constraints, allowing you to optimise Nahida's performance accordingly.

Character Details

The team is built for maximum Hyperbloom synergy, with Al-Haitham as the DPS. Nahida reduces enemies' Dendro resistance, increasing the damage of Al-Haitham and Hyperbloom. Kuki triggers Hyperbloom and assists Al-Haitham in Quickening and Spreading. Begin the rotation with Nahida's Shrine of Maya, then Yelan and Kuki's abilities. Al-Haitham then uses the characters' chemistry to his advantage.

Nahida is an essential member of the Hyperbloom team because she is a skilled debuffer who can break through opponents' Dendro resistance to deal more damage with Hyperbloom reactions. Nahida's rotation begins by marking enemies and activating her Shrine of Maya, laying the groundwork for a coordinated assault and maximising Hyperbloom synergy.

Yelan is a vital member of the Hyperbloom team, using her burst to unleash a powerful Hydro surge. This not only damages enemies but also strategically sets the stage for Hyperbloom. Yelan's Burst provides the team with a valuable damage boost, significantly increasing the overall effectiveness of the Hyperbloom strategy.

Kuki plays a crucial role in triggering Hyperbloom and supporting Al-Haitham's offensive capabilities, especially in enhancing Quicken and Spread reactions. Kuki's Elemental Skill becomes a linchpin in aiding Al-Haitham's reactions, adding depth to the team's offensive capabilities.

Al-Haitham is the primary DPS for the Hyperbloom team, maximising damage potential through the strategic use of debuffs and reactions. Al-Haitham's execution, which capitalises on the synergies created by Nahida and Kuki in Hyperbloom scenarios, drives the team's success.

Substitute Characters

Kuki

  • Subs: Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Fishcl
  • Yae, Raiden, and Fishcl can all trigger a hyperbloom reaction off-field. They require elemental mastery if you want to use them as off-field trigger characters.

Yelan

  • Subs: Xingqiu
  • Xingqiu and Yelan are both doing the same thing with their bursts. Xingqiu, on the other hand, does not provide attack buffs like Yelan does.

Al-Haitham

  • Subs: Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun
  • Details: In this team setup, you can use them as the main DPS. You can also use Nahida as your main DPS; therefore, consider adding another Dendro character to your team for Dendro Resonance.

Nahida - Nilou Bloom

Nahida and Nilou Bloom: An inseparable duo, weaving elegance and elemental brilliance!

Nahida's Dendro application is currently unmatched, making her the best Dendro Support/Driver with Nilou, who procs Bloom one after another. Because Nahida's Dendro application is so powerful, this team needs a strong Hydro applicator (Nilou). The resonances between characters are also beneficial to the team. Hydro resonance is necessary for enhancing the HP of the whole team. Especially Dendro resonance

Nahida's constant Dendro damage makes her ideal for generating Bountiful Cores in a Nilou team. You should bring a healer because Nahida has the potential to kill herself given how quickly she can create Bountiful Cores.

Nahida's synergy with the Nilou Bloom team unlocks impressive sustained damage potential through seamless character rotations and consistent Bloom procs. However, this high-risk, high-reward strategy demands the inclusion of at least two 5-star characters, making it resource-intensive. Additionally, the team proves less effective against Dendro-resistant enemies, necessitating strategic considerations in certain encounters.

Talent Priority

In the Bloom team composition, we can prioritise Talent in the order of Elemental Skill > Normal Attack > Burst. This approach considers Nahida's role in frequently triggering spread and bloom reactions, making Normal Attacks crucial alongside her Elemental Skill. Adjustments based on available resources may be necessary.

Start with Nahida's Burst and use her skill on your enemies to create an effective team strategy. Use Collei's Skill and Burst for Dendro Shred as a backup. To produce a Hydro Aura, activate Kokomi's Elemental Skill and utilise Nilou's Elemental Skill three times. Quickly switch to Nahida and spread more Dendro for more blooms and stronger elemental reactions with her Normal Attack.

Nahida’s skill and burst are crucial in this situation; give them priority if you want to deal sustained damage. Nilou's powerful Hydro application emphasises the necessity of an on-field Dendro character, and Kokomi reserves her healing for key moments. Within the team dynamics, this brief sequence guarantees peak performance and fundamental synergy.

