Best Solo Perks, Dead By Daylight
COURTESY OF BEHAVIOUR INTERACTIVE FEATURING SOLO PERKS

Various Solo Individual perks are great for survivors who prefer to play solo during their games; however, this review will look at the most powerful and efficient perks to be used in the games for an increased win rate.

Now, let the fog reveal the best Solo Individual perks for the survivors:

5. Lucky Break

Lucky Break works whenever you are in the Injured State; Lucky Break activates: Suppresses your Pools of Blood and Scratch Marks for a maximum of 40/50/60 seconds, after which Lucky Break deactivates. Each 1 second spent healing another Survivor recharges Lucky Break by 1 second up to its maximum Effect duration. Lucky Break also deactivates whenever you are Healthy or in the Dying State.

It is a great solo perk as it will allow you to have great chances in chases against the killer, as it would suppress the blood and scratch marks, making it much easier to move around without having to be constantly chased by the killer, making it overall great for solo chases whilst the teammates are progressing with the generators in the game.

Advantages of using Lucky Break:

  • It allows you to suppress your pools of blood and scratch marks, which is very useful when trying to lose the killer and especially effective when having the killer out of sight, making it easier to escape.

Possible Disadvantages:

  • It can be useless in situations where either the aura has constant sight of the survivor or the aura of the survivor is revealed, making it easier for the killer to keep track.

4. Unbreakable

Unbreakable works so that once per Trial, you can completely recover from the Dying State. Your Recovery speed is increased by 25/30/35 %.

Unbreakable is particularly helpful whilst playing solo in the game. It will allow you to pick yourself up without having to have any help from your teammates, making it a very powerful perk that can save your life in the game.

Advantages of using Unbreakable:

  • It enables you to recover from a dying state, useful in situations where the killer is slugging the survivors, enabling you to pick yourself up and continue with the game.

Possible Disadvantages:

  • Future game updates will weaken this perk, as the game will allow survivors to pick themselves up without needing to use any perks.

3. Off the Record

Off the Record activates after being unhooked or unhooking yourself; off the Record activates for the next 60/70/80 seconds: Prevents your Aura from being revealed to the Killer if they attempt to read it. Suppresses Grunts of Pain when injured. Grants the Endurance Status Effect. This effect is cancelled prematurely if you perform a Conspicuous Action. Off the Record deactivates once the Exit Gates are powered.

Off the Record can be seen as one of the most powerful perks in the game due to having no aura revealed and granting endurance status effects which can avoid tunnelling, which is particularly useful when there are no survivors nearby.

Advantages of using Off the Record:

  • It will allow you to hide the aura after being unhooked, which is advantageous, especially when the killer has aura-revealing perks, which can be very useful in revealing survivors.

Possible Disadvantages:

  • It can be quite useless if the killer is nearby in the area and you are being slow-tunnelled; therefore, when the killer is waiting until the perk runs out, he can hit you. However, this can be avoided in effectively well-played games.

2. Adrenaline

Adrenaline activates once the Exit Gates are powered, instantly heal one Health State and sprint at 150 % of your normal Running Movement speed for 5 seconds. Adrenaline is on hold if you are disabled at the moment it triggers and will instead activate upon being freed. If playing against The Nightmare, Adrenaline will wake you from the Dream World upon activation. Adrenaline ignores an existing Exhaustion timer but causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.

Adrenaline is considered one of the most powerful solo exhaustion perks in the game because of its ability to heal you in one full health state, which can be powerful when in a chase with a killer, allowing you to get a headstart and escape. Recommended for solo chase survivors.

Advantages of using Adrenaline:

  • Very powerful during the end-game, especially during a chase, allowing you to heal yourself whilst injured and then to escape flawlessly whilst sprinting at 150% of my normal running speed.

Possible Disadvantages:

  • It can be a waste if you are in a mended status, which the perk wouldn't be able to heal you fully, but instead heal you from the mended to injured status, making it quite wasteful if not played efficiently.

1. Windows of Opportunity

Windows of Opportunity allows you to see the Auras of Breakable Walls, Pallets, and Windows revealed to you within 24/28/32 metres.

This is a perk that allows you to have a constant vision of objects that can be advantageous when in a chase with the killer, as there will be no time-loss, and you will be able to see objects that are either destroyed or not yet touched, which can be successfully used against the killer.

Advantages of using Windows of Opportunity:

  • It allows you to see the auras of walls, pallets and windows, which is particularly useful especially when in a chase with the killer, allowing you to see the most efficient looping areas without any hesitation and time-loss, making it quite a useful perk, especially for beginner players.

Possible Disadvantages:

  • No great disadvantages, except perk waste for high-level players, where they have the idea and knowledge of all the areas of the map, making this perk quite wasteful in the slot.
