[Top 5] Apex Legends Best Catalyst Loadouts

Apex Legends Best Catalyst Loadouts

5. Hemlock + Mastiff

One of the best loadouts in the game for most legends right now is none other than the Hemlock paired with the Mastiff. The Hemlock is a beast at long and medium-range gunfights, mainly due to its high damage per bullet and minimal recoil, but it's also got a huge magazine size thanks to its Boosted Loader Hop-Up.

The Mastiff is a fantastic close-range option, with a high burst potential and a forgiving shot pattern.

These two guns fit Catalyst’s play style perfectly, as she wants to be versatile at all ranges. Yeah, she wants to be able to sit back and shoot squads, but Catalyst is all about holding down ground. You need good close-range damage as well to protect your team in tense gun fights.

Loadout Details:

  • Hemlock
  • Mastiff
  • Red Armour
  • Shield Batteries
  • Medkits
  • Shield Cells
  • Syringe
  • Gold Bag, Helmet and Knockdown

What the Hemlock // Mastiff Loadout Excels in:

  • Close-range high damage potential thanks to the Mastiff
  • Great longer range potential as well thanks to the Hemlock
  • Pairs well with Catalyst's abilities as she wants to be versatile depending on her wall and her tactical

4. R-301 + Peacekeeper

Another fantastic loadout is the R-301 and Peacekeeper. Both guns are highly consistent with most players, are easy enough to kit out and work well with Catalyst playstyle. Catalyst wants to be able to close in on her targets and pin them down with her abilities, which makes the R-301 a great choice.

It has high damage with a high fire rate and no recoil. She can burst someone down then pin them in an area for a clean up with the high damage per shot Peacekeeper.

Loadout Details:

  • R-301
  • Peacekeeper
  • Red Armour
  • Shield Batteries
  • Medkits
  • Shield Cells
  • Syringe
  • Gold Bag, Helmet and Knockdown

What the R-301 //  Peacekeeper Loadout Excels In:

  • Simple to use set-up, limited recoil and easy-to-use guns
  • High damage per shot with the Peacekeeper works well playing around her wall for pop shots
  • Finally, you can burst down targets then rush in thanks to the R-301 and its insane damage and ease of use

3. CAR SMG + Peacekeeper

Catalyst is a defensive legend at the end of the day, so you need to be playing around her wall, tactical and passive ability. Each of these needs close-range guns to use correctly, which is why the CAR and Peacekeeper loadout does so well on her. You can burst foes down with the extremely versatile CAR SMG, then rush in and clean them up with the Peacekeeper.

You can use Catalyst’s wall to manoeuvre around foes, use her tactical to hold down space and use her passive to block doors ready for your opponent's breach. These two guns work so well for that playstyle, so check them out.

Loadout Details:

  • CAR SMG
  • Peacekeeper
  • Red Armour
  • Shield Batteries
  • Medkits
  • Shield Cells
  • Syringe
  • Gold Bag, Helmet and Knockdown

What the CAR SMG // Peacekeeper Loadout Excels in:

  • Insane close-range damage potential
  • Very versatile when it comes to ammo as the CAR can use both light and heavy
  • Finally, both guns are super easy to kit out thanks to having limited attachment choices between them

2. Wingman + R-99

A classic combination for any close-range player is of course the Wingman and R-99 combo. Even after multiple changes to both guns over the years, this combination stays as one of the best in the game for a few reasons.

The R-99 saw a recent nerf to most of its stats, most importantly though its magazine size was lowered considerably. This means it's much less reliable for those one clips, but it's still a great gun in the right hands. This paired with the Wingman means you have all ranges covered and insane damage in them all.

Though the Wingman can be used at long range, it's perfect for Catalyst as once your wall goes up you need to make every shot count. Landing a few Wingman shots on your enemies will surely do some damage.

Loadout Details:

  • Wingman
  • R-99
  • Red Armour
  • Shield Batteries
  • Medkits
  • Shield Cells
  • Syringe
  • Gold Bag, Helmet and Knockdown

What the Wingman // R-99 Loadout Excels In:

  • The Wingman is a fantastic longer and medium-ranged gun, especially with the Skull Piercer hop-up attached, so you have all ranges covered.
  • The R-99 still destroys at close range if you can hit your shots
  • You will have a lot of movement with these guns, so nothing will hold you back.

1.Alternator + Peacekeeper

Finally, we have the best weapon combination for Catalyst right now in season 18, and that of course the Alternator and Peacekeeper Combination. These two guns are just insane. The praises for the PK have already been said, but the Alternator is no joke now.

This gun has great damage, an excellent ammo economy, limited recoil, is easy to kit out and has one of the best Hop-Ups in the game with the Disruptor Rounds. The Alternator does insane burst damage, making it great for Catalyst as she needs to make each second shooting count. Enemies will only mess up around her abilities once, so Catalyst needs to make that time count.

Loadout Details:

  • Alternator
  • Peacekeeper
  • Red Armour
  • Shield Batteries
  • Medkits
  • Shield Cells
  • Syringe
  • Gold Bag, Helmet and Knockdown

What the Alternator // Peacekeeper Loadout Excels In:

  • The alternator is a great all-around weapon so it can be used at longer ranges
  • The Peacekeeper is perfect for aggressive Catalyst players as you can deal great damage around her abilities
  • Use both guns with Disruptor Rounds to destroy enemy shields for an easy kill or to instigate a game-winning push.