Nahida's Dendro application is currently unmatched. She is the BEST Dendro character you can put in an ideal Bloom team. Unlocks Dendro Resonance with Collei

Nilou is the best hydro applicator and damage dealer in Bloom teams. There is a reason why everyone refers to Bloom teams as "Nilou Bloom." Her ultimate and skill are excellent choices for constant bloom procs.

You must have a powerful healer because the Blooms inflict damage on your characters as well. Kokomi fits in here with ease. Her skill is also an excellent Hydro applicator. Unlocks Hydro Resonance with Nilou.

Using the entire Deepwood Memories set, Collei can apply Dendro shred. Her Dendro application is also great. Unlocks Dendro Resonance with Nahida

Substitute Characters

Kokomi

  • Subs: Barbara
  • Details: Barbara is also good with some healing and hydro application with her skill. If you don't have Kokomi, then Barbara is an F2P choice for this bloom team’s hydro healer support.

Collei

  • Subs: Dendro Traveler, Yayao
  • Details: Dendro Traveler is a direct replacement for Collei since they have similar kits. Yaoyao can also be a replacement since she can heal too, but she will have less Dendro application.

Or you can play with three Hydro characters plus Nahida. ( Nahida - Nilou - Yelan / Xingqiu - Kokomi ) But Dendro resonance could be more powerful competitively.

Nahida Quicken (Aggravate/Spread)

Nahida's Quicken: Accelerating the battlefield with elemental finesse!

The primary goal of this team is to efficiently trigger Quickening for Spread and Aggravate reactions, showcasing the synergistic combination of Dendro and Electro characters. With two Dendro and two Electro members, the team benefits from bonus Elemental Mastery (EM) and Energy Recharge (ER) through resonance.

On-field Nahida Quicken teams focus on optimising Nahida's attacks, utilising her Normal and Charged Attacks alongside her Skill and Burst to trigger Spread reactions. Simultaneously, they drive off-field Electro units to initiate Aggravate reactions.

Off-field Nahida in Quicken teams contributes by applying Dendro effects and providing buffs for Electro teammates to consistently trigger Aggravate. Nahida's A1 enhances the on-field character's reaction damage, and maximising A4 is typically recommended.

The primary distinction between on-field and off-field Nahida Quicken teams lies in the inclusion of an On-field Electro/Dendro unit in the off-field Nahida teams.

Talent Priority

In crafting this particular team synergy, the optimal Talent Priority unfolds as Elemental Skill takes the lead, closely followed by Burst and Normal Attack sharing the spotlight. With Nahida predominantly positioned off-field, the emphasis on Normal Attacks adds a captivating layer, contributing to the dynamic reaction spreading within the team.

Character Details

Al-Haitham and Yae Miko can deal powerful damage as long as Dendro-Electro reactions are triggered. Yae Miko's turrets benefit from the EM bonus from Dendro Resonance & Nahida's Burst. Start with Miko’s elemental skill three times, then switch to Nahida, mark enemies with her skill, and burst to open the shrine of Maya. Then Kuki and Al-Haitham will be on the show.

Yae Miko's turrets intermittently deal Electro damage. With Kuki as a battery and the Electro Resonance, Yae Miko conveniently accumulates energy for her Burst, which requires 90 energy.

Kuki plays a crucial role in supporting Al-Haitham's offensive capabilities, especially in enhancing Quicken and Spread reactions. Kuki's Elemental Skill becomes a keystone in aiding Al-Haitham's reactions, adding depth to the team's offensive capabilities.

To keep the Dendro application going, boost the team's Elemental Mastery (EM), and increase the damage that the Aggravate and Spread reactions do, Nahida is a necessity. When C2 is unlocked, marked enemies have reduced DEF when triggering Dendro-Electro reactions, amplifying the team's overall damage output.

Substitute Characters

Yae Miko

  • Subs: Fishcl
  • Details: Fischl can be used instead of Yae Miko. Keep an eye on Oz and track its downtime on the field.

Kuki

  • Subs: Dori, Beidou
  • Details: Dori can heal, and Beidou can shield your allies. But they’re not as effective as Kuki Shinobu.

Al-Haitham

  • Subs: Keqing, Tighnari
  • Details: Both can be used as main DPS. They work well with aggravate, and spread reactions.
