[Top 5] FF14 Best Bard Glamour Set

FF14 Best Bard Glamour Set
Because Bards can server more than sass in their glamours

Hello Bards!

You know what bards are known for? Yes, yes— the singing and storytelling is an obvious choice, but there is something else! Our flare.

Have you seen an under-dressed bard? No, I thought so!

Now, with all of our flamboyance, we do tend to run out of new creative ideas— especially for our glamour. So, why not take a look through Eorzea Collection?

They have more than enough inspiration to go around! If you really like a glamour, then you should check out the ‘where I can find it’ section!

1 Venomous

( Picture above belongs to Lyn Saikuma from server Light )

Sass and that mean-girl spirit just oozes from this glamour. Is this a vibe— yes. It’s the perfect description of the love-and-hate relationship that a bard player has with itheir job. I certainly would be flaunting this glam… however.

I do have heart-breaking news: this isn’t male bard friendly. I know it was probably obvious from the get-go. But— hey, if those other female-locked dresses could lose their locks, it’s time to rally behind this dress.

Free the dresses, Yoshida!

Where Can I Find This?

Head Piece: Ivalician Fusilier’s Mask

To find the Ivalician Fusilier’s Mask, you’ll have to run the The Royal City of Rabanastre.

The Royal City of Rabanastre—

If you're relatively new to Final Fantasy XIV, this is only unlockable after some point in StormBlood. Now, what if you completed Stormblood, but you still haven’t unlocked it? Don’t worry— Zane Lionhart has you covered! He made a video fully explaining and showing how to unlock this raid.

What about the coffers? What are the chances of having the mask drop? Well, the mask has a chance of dropping in two coffers.

Body Piece: Neo-Ishgardian Top of Aiming

To find the Neo-Ishgardian Top of Aiming, you’re gonna have to do leatherwork..

Leatherwork—

I’m not going to make a list explaining how to get materials for crafting items. If I do, this article is going to be super, super long. So… why not do the next best thing?

Why not use ffxivcrafting or ffxivteamcraft— these are the go-to's for anything crafting related! You could buy it off of the player’s market. But, on universalis, the cheapest one sold at the moment of writing is 125,948 gil.

Hand Piece: Idealized Fili Armlets

2 GBF Sidewinder Class

( Picture above belongs to Loe Vaen on server Light )

Appearly, this is a cosplay from a game called Granblue Fantasy, and from its art, the outfit is on spot! That is one thing about Final Fantasy XIV. If you have no idea about what to glamour, you can always look to another game!

If you like a certain outfit, you can most certainly recreate it. By the way, guys… this is 100% dude friendly!

This only drops in one treasure coffer at the last boss. And if you’re thinking about buying it off the player’s market— you can’t.

Feet Piece:  Augmented Greaves of Aiming

Unidentified Allagan Tomestone & Rowena Token of Soldiery—

The unidentified stone is obtainable through the Second Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 2-4. You just need one of those stones. If you don’t know how to unlock this raid, Zane Lionhart has made a video showing and explaining it.

The Rowena Token of Soldiery can be traded for with an NPC. Mithrie has a video on how to trade everything— and, most importantly, the NPC to go to.

3 Wandering Mercenary

( Picture above belongs to Lysian Leios on server Chaos )

Hey— we can’t alway be serving sass and flamboyance! We like to look cute at times too. What I really love about this glamour is the long scarf— never knew there was something like that in Final Fantasy XIV.

This is perfect casual glamour for bards. However, there’s something that the girl bards need to know about… Those long blue-jeans transform into booty shorts for girls.

Where Can I Find This?

Body Piece: Moonward Vest of Aiming

To find the Moonward Vest of Aiming, you have to participate in ShadowBringer and Endwalker’s hunts.

ShadowBringer and Endwalker’s Hunts—

The main thing you’re looking for when taking these hunts are the sack of nuts. You need 120 of them before trading them in.

Guildship Hunt and Nutsy Clan Hunt both give out  the sack of nuts; if you click on the links, it shows and explains how to unlock these hunts. The vendors you can trade with are J’lakshai in Old Sharlayan ( X: 11.9, Y: 13.2 ) and Wilmetta in Radz-at-Han ( X: 10.5, Y: 7.4 )

Hand Piece: Bozjan Armguards of Aiming

To find the Bozjan Armguards of Aiming, you must trade-in to the Resistance Supplier.

Resistance Supplier ( X: 15.3, Y: 29.8 )—

Before you can even think of trading with the supplier, you’re going to need Bojzan coins. Luckily, Jaysos has a video showing how to grind for them. You’ll need at least 14 of them.

Leg piece: Weathered Fili Bottoms

To find the Weathered Fili Bottoms, you have to go to the merchant shop in The Tempest.

The Merchant Shop—

As you process through Shadowbringer’s story, you unlock The Tempest. The most important quest-line you need to do ( which you will regardless) is the physical DPS role quest. From that point, you’ll have to go to The Macarenses Angle and talk to Grenoldt.

After you complete his quest— bam, you’ll get the leg piece.

Feet Piece: Exarchic Boots of Aiming

To find the Exarchic Boots of Aiming, you’re gonna have to do leatherwork.

Leatherwork—

Why not use ffxivcrafting or ffxivteamcraft— these are the go-to's for anything crafting related! You could buy it off of the player’s market.

