[Top 15] Genshin Impact Best Teams That Are Powerful!

We'll miss you Tomo...

Genshin Impact gives a lot of importance to the characters you play with, giving each of them carefully chosen abilities to create amazing kits. Their roles may also change depending on what they can and can’t do. It’s important to know who to use in your team.

In this guide, we’ll show you some of the teams that you can use, who are powerful enough to topple everything on Teyvat, and very easy to understand and use. From healers to DPS, shielders, and batteries. Everything you want in a team is here.

15. Ayato + Thoma + Yunjin + Bennett

This team has a fantastic DPS, two shielders, and a healer. Also, tons of buffs from these three supports. Yunjin’s burst increases damage from normal attacks, Bennett’s burst increases ATK, and Thoma’s burst creates flames that deal Pyro damage.

What is the strategy you should use? First, shield yourself with Thoma’s skill. Now prepare to unleash Yunjin’s burst, Thoma’s, and lastly Bennett’s. Now change to your DPS whose burst will deal Hydro damage in an area, and increase his damage with his skill. Now just see your enemies destroyed in Vaporize reactions.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Good DPS
  • Quick normal attacks
  • Damage dealt and ATK stat increased thanks to buffs
  • Healing from bennet
  • Double shield from Yunjin and Thoma
  • Off-field damage from Thoma’s burst
  • Pyro resonance increases ATK

Roles:

  • Ayato: DPS
  • Thoma: Shielder, Sub-DPS
  • Yunjin: Enabler, Shielder
  • Bennett: Enabler, Healer

14.  Eula + Zhongli + Albedo + Yae Miko

Albedo and Zhongli form a fantastic pair. Their shields and abilities mix well with each other. And the Geo resonance is, as always, the best resonance to aim for. Together with a powerful enabler like Yae and a DPS as powerful as Eula, this is an awesome team.

With Zhongli’s pillar and shield used, as well as Yae’s totems and Albedo’s flower area, the field will be ready. Eula with her claymore attacks will be the main damage dealer, but you have to remember that the rest of these characters have really powerful bursts, so use them when needed.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Every character has a powerful burst
  • Possible Superconductor reaction that decreases enemies’ DEF
  • Always shielding
  • Geo resonance active thanks to Zhongli and Albedo
  • Fast energy recharge from Miko’s totems

Roles:

  • Eula: DPS
  • Zhongli: Sub-DPS, Shielder
  • Albedo: Sub-DPS, Shielder
  • Yae Miko: Sub-DPS, Enabler, Battery

13. Zhongli + Albedo + Raiden Shogun + Eula

The best Geo duo is here again. We also find a character that hadn’t appeared yet, Eula, and another that was in lower positions, Raiden Shogun.

Starting with Baal’s skill, you should use Albedo and Zhongli’s skills and bursts. After that is the carry’s turn: Eula. After her elemental skill, her burst is in order, hitting enemies with basic attacks during the wait. After it’s finished, Baal’s passive will be completely charged and her burst will deal a lot of damage, recharging energy in the process.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Good DPS
  • Permanent shielding
  • Good passive damage (Albedo and Raiden Shogun)
  • Defense decrease in enemies

Roles:

  • Zhongli: Shielder
  • Albedo: Shielder
  • Raiden Shogun: Enabler and battery
  • Eula: DPS

12.  Xiangling + Bennett + Tartaglia + Kazuha

Here we have another burst team, repeating Xiangling and Bennet. This time Xingqiu changes to the Anemo swordsman Kazuha and Raiden Shogun changes to Hydro Tartaglia. We maintain the double Pyro, one of the best elemental resonances.

After Bennet, Xiangling, and Kazuha’s burst (for increased damage, vaporization, and resistance decrease) you should make Tartaglia take his melee stance and unleash his burst, killing all the enemies in the arena at once.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Strong vaporize reaction
  • Elemental attacks resistance decrease with Kazuha’s Viridescent Venerer artifacts
  • Damage increase
  • Healing
  • One of the best DPS in the game
  • Pyro resonance

Roles:

  • Xiangling: Enabler
  • Bennett: Enabler
  • Tartaglia: DPS
  • Kazuha: Enabler and sub DPS

11. Raiden Shogun + Kokomi + Yae Miko + Venti

In this team, we mix the Electro Archon with her familiar Yae, her “enemy” Kokomi, and her drunkard Anemo Archon friend. Raiden and her familiar will cause Electro resonance, and deal lots of passive electro damage to cause reactions.

