Kamisato Ayato is a Hydro character in Genshin Impact. He is the current head of the Kamisato Clan, the older brother of Kamisato Ayaka, and the Yashiro Commissioner.

A well-known fact about him is that he's extremely busy and stressed, as he has to deal with corrupt government officials while juggling his duty as the leader of the Shuumatsuban.

3. Shimenawa’s Reminiscence 

Shimenawa’s Reminiscence is an Artifact Set available at 4-star and 5-star rarities which can be obtained from Momiji-Dyed Court in Inazuma. 

Its 2-Piece Bonus increases ATK by 18% and its 4-Piece Bonus, when casting an Elemental Skill, if the character has 15 or more Energy, they lose 15 Energy, and ATK DMG is increased by 50% for 10s. 

Reasons to use this set:

• Even if Ayato is a Hydro character that can be a Support, he can still be a DPS and his normal attacks are very important. This set is perfect for a DPS Ayato.
• You can obtain Hydro DMG from the Goblet so his Elemental Skill and Burst can still do a lot of DMG. We recommend using a character like Mona or Bennet to buff even more his Burst and normal attacks’ DMG.
• The best weapon for this build is the Blackliff Sword, a 4-star weapon that can be obtained in Paimon’s Bargains. Its 2nd stat is CRIT DMG and after defeating an opponent, Ayaka’s attack will increase by 12% for 30s (it has a max of 3 stacks).

2. Heart of Depth

Heart of Depth’s 4-Piece Bonus increases normal attack and charged attack DMG by 30% for 15s after using an Elemental Skill.

Reasons to use this set:

• Ayato’s Elemental Skill makes a copy of him and his normal attacks apply Hydro. This build is really useful if you’re going to use Ayato’s Elemental Skill and Burst and Support his teammates.
• Even if it’s focused on his Elemental Skill and his Elemental Burst, it’s always recommendable to have someone like Bennet, Xingqiu, or Xiangling in your team to increase that DMG.
• The perfect weapon for this set is Primordial Jade-Cutter, a sword that increases HP by 20-40% and provides an ATK Bonus based on 1.2-2.4% of Ayaka’s Max HP.

Echoes of an Offering is an Artifact Set available at 4-star and 5-star rarities which can be obtained from the Lost Valley Domain in The Charm.

Its 2-Piece Bonus increases ATK by 18% and its 4-Piece Bonus, when hitting an opponent, there’s a chance to increase ATK by 70%.

Reasons to use this set:

• When Ayato uses his Elemental Skill, it creates a copy of him and his normal attacks’ speed increases a lot., so it’s easier to apply the 4-Piece Bonus. This can be for a Support or a DPS Ayato.
• We recommend using characters like Diona, Ayaka, or Mona to keep applying Hydro and Cryo while you’re using Ayato’s Skill, so enemies can’t move from the area.
• The Mistsplitter Reforged is the best weapon for this build.