But, on universalis, it shows the cheapest one sold— at the moment of writing this— was 32,550 gil.

Weapon Piece: Antiquated Failnaught

To find the Antiquated Failnaught, there’s two ways: Storyteller’s Attire Coffer and Salvanger.

Storyteller’s Attire Coffer & Salvanger—

The attire coffer is obtainable through the level 70 of the bard’s quest-line. Now if you already got rid of that piece, there is still a way to get it back.

You can buy the gear from the calamity salvager: they're in Limsa Lominsa Upper Deck ( X: 11.3, Y: 14.3 ), Old Gridania ( X: 10.0, Y: 8.4 ), and Ul’dah Steps of Thal ( X: 12.6, Y: 13.1 ). The only thing you need is 1,000 gil.

The Jewelry

If you’re interested in the jewelry glamour, you should check out the Wandering Merchant’s page.

4 Forest Bard

( Picture above belongs to Plu Patredis on server Chaos )

Ok. We have to admit— the simple, traveling bard look is an oldie but a goodie. Not all bards can be warriors.

A lot of us just want to strum on the string while singing a tale. Sadly, this is something that will only work on the girls.

Where Can I Find This?

Head Piece: Pagos Circlet

To find the Pagos Circlet, you’ll have to go into the Eureka Pagos

Eureka Pagos—

When you go in, you need to watch out for the Pagos Lockbox and Cold-warped Lockbox. Now, what if you don’t have Eureka open? Or you don’t know how to go about this content.

Work to Game has a video talking about what it is and giving tips.

Body Piece: Weathered Fili Gilet

To get the weathered fili gilet, you have to go to the merchant shop in The Tempest.

The Merchant Shop—

As you process through Shadowbringer’s story, you unlock The Tempest. The most important quest-line you need to do ( which you will regardless) is the physical DPS role quest. From that point, you’ll have to go to The Macarenses Angle and talk to Grenoldt.

Hand Piece: Dhalmeskin Halfgloves of Crafting

To find the Dhalmeskin Halfgloves of Crafting, there are vendors you can visit.

Vendors—

There are side-quests that you could get the gloves from, but I imagine you don’t want to waste any time. There are four NPC that sells these gloves:

  • Norlasie in the Pillars ( X: 7.1, Y: 10.1 )
  •  Emptier of Purses in The Churning Mists ( X: 28.4, Y: 34.1 )
  • Mogmul Mogbelly in The Churning Mists ( X: 15.9, Y: 28.5 )
  • Moogle Mender & Merchant in The Churning Mist ( X: 20.6, Y: 26.3 )

Just remember to bring some gil!

Leg Piece: Southern Seas Skirt

To get the Southern Seas Skirt, you’ll have to do some weaving.

Weaver—

Why not use ffxivcrafting or ffxivteamcraft— these are the go-tos for anything crafting related! You could buy it off of the player’s market.

But, on universalis, it shows the cheapest sold— at the moment of writing this— was 136,502 gil.

Feet Piece: Aoidos’s Thighboots

To find the Aoidos’s Thighboots, there’s two ways: Centurio Seals and Aoidos’s Attire Coffer.

Centurio Seals and Aoidos’s Attire Coffer—

You get centurio seals in Clan Hunts and The Hunt. The articles linked shows and explains how to unlock them— if you haven’t. Once you get 70 centuiro seals, you can trade them in for the boots.

The NPC you need to go to is Yolaine in the Foundation ( X: 13.0, Y: 11.8 ). There is a coffer you can get through the level 60 bard quest-line.

5 Realm of Dreams

( Picture above belongs to Lyn Saikuma from server Light )

At times, even a flashy bard can be elegant. This glamor even has this softness to it— truly living up to the White Mage name.

Sadly, this glam will work only for girls.

Where Can I Find This?

Head Piece: Veil of Eternal Passion

To find the Veil of Eternal Passion, you’ll have to buy it from Mog Station.

Mog Station—

Now, this is going to work slightly differently from other things bought from Mog Station. If you already know what I’m about to say, here’s the link. Normally, you buy this when you want to marry someone in Final Fantasy XIV.

But you can still obtain this veil without getting married. You just start the ceremony mission and— when you get what you want— leave it unfinished.

Body Piece: The Forgiven Tabard of Aiming

To find the Forgiven Tabard of Aiming, you must run Mt. Gulg.

Mt. Gulg—

This is a level 79 dungeon that you unlock through the main quest of Shadowbringers. This drops in only one treasure coffer. You can not buy this off the player’s market.

Hand Piece: Loyal Housemaid’s Wristdresses

To find the Loyal Housemaid’s Wristdresses, you’ll have to buy it from Mog Station.

Mog Station—

To get this, you must buy the Loyal Housemaid’s Uniform Attire set.

Leg Piece: Gambler’s Trousers

To find the Gambler’s Trousers, you’re going to have to spend time at the Golden Saucer.

Golden Saucer—

When you play events and mini-games, you get something called MGP. These are points you can trade-in to a NPC; before you can trade those points in, you need 40,000. Jolsn has a video that gives tips about how to grind MGP.

Once you get enough, you go to the old Saucer Attendant ( X: 5.1, Y: 6.6 ). If you don’t know how to open the saucer, Zane Lionhart has a video covering how to.
