Although the word normal may seem ordinary, Normal Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are very sweet, kind, and friendly. They are the most chill bunch within the personality types and give compliments and have an all-around down-to-earth style. With the normal type villagers being so lovely to the player and the other villagers, it's very hard to choose favorites. 10. Gala

"Still Water Runs Deep."

With baby blue eyes and blush-colored cheeks, the precious pink pig Gala is an adorable villager. Gala can be seen wearing the Flower-Print dress that matches the flowers on her head. With the education hobby, Gala can be seen wearing rimmed glasses while sitting under a tree outside with a book in hand. Her birthday is on March 5th.

• Gala's home is creatively designed as a bank. This is most likely a reference to her being a pig and, well, piggy banks. The wallpaper used is the Stately Wall and the flooring is the Light Wood-Pattern flooring.
• Gala is featured on the album cover of K.K. Mariachi.

9. Kiki

"Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained.."

Resembling the infamous black cat Jiji from the animation film Kiki's Delivery Service by Hayao Miyazaki, here is Kiki the black cat winning the hearts of players. With big yellow eyes and bright magenta ears, this gorgeous feline is perfect for any spooky theme village. Kiki has an education hobby just like Gala, and most normal villagers so you can find her around town reading books under trees. Kiki's birthday is on October 8th.

• Kiki's home is very simple with Ironwood furniture and orange and brown earthy tones with the Mod Wall and Simple White flooring.
• On the official Japanese Animal Crossing website, Kiki ranked 20th in the popularity contest.

8. Fauna

"The First Step is always the hardest."

With charming doe-eyes, Fauna is a brown deer that is a lovely villager to have in the town. Fauna can be seen wearing her Bohemian Tunic Dress. Her hooves are yellow and her ears are pink. Fauna has a nature hobby so she can be seen studying books of bugs, fossils, fish, and flowers depending on the item she is near. Her birthday is on March 26th.

• Fauna's home is filled with natural earthy tones of Wooden furniture. The wallpaper used is the Red-Brick Wall and Mint Dot Flooring.
• Fauna shares a birthday with the Jock Gorilla, Louie.

7. Tia

"Tea is a cup of life."

Always ready for a tea party, Tia the elephant is quite a distinct villager. Her head resembles the shape of a porcelain teapot, decorated with blue flowers. Tia wears a maid outfit and prefers elegance in her home. Tia has a nature hobby so she can be seen studying books of bugs, fossils, fish, and flowers depending on the item she is near. Her birthday is on November 18th.

• Tia's home resembles a simple Cafe with a Teaset, a Menu Chalkboard, a Double Sofa, and a Garden Table. The Curtain-Cafe Wall and the Brown Iron-Parquet Flooring are used to give off a lovely cafe look.
• Chai, another villager, is an elephant just like Tia who balances a teacup on her head.

6. Molly

"Like water off a duck's back."

With her big black eyes and her precious duck beak, Molly the brown mallard duck is a villager that is an absolute joy to have around. She wears a bright lime green Pintucked-Pleated Dress. Molly has a nature hobby so she can be seen studying books of bugs, fossils, fish, and flowers depending on the item she is near. Her birthday is on March 7th. 

• Molly's home is filled with natural earthy tones of Wooden furniture. Her wallpaper is the Lattice Wall paired with the Light Herringbone flooring. She even has a Violin!
• K.K. Ballad can be heard playing on the yellow Cute Music Player in Molly's home.

5. Skye 

"Love makes the world go-'round."

Skye, the only normal personality wolf villager, has sky blue and white fur which resembles a beautiful cloudy day. She wears a white Peasant Blouse that has blue embroidery. Skye has a music hobby so she can be seen around the town singing alone or in the plaza with other villagers with the same hobby. Her birthday is on March 24th.

• Skye's home is filled with lighter tones of light-colored furniture. Her wallpaper is the Blue Heart-Pattern Wall paired with the Simple White flooring.
• On the album of Cafe K.K., Skye is featured on the cover!

4. Étoile

"Who knows what the stars have for us?"

With lavender wool, bright yellow horns, and pastel polka dots all over, Étoile truly graces us with her kawaii presence. This precious sheep wears a Kiki & Lala Tee as her overall look is based on the Sanrio characters Kiki & Lala. Étoile has a music hobby so she can be seen around the town singing alone or in the plaza with other villagers with the same hobby. Her birthday is on December 25th.

• Étoile's home is filled with Kiki & Lala furniture, wallpaper, and flooring. Her home color-schemed is pastel Fairy-Kei. Stars, Rainbows, and everything in between for the kawaii dream home!
• Étoile was a part of the exclusive Sanrio Amiibo pack. Unfortunately, she can only be invited to the island if her amiibo is scanned.

3. Merengue

"Life is a piece of cake."

Designed like a strawberry dessert, Merengue is too cute to not have on your island. This lovely rhinoceros has a horn that looks like strawberry and the top of her head is white like whipped cream. She wears a red and white Chef's Outfit and has a Lacy Parasol. Merengue has a nature hobby so she can be seen studying books of bugs, fossils, fish, and flowers depending on the item she is near. Her birthday is on March 19th.

• Merengue's home is filled with polka dots from the Pastel Dotted Wall to the Mint Dot flooring. 
• K.K. Ballad can be heard playing on Merengue's Portable Radio.

2. Coco

"Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today."

Coco has a reputation for being creepy and mysterious, but with her normal personality, she is very kind and sweet. Her look is based on the haniwa which are clay-based figures from the Yayoi period. She is a rabbit with hollow eyes with contributes to her spooky look. She wears a beige Layered Tank Dress. Coco has an education hobby so you can find her around town reading books under trees. Her birthday is on March 1st.

• Coco's home is filled with stone furniture with Rammed-Earth Wall and Floral Rushed-Mat flooring. 
• Every Rabbit villager's ears can move but Coco's ears are stiff perhaps to represent her body being made out of clay.

1. Marina

"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Being the only female octopus, and with only 3 octopus villagers in the entire game, Marina is one of the rarest villagers and most sought out. With a bubblegum pink appearance and bright yellow cheeks, it's no wonder why Marina is so popular amongst fans. Marina wears her Dreamy Sweater which is a color block sweater with pastel pinks and blues with shooting stars and clouds. Marina has a music hobby so you can find her serenading around the town alone or with other villagers with the same music hobby. Her birthday is on June 26th.

• Marina's home has a very pink theme with cute furniture. Her wallpaper is the Strawberry- Chocolate Wall and Berry-Chocolates flooring. 
• On the album of K.K. Rally, Marina is featured on the cover.
