[Top 25] CSGO Players With The Best Aim (OP Accuracy)

CSGO Players with the best aim
CT with beautiful AWP skin trying to find someone's head to aim at

For all the strats and for all the mind-games, if one can’t place the crosshair on the enemy’s head (or body, if you’re an AWPer, or just a bad player… or both), is there even a point of playing an FPS? In honor of the invaluable advice of “dude, just aim and kill, easy bro git gud”, I have for you the 25 best aimers in the CS:GO world.

25. cadiaN

The guy who climbed it twice.

Casper “cadiaN” Møller is a 26-year-old AWPer and IGL for Heroic. He’s had a rather interesting career trajectory. After rising through the ranks with multiple teams, he started to wane very early in his career. All the way up from mousesports, he started getting demoted bit by bit through various Danish player-shuffles. Soon he found himself jobless and he became an analyst instead. Though he never got to stay in most teams for more than two months earlier in his career, now he found himself in a mid-level team as he found a job again. He climbed the CS ladder all over again and finally ended up as Heroic’s heroic AWPer and IGL.

He’s performed well so far and led Heroic to some heroic victories. He has an overall rating of 1.13 in 2021 with an extremely good Deaths Per Round which is as low as 0.6.

24. HEN1

The one with CS in his blood… almost literally.

Henrique “HEN1” Teles is the Brazilian AWPer for O Plano (retirement home, I guess). That is probably not the greatest first impression for the 26-year-old but his time with FURIA and his individual brilliance is undeniable. Similar to the Kovacs (NiKo and HuNter), HEN1 too has genetic ties to Counter-Strike. He has a twin brother, LUCAS1 (no prizes for guessing his real name), who is a CS:GO professional too. In the same team, at that (Lucas has a neck tattoo, though, so don’t worry). If that wasn’t amazing enough, he also has an older brother, “pbf1”, who’s another Counter-Strike pro. Blessed immensely with the Counter-Strike genes, he is best known for his flashy playstyle with the AWP. His accuracy and reads are out of this world. He is, as they say, truly “sick with the AWP”.

23. arT

The aggressive genius of arT.

Andrei “arT” Piovezan is a 25-year-old AWPer for FURIA. His name suits perfectly his playstyle, for his aggressiveness, irrespective of the opponent, is a form of art. Though his recent performances have slumped, his overall influence is huge and he remains a key figure in the FURIA camp with a 1.04 rating overall and an astonishing 1.25 Impact – the highest on FURIA.

22. syrsoN

The master AWPer in syrsoN.

Florian “syrsoN” Rische is a 25-year-old AWPer for BIG. His story is rather amusing. He was exceptional at Counter-Strike as a kid but soon lost interest and stopped playing. His mouth fell wide open when he discovered that there are people who play the game professionally. He right away decided that being a CS Pro is going to be his career choice for bread. He started working hard at improving and it didn’t take long for him to be noticed. As fate would have it, he has grinded and crawled his way into the highest echelons of Counter-Strike, finding himself in the company of some of the most elite and gifted humans the CS:GO world has witnessed.

21. Hobbit

The veteran master of Gambit.

Abay "Hobbit" Khassenov is a rifler from Kazakhstan with a very interesting career trajectory. Soon after winning the major with Gambit back in 2017, he left for HellRaisers but after Gambit’s slump and a fall into irrelevancy, he was signed back by Gambit last year.

The 27-year-old’s stats may be rather silent but his guidance to the youngsters of Gambit has not gone unnoticed. Gambit is now at the top of the world and is amongst the front-runners to win the Major this year.

20. stavn

The Danish prodigy... heard that before?

Martin Lund, the young Danish prodigy is making Heroic look great this season. stavn has pulled many clutches out of his hat this season. Since Heroic plays strongly as a unit, no single player trumps the others in stats but this rifler’s game speaks for itself, beyond stats. He still has an impressive 1.09 rating, though.

19. huNter

The talented yet overshadowed brother.

Nemanja Kovač is a rifler and the cousin of NiKo. The two brothers both play for G2 and both have been phenomenal so far. With a rating of 1.12 and an ADR of 80.8, he has repeatedly proved himself more than just a shadow of his shared blood. His average damage per round and kills per round are top-grade and are only narrowly beaten by his brother. In the past two LAN events, 15 months apart, huNter has played a crucial part in G2’s run to the grand finals. In both events. Losing only to the almighty s1mple. Both times.

18. dupreeh

The veteran loyalist of Astralis.

Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen is the 28-year-old rifler/secondary AWPer of the legendary team of Astralis. The Counter-Strike veteran is an incredible team player who can fit into a wide range of systems, all while maintaining a great individual level. He’s been on Astralis even before Astralis was born – playing alongside some of his teammates in Team SoloMid, the predecessor of Astralis. His trophy cabinet is a thing of beauty and awe and given Astralis’ new recruits, it is only expected to grow.

17. Magisk

The one who got kicked from North… and then went on to win 3 consecutive Majors.