These reactions will mainly be Electro-charged and Swirl. The Swirl will happen when all the enemies are trapped in Venti’s vortex, created after using his burst. Kokomi’s powerful healing attacks will do the trick for the other reaction. Together with Kokomi’s jellyfish and Yae’s totems, you’ll be prepared for all.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Raiden Shogun is the best burst-based DPS
  • Raiden and Yae have lots of synergy
  • Venti can CC the enemies fantastically
  • Fantastic mixed healing + DPS from Kokomi

Roles:

  • Raiden Shogun: DPS
  • Kokomi: Healer, Sub-DPS
  • Yae Miko: Battery, Sub-DPS
  • Venti: CC, Battery, Enabler

10. Hu Tao + Zhongli + Albedo + Xiangling

Two pairs of characters of different elements. In this case Pyro and Geo Resonances. Both elemental resonances are extremely good and increase your damage without any time limits or cooldowns. How to use this team?

Well, for starters Hu Tao has an extremely good DPS and is a great nuker as well. Xiangling is a great enabler for this carry: her first and sixth constellations decrease Pyro resistance and increase its damage. This, together with a double protective shield that prevents Hu Tao from dying, and Albedo’s passive damage, makes this team one of the best.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Strong DPS
  • Permanent shielding
  • Pyro and Geo elemental resonances
  • Albedo’s passive Geo damage

Roles:

  • Hu Tao: DPS
  • Zhongli: Shield
  • Albedo: Shield and sub DPS
  • Xiangling: Enabler

9. Jean + Xiao + Zhongli + Albedo

Two Anemo characters and two Geo characters. It seems a bit poor in variety but the continuous crystallization and shields paired with the Geo resonance improve damage by 15%. Moreover, having two Anemo characters increases your speed and decreases their cooldowns.

Your strategy should be placing Albedo’s elemental skill and activating Zhongli’s pillar and shield. After that, you can use Jean and Xiao’s elemental skills to charge their elemental burst and use them in succession. With Xiao jumping up and down in safe healing, he will be killing enemies non-stop.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Anemo and Geo elemental resonances
  • Jean’s healing
  • Permanent shielding
  • Difficult to die
  • Albedo’s passive Geo damage

Roles:

  • Jean: Healer and battery
  • Xiao: DPS
  • Zhongli: Shielder
  • Albedo: Shielder and sub DPS

8. Ayaka + Venti + Bennett + Tartaglia

Again we find Venti in this CC team, also known as the Anemo Archon (and the mob monster God…). As you can see, the character’s elements are really similar, so you can already guess the strategy will be similar as well.

In this case, we should use Bennet’s burst to increase our damage. After that, Venti’s burst to CC your enemies is important, just before Tartaglia’s burst (a great nuker and Hydro applier).  The only thing left is to spam Ayaka’s charged attacks, which can hit far away.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Strong DPS
  • Possible freezing
  • Healing
  • Good CC
  • Elemental attacks resistance decrease with Venti’s Viriscent Venerer artifacts
  • Damage increase

Roles:

  • Ayaka: DPS
  • Venti: Battery and CC
  • Bennett: Enabler
  • Tartaglia: Sub DPS

7. Ayato + Ayaka + Venti + Diona

Ayato and Ayaka are siblings from the Kamisato Clan. Both use the same sword arts, but their personalities have affected the Vision they’ve received: Cryo and Hydro. Together with another Cryo support and a CC-based Anemo support, this creates a fantastic freezing team.

Ayato’s burst can prepare the field for infusing Hydro. If you change to Ayaka, you can freeze every enemy and have your normal attack’s damage increased thanks to his buff. As for the supports, in case you need more freezing, shield, or healing, choose Diona. In case you need control, choose Venti.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Perma-freezing
  • Increase in damage to normal attacks
  • Good crowd control from Venti’s burst
  • Possible shielding and healing thanks to Diona
  • Double DPS from Ayaka and Ayato

Roles:

  • Ayato: DPS
  • Ayaka: DPS
  • Venti: CC, Enabler
  • Diona: Healer, Shielder, Battery

6. Ganyu + Xiangling + Bennett + Zhongli

You may think we are repeating characters, but you will see that a little modification changes the strategy and the gameplay completely. In this case, we can see the elemental reaction we are looking for is melting, and the strategy is the one that follows.

As always, Bennett’s and Xiangling’s enabler burst come first, as well as Zhongli’s shield. If your Ganyu has her burst charged you can start melting everything with that. If not, you can just start making your arrows explode in your enemies’ faces. Remember that melting doubles your damage (already increases thanks to Bennett) and with Ganyu’s huge DPS, this team wrecks really hard.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Permanent shielding
  • One of the best DPS in the game
  • Good elemental reactions
  • Pyro resonance

Roles:

  • Ganyu: DPS
  • Bennet: Enabler
  • Xiangling: Enabler
  • Zhongli: Shielder

5. Itto + Zhongli + Albedo + Gorou

This is one of the best teams, although at first glance it may not seem useful because you can only activate Geo Resonance once. However, thanks to Gorou’s abilities (and constellations) this team is possible.

