With such a wide variety of landscaping tools, New Horizons has the potential for the greatest orchards in the series. No longer are players limited to lining their trees with flowers and patterns. This is a list of ten creative orchard layouts created by players.

10. Katie Wilson’s Orchard

Katie Wilson’s orchard has a basic design. Each of the trees is lined into rows based on their fruit. Brown sidewalks surround the trees for the player to walk around the orchard.

9. Poke Crossing’s Orchard

This and the previous are similar in quality. Charlotte, the user’s name, made a basic orchard but used a cobblestone floor pattern in place of a solid brown color. There aren’t any fences surrounding the exterior of the orchard.

8. Cotton Lace’s Aesthetic Orchard

This orchard takes the simple designs of the previous orchards and adds realism elements. Puddles lie on the ground as tree sap oozes from the bark. Barrels are empty but serve to contain fallen fruit. The pavement is made of dark, grey stones.

7. Sara Elizabeth Haga’s Orchard Treehouse

Instead of being a functional orchard, Sarah Elizabeth Haga built a wonderful treehouse using elevated land. She decorated the property with lots of oak furniture. The surrounding fruit trees cannot be accessed by the player without terraforming.

6. pocket of fish’s Mini Orchard

Instead of making a sizable orchard to store lots of fruit trees, this user aimed to make a mini orchard that balances function and design. Brick walls line the entrance as the trees fill the interior. The right edge is covered with a picnic blanket and orchid flowers. From there on, the ocean can be enjoyed by the player while eating fruit.

5. electrey’s Aesthetic Orchard

This YouTube user renovated her neighbor’s yard into a natural orchard. Many bridges connect the orchard’s land separated by rivers. Small, brick pavement lines the apple trees. There's a quaint, wooden chair to sit in as well.

4. Kelsadelphia’s Market

Kelsadelphia's orchard stacks the trees on elevated plots of land. Each plot is a two by two area that contains a different fruit variety. A long farmer’s market lines the sidewalk across from the orchard.

This orchard uses space to its advantage. While the orchard has lots of trees, none of them feel packed together. There is a wooden table for eating fruit along with a silo for fruit storage. The pavement placement adds to the appeal.

2. Fleur’s Crossing Apple Orchard

This orchard is similar to the mini orchard by the beach. However, all of the trees bear apples. The tables are covered with plaid, green cloth. A booth with a jar of apple cider lies behind the tables. A single gnome rests atop a box of apples.

Many of the best elements of the previous orchards are here. There is a beautiful pavement that leads to a wooden bridge. The bridge sits at the banks of a large waterfall. Wheelbarrows surround the trees for when the fruit falls.