Emil “Magisk” Hoffmann is a 23-year-old rifler (lurker) for the Astralis. The spray god was the final piece of the puzzle for Astralis, for after the addition of Magisk, Astralis blew through the roof. They went on to win 3 consecutive Majors with Magisk, becoming the Real Madrid of CS:GO. Without all the cheating, of course. Astralis’ flights have stooped a bit lower after the transfer of star AWPer dev1ce but with their latest addition, they are ready to aim for their fifth Major.

16. broky

The young boy in the veteran clan.

At just 20, Helvijs “broky” Saukants, a Latvian, has become the AWPer for FaZe Clan. Despite their historic slump in the online era where they fell out of the top 35, broky has stayed strong individually. The young player has a very high ceiling and he proved anyone who thought otherwise, wrong, with his performances in the recent LAN event, IEM Cologne 2021. FaZe came in through the play-ins and reached the semis by defeating the likes of Vitality, Heroic, and the then-world-number-1, Gambit. His 1.14 in the last month speaks for itself. He is one of the players-of-tomorrow to watch out for.

15. EliGE

dupreeh of Liquid, only without all that success.

The star, loyal, veteran rifler in Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski has plied his trade for Team Liquid for 6 years now. And he still is 23. Having been played with the likes of s1mple, Hiko, Twistzz, and now FalleN, he has seen it all and he has fought for it all. In their era, Team Liquid was the best of the rest by a mile, being beaten only by Astralis’ golden age. Having lost a Major final and being one of the frontrunners for many others, especially in 2019, EliGE has seen and suffered a lot, despite being extraordinary. This year, under the captainship of FalleN, EliGE has improved a lot and with an astonishing rating of 1.16 in 2021, he is all out to win that elusive Major trophy.

14. degster

Degster. Enough Said.

Abdul “degster” Gasanov, the Russian AWPer for Team Spirit, has teamed up with mir for great individual and collective performances. With a rating of 1.19 and an extremely good Deaths Per Round, it has been quite a task to kill this man this season. Add to that his 0.76 kills per round and the fact that he’s only 19, you get one hell of a star-of-tomorrow in your hands!

13. Jame

The long-haired genius of Jame.

Dzhami Ali is another Russian AWPer who has helped Virtus Pro punch way above their weight. Not only is he a great AWPer, but he also is the IGL for VP. Very few match his Deaths Per Round of 0.54 and with a rating of 1.19 in 2021, he hasn’t given many a chance to write him off the books of the best players in the world right now.

Major Tournament Achievements (Recent):

12. Twistzz

The reborn Scream.

Russel Van Dulken is a Canadian rifler plying his trade at FaZe Clan currently. He famously played with Liquid and contested for the majors strongly for years. Individually, his numbers are gigantic. With his high headshot percentage, he has forced his way into the history books, standing alongside the Scream and a few others for the heftiest numbers.

Despite FaZe Clan’s famous fall out of the top 20 (top 35, at that), Twistzz rating and individual performances remain high with a 1.13 rating in 2021. In the first LAN, Twistzz and FaZe Clan proved all haters and doubters wrong with their extraordinary performance that saw them end up in the top 4 of the tournament. They defeated the likes of Vitality, Heroic, and Gambit! Not only that, they even climbed from rank 38 before the tournament to an astonishing rank that they most definitely deserve: 6.

11. electronic

Another selfless, overshadowed star.

Denis Sharipov is a rifler for NaVi and a great one, at that. s1mple’s sidekick has played second fiddle for all his career but his numbers have remained strong and unignorable. With a 1.11 rating in 2021, the clutch-iest but the most inconsistent player on the NaVi roster crawls his way into this list. He also had number 5 rank in 2020’s HLTV players, so it’s only fitting for the Cologne winner to find his number here.

Major Tournament Achievements (Recent):

  • IEM XVI Cologne 2021t ($1,000,000):

10. blameF

The big-muscled big-brained big-aimed IGL. Wait… what is he not?

The star IGL and rifler in Benjamin Bremer serves and leads the team of Complexity. Contrasting his imposing physicality, blameF is a goofy, fun, and positive character in the team. This guy’s heart is bigger than his muscles, with him regularly praising his former team, teammates, and fans. On the server, he is yet bigger than that. He bagged a #6 finish in HLTV’s Top 20 Players of 2020. And with good reason. His otherworldly 1.18 rating in 2021 completely justifies his ranking and his praise. He is probably the best fragging IGL in the CS:GO scene right now, and being only 22 years old, he has no plans of slowing down.

Major Tournament Achievements (Recent):

9. dev1ce

The master of them all.

The figure of myths, the legendary Danish, Nicolai Reetz was at the forefront in the most dominant run the Counter-Strike scene had ever seen. Astralis had powered through the years and won 4 out of 6 majors. Thanks to all their strats but dev1ce’s individual brilliance was something to be blindly relied on when the going got tough. His vast trophy cabinet and personal riches are untouched by any non-Astralis player.

Yet, he’s moved on from that era. He plies his trade for NIP now and even after this major change, he maintains an astonishing rating of 1.14. More importantly, he’s significantly risen the levels of his teammates with his majestic presence.

