8. Gorou

• Elemental Burst turns Normal Attacks into Wide Range Geo DMG.
• Naturally high DEF.
• Shield can recover HP for all characters.

6. Fischl

Fischl is often used as a battery for Electro characters. However, this doesn’t make her only useful for that role. She can recharge energy for any element, thanks to her elemental skill, Oz. Oz also deals noticeable damage off-field, and can be reset and repositioned just by using her burst. Fischl and Oz never disapoint.

5. Diona

4. Sucrose

Everyone loves Venti or Kazuha. Well, everyone loves a character that can crowd control enemies while buffing your team. Here’s your budget 5-star then. Sucrose’s whole kit is based on putting enemies together, increasing Elemental Mastery, and causing Swirl reactions to deal damage while controlling their positions. An alchemist + battle strategist, you may say.

• Fantastic crowd control similar to Venti

3. Xiangling

Now on the podium, we find the so-called National Team. These are the support characters that no late-game Genshin player can live without. We start with Xiangling, the cook from Liyue. Just her Pyro resonance is a good reason to use her. But if we also take into account her wide burst that infuses Pyro, recharges energy, and increases Pyro damage, you HAVE to take her.