Of course, Itto’s burst and normal attacks will be the main damage dealers. Albedo’s area and Zhongli’s pillar and shield are also useful. But the main power is Gorou’s abilities. If there’re lots of Geo in a team, he can increase Geo Damage, Critical Damage, DEF% and even heal your team!

What Makes This Team Great:

  • One of the most powerful DPS
  • Powerful CC burst from Zhongli
  • Albedo’s off-field damage
  • Tons of buffs thanks to Gorou
  • Three Geo constructs resonate with each other

Roles:

  • Itto: DPS
  • Zhongli: Shielder, Sub-DPS
  • Albedo: Shielder, Sub-DPS
  • Gorou: Shielder, Enabler, Healer

4. Ayaka + Kazuha +Albedo + Kokomi

Here we find my two favourite carry DPS: Ayaka and Kazuha. I won’t lie, I use this team as my main team. However, don’t panic, I’m still a professional writer and will analyze it objectively. I mean, I objectively think it’s the best.

After placing Albedo’s and Kokomi’s elemental skills, for both healing and passive damage, with Kazuha’s elemental skill you will have your enemies at your mercy. Moreover, after using his burst (infused with Kokomi’s Hydro), they are ready to be permanently frozen with Ayaka’s basic attacks and skill.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Constant passive DPS damage (Kazuha, Albedo and Kokomi)
  • One of the best DPS in the game
  • Permanent shielding
  • Healing
  • Possible perma-frost
  • Elemental attacks resistance decrease with Kazuha’s Viriscent Venerer artifacts

Roles:

  • Ayaka: DPS
  • Kazuha: Sub DPS and enabler
  • Albedo: Shielder
  • Kokomi: Healer

3. Hu Tao + Ganyu + Zhongli + Xingqiu

These characters don’t need resonances to destroy their enemies. Two of the best DPS, the most powerful elemental reactions, and an impenetrable shield. What more would you want? With this versatile team, you can ease your way through the Spiral Abyss and have a lot of fun at the same time.

You can use two strategies with this team, although they are basically the same. After shielding yourself and using Xingqiu’s burst or elemental skill, you change to your DPS and start rampaging. This DPS can be Hu Tao (vaporizing enemies) or Ganyu (freezing enemies).

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Best elemental reactions (vaporize and melt)
  • Permanent shielding
  • Huge DPS
  • Healing

Roles:

  • Hu Tao: DPS
  • Ganyu: Sub DPS
  • Zhongli: Shielder
  • Xinqiu: Enabler

2. Venti + Ganyu + Mona + Diona

Crowd-controlling teams excel at fighting a bunch of small enemies (like the elusive slimes or the blink-blink Electro witch) and crowding them together before hitting them with a nuke.

In this team you should first use Mona’s elemental skill, so they start attacking her double. After that, a chain of bursts is in order: Mona’s (damage increase), Venti’s (best crowd control), Diona’s, and Ganyu’s burst (freezing, healing, and energy recharge).

Because Venti’s Swirl reaction will infuse your enemies with Mona’s Hydro, they will freeze with Ganyu’s burst. After that, just spam Ganyu’s charged attacks (which, let me tell you, hit like a missile) and destroy them!

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Best CC (Venti and Mona)
  • Elemental attacks resistance decrease with Venti’s Viriscent Venerer artifacts
  • Healing
  • Possible perma-frost
  • Damage increase
  • Cryo resonance

Roles:

  • Venti: Sub DPS and CC
  • Ganyu: DPS
  • Mona: Enabler
  • Diona: Battery and Healer

1. Raiden Shogun + Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett

Finally, in first place, we find our favourite Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun (also known as Ei to her friends), and the three best 4-star supports: Pyro Xiangling and Bennett, and Hydro Xingqiu. Remember that double Pyro characters give the team an ATK boost!

This is a burst team, which means a team that mainly uses their characters’ elemental bursts to deal damage. In this case, you should first use Raiden’s elemental skill (which increases her damage depending on the bursts used), Bennett, Xiangling, and Xinqiu’s bursts, just before using Ei’s and start hitting like a truck.

What Makes This Team Great:

  • Easy to get (three 4-star characters)
  • Strong elemental reactions
  • Two damage increases (Raiden’s ES and Bennett EB)
  • Healing
  • Pyro resonance

Roles:

  • Raiden Shogun: DPS
  • Xiangling: Enabler
  • Xinqiu: Enabler
  • Bennet: Enabler

Some of these teams are useful for exploring, helping you advance through lakes or mountains. Some are useful for clearing mobs, with good crowd control and powerful reactions. And some are good for the Spiral Abyss, with quick explosive damage. Even so, all of the teams in this guide are amazing and powerful, trust me!