8. ax1le

Another rising youngster. Russian, yes.

Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov is a Russian CS:GO rifler. Alongside sh1ro, he is another cog in the wheel that keeps Gambit running on the path of success. He has a 1.20 rating in 2021 and is another young superstar for the new generation of CS:GO.

Major Tournament Achievements (Recent):

  • BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2021 ($425,000)

7. mir

Partner-in-crime for degster

Nikolay “mir” Bityukov is a Russian rifler playing for Team Spirit. The former Gambit player’s individual stats are top-notch. He has an astonishing rating of 1.21 in 2021 and an ADR of 85.1, beating the likes of zywOo and NiKo. He even rivals the untouched player of 2021: s1mple. He has been instrumental in all of Team Spirit’s wins this season.

Major Tournament Achievements (Recent):

6. b1t

The reborn Twistzz. What? The reborn reborn ScreaM? The final salvation for s1mple, I guess.

Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi is a rifler in NaVi who has risen through the NaVi ranks, impressing in NaVi Junior and then going on to replace flamie. He is as close to greatness as his face is to his screen. He is touted as the next big thing in the CS:GO world and an heir to s1mple’s majestic throne. At only 18 years of age, his headshot percentage is off the charts, competing closely and frequently beating the likes of Twistzz and the famous headshot god, ScreaM, himself. Needless to say, he’s leading the Headshot Percentage charts for 2021.

Playing a crucial part in NaVi’s emphatic victory in his first-ever LAN in IEM Cologne, his presence and consistency (as opposed to the allu-level flamie) will be key going into the Major for NaVi.

5. ropz

The one doing the ultimate carryjob: the genius in ropz.

Robin Kool is a mousesports rifler who has stepped up immensely after karrigan’s departure. While everyone had dismissed mousesports, this Estonian’s step-up has shocked the world, and his 1.20 rating speaks for itself. With ice in his veins, his best pops out when he’s under immense pressure. He is the sole reason why mousesports are still relevant in the community today.

4. NiKo

The most consistent player in always-coming-close-to-being-the-best-in-the-world-but-never-being-one (but being the best rifler multiple times).

Despite having neither the flash of s1mple nor the explosiveness of sh1ro, this Bosnian-Herzegovinian rifler has been in contention for the world’s best player for years now and has multiple times been the best rifler in the world (2020, for example). His headshot percentage and clutch statistics are eye-watering. After his slight slump into irrelevancy in the online era, he shone brightly on the first LAN event in the cathedral of Counter-Strike, reached the grand finals, and proved that he still is the best rifler in the world.

He leads G2 currently with a rating of 1.16 alongside his cousin, huNter.

3. sh1ro

The explosive youngster of Gambit.

The 20-year-old Russian, Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov, has climbed from a no-one status to one-of-the-best-in-the-fields status in 2021. Sh1ro’s explosive gameplay mirrors Gambit’s explosive emergence on the scene. His unstoppable rise with Gambit in the online era was barely slowed down in Cologne as they showed real promise to go deep or heck, just win it.

Donning a ridiculous opening kill ratio of 2.19 and average rating of 1.24, this young AWPer seems to have no intentions to slow down. Literally. Because he has the best Deaths Per Round number in the top tier CS:GO scene right now: 0.51.

Major Tournament Achievements (Recent):

  • BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2021 ($425,000)
  • IEM Season XVI – Summer ($250,000)
  • IEM Season XV - World Championship ($1,000,000)

2. zywOo

The golden, chosen one.

The French prodigy, Mathieu “zywOo” Herbaut, has had the world at his feet for quite a few years. His sudden emergence on the scene and a direct reach for the #1 spot, beating the ever-consistent s1mple to it, has catapulted him to extreme heights of fame. His team’s slump in form has put a temporary blemish on him, but truth be told, zywOo is the reason Vitality is still in the top 10. With a 1.24 rating in 2021, he remains one of the best players in the world.

Major Tournament Achievements (Recent):

  • BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 ($425,000)
  • IEM XV - Beijing Online: Europe ($150,000)

1. s1mple

“1 in his name, number 1 in the game”

Hailed as the purest GOAT by many, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is a Ukrainian AWPer for Natus Vincere. When he’s in the mood to trigger his CS:GO wrath, there are no matching forces to stop him. The be-all-end-all can be all he wants to be – AWPer, Rifler, heck, even just a pistol – and decide to end all that comes his way. With consistency that has been jaw-dropping for over half a decade, he has always found a way to drop a jaw while he plays for that 16th round.

With NaVi finding newborn power and stability with the emergence of b1t, s1mple finds himself and his team on the cusp of eternal greatness, with the Major around the corner. After putting one of the greatest individual performances in the cathedral of CS:GO – Cologne 2021 – he has powered through all the odds to replace the misplaced crown that he lost to zywOo in 2020.

Oh, did I mention? He has a 1.35 average rating in 2021. A number that would be anyone’s career highlight is the average for this smurf – smurfing against the Top 10 teams in the world.
