Xiao is an Adeptus, whose original name is Alatus, and the only known remaining member of the five Yakshas dispatched by Morax (or Zhongli). He resides in Wangshu Inn and loves food.

He’s an Anemo Polearm character and his role is DPS. Xiao is also one of the best Genshin Impact’s DPS, alongside Hu Tao, Ayaka, or Ganyu. We love him so much that we decided he deserved an article about his 3 best teams!

3. Xiao, Sucrose, Xiangling and Bennet

Xiao is the DPS of the team. The DMG of his Elemental Burst is maximized by the rest of the team members. Also, Xiangling’s Pyro DMG is Swirled by Xiao.

“What does it mean?”, don’t worry Paimon, let me explain it to you!

• Xiao’s Burst allows him to do consecutive Plunge Attacks which deal a wide AoE Anemo DMG. His normal attacks deal a lot of DMG too so he can still deal DMG when he doesn’t have his Elemental Skill or Burst.
• Sucrose provides an Elemental Mastery bonus to the team and increases Swirl’s DMG. Honestly, this bonus is my favourite one among all of them. 
• Xiangling’s Burst just provides a lot of DMG at backstage. You have to use her Elemental Skill before you use Xiao’s Burst, so Gouba can deal DMG while Xiao jumps.
• Bennet, our beautiful boy, increases Xiao’s ATK with his Elemental Burst and, at the same time, heals him. Xiao needs to have a healer or shielder since he loses HP when he uses his Elemental Burst.

2. Xiao, Sucrose, Fischl and Zhongli

With this team, Xiao’s Elemental Burst is maximized by his teammates. As the last team, Fischl’s Electro DMG is Swirled by Xiao. 

This team doesn’t have a healer for Xiao and we said healers are important for Xiao, but don’t worry, it really doesn’t matter for this one! Let me explain.

• Xiao has a lot of Energy Recharge because of Sucrose, so he can use his Burst almost every time. You have to remember that, when he uses his Burst, he transforms his normal DMG into Anemo DMG, so he’ll deal a lot of DMG.
• Sucrose provides an Elemental Mastery bonus to her team members and her Swirl DMG is increased. We could say that she plays a Burst DPS role. Also, she acts as a battery for the recharge of Xiao’s Elemental Burst.
• Fischl’s Elemental Skill and Burst apply Electro DMG at backstage when Xiao uses his Elemental Burst. It’s very important to use her before Xiao’s Burst.
• Zhongli’s shield keeps his party members, and increases the ATK of the whole team by using the full set of Tenacity of the Millelith. His Elemental Burst is perfect for Xiao because it keeps enemies petrified while Xiao uses his Burst.

1. Xiao, Raiden Shogun, Bennet and Zhongli

And we’re finally here! This is what we decided is the best team for Xiao! This team rolls around Xiao and his DMG since everyone in the team maximized his DMG!

Yes, this is a team for Xiao’s lovers and people who think he deserves everything.

• Xiao’s Elemental Burst allows him to do consecutive plunge attacks, which deal a lot of AoE Anemo DMG. Xiao is switched to Raiden Shogun when the Elemental Burst is in CD so she acts as a Sub DPS and Support at the same time.
• The DMG of Raiden’s Elemental Burst depends on the energy consumed by her team members when they use their Elemental Burst. She can boost Xiao’s ER by using her Burst, and increases the DMG of teammates’ Elemental Burst.
• Bennett’s Elemental Burst increases all party members’s ATK and heals them. As we said, healing is very important because Xiao loses HP when he uses his Burst.
• Zhongli’s shield keeps save all party members and increases their DMG. As we said too, Zhongli is a very good support for almost every Genshin Impact’s character.
