Genshin Impact is a Fantasy Adventure RPG released by Mihoyo (the same company behind the famous mobile game Honkai Impact 3rd). Genshin Impact launched its servers last September 2020. Now, it is one of the well-known successful games - claiming its position in the top-grossing charts in both IOS App Store and Google Playstore.

Genshin Impact has a wide roster of characters to obtain. Each character is unique from one another. They have their respective Elemental Visions and weapon types to use. 

Because of the diversity of characters, it is a bit overwhelming to decide which of them you should add to your 4-man party. But don't worry! This article will list the Top 15 best characters in terms of how useful they are in combat, how fun and interesting their mechanics are, and how loveable their personalities and background stories are.

 

15. Diona

Introducing the bartender of the Cat's Tail Tavern in Mondstadt. Diona is one of the half-beast people living in Teyvat. She has a cat-like appearance and a cat-like personality. 

Her ultimate goal is to ruin the alcohol industry in Mondstadt. She executes her plan by working as a bartender and secretly concocting weird drinks by mixing gruesome or unusual ingredients. Diona believes that - by doing so, she will indirectly sabotage the wine industry in Mondstadt and leave a bad reputation for alcoholic drinks. But her plan always fails because every time she makes a drink, it always ends up unexpectedly delicious even if she purposely made them as terrible as possible.

Diona is one of the 4-star characters that have good supporting capabilities. Her Elemental Skill shoots icy paws, dealing damage to the enemies and creating a shield that absorbs damage based on her max HP. When you use her Elemental Burst, Diona will throw a concoction in an area that will leave a Drunken Mist. Inside the Mist’s AOE, allies will regenerate their HP and enemies will deal continuous damage at the same time. 

Diona is a 4-star character. Meaning, you can easily maximize her potential and level up her Constellations.

14.  Xingqiu

The second son of the Guild Master of Feiyun Commerce Guild in Liyue. Xingqiu is very studious and has a natural thirst for knowledge.  But even though he is very serious about learning, he still has a mischievous personality hiding behind his “bookworm” character. Xingqiu is also extremely good in combat and is one of the remaining practitioners of the Guhua Clan's art (a fighting style that relies heavily on sword and polearm mastery).

As a playable character, Xingqiu is surprisingly useful for a 4-star character. He is one of the top-tiered Sub-DPS characters that can provide additional damage, Elemental Reactions, and Utility to your party.

When you use his Elemental Skill, Xingqiu slashes an enemy and creates Rainswords that revolve around him. These Rainswords will last for a duration of time and each will provide Damage Reduction when the active character is hit by an enemy. The Rainswords will also heal the character when they disappear.

What makes Xingqiu special is his very useful Elemental Burst. For the duration of the Elemental Burst, projectiles will strike an enemy every time you use Normal Attacks. The duration of the Elemental Burst will continue even if you switch characters from your party.  Additionally, the maximum number of Rainswords will be created when you use his Burst. 

Awesome Traits that make Xingqiu one of the best:

• Xingqiu's Elemental Burst is one of the best abilities in terms of convenience: it's so simple yet very useful. 
• His Elemental Burst's effects will persist even if he is switched out from the field.

13. Mona

Mona is a young woman who calls herself by the name “Astrologist Mona Megistus”. Mona is very prideful with her astrologist title. She takes every opportunity to use and demonstrate her skills with confidence.  But her title is not just mere words, every time she showcases her talent, she will always make sure that you will be left astounded.

However, her pride and rigidity sometimes bring her to tight situations. She strictly lives by her philosophy that a true astrologist shouldn’t be fazed by money or anything materialistic. Because of this, she always ends up sharing her services for free - leaving her “broke” and penniless. 

Mona’s Elemental Burst allows her to summon a wave that creates a reflection of the starry sky. It applies the Illusory Bubble status to the enemies around her. While being in the Illusory Bubble state, the enemies will be rendered immobile temporarily. The Illusory Bubble also applies a Debuff called “Omen”. Enemies with this Debuff will take increased damage during its duration.

Mona’s Elemental skill will summon an Illusion that taunts enemies. The Illusion deals AOE Damage each second and will explode once it ends. The explosion will deal additional damage.

Her specialty is her unique Sprint Skill. Unlike other characters who just dash for a short distance, Mona has a different mechanic for her Sprint. During the Sprint Skill, she hides within the flow of water to move rapidly. Once she reappears, Mona will apply the Wet status to nearby enemies.

Mona is a good Sub-DPS, her Elemental Burst is very useful to a Team Composition that relies heavily on Elemental Reactions and burst damage. After applying the Omen Debuff using Mona’s Elemental Burst, you can switch to a Main DPS character that has a high bursting potential ability, and dish out a large amount of damage to enemies. This is just one of the combos you can do when using Mona in your party.

12. Jean

As much as the people of Mondstadt love her, Jean also has a special place in our hearts. As the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, Jean is very hardworking and diligent in monitoring the affairs in Mondstadt. She is very dedicated to protecting Mondstadt and its citizens, and that’s why her fellow knights always look up to her.

Jean always solves Mondstadt’s problems in a peaceful and orderly method. Although her combat prowess is highly respectable, she avoids unnecessary use of force and will only resort to it as her last option. Her personality is very brave yet benevolent. This can also be noticed in her playstyle as a playable character. She is a top-tier Support character that provides Healings to her allies. 

Her Elemental Burst creates an Anemo-infused field around her that will instantly heal the whole party upon activation. The field will continuously regenerate the HP of the characters within the AOE. Opponents entering and leaving the field will also take Anemo damage.

The fun part of Jean’s kit is her Elemental Skill. Using the Skill, Jean releases the might of the winds from her sword and pushes opponents away from her. What makes it more fun is when you hold the Skill button, Jean will form a whirlwind around her sword that will continuously pull enemies towards her. When you release the Skill button, Jean will shove the enemies that are caught up by the whirlwind and send them flying in the direction you are aiming. Sounds fun, isn’t it?

Unlocking her 1st Ascension Passive will give Jean a 50% chance to heal her allies when using her Normal Attacks, literally healing the party while damaging the enemies.

Jean’s unique kit makes her a very flexible character. You can place and build her to any role you like. You can use her as a Damage Dealer and a Support at the same time.

• Jean’s Healings scale with her Attack stat, she’s a Damager that can heal.
• She is very flexible, you can fit her in any role you want.

11. Bennett

Come on! Should we still explain why Bennett is one of the best? I mean, who would hate Bennett? Bennett is Bennett and Bennett is love! But for the new players, we will provide a small background about our “Best-Boy Bennett”.

Bennett is an orphan raised by the elders of Adventurer’s Guild. He is the only remaining member of “Benny’s Adventure Team” -  the other members left after experiencing bad luck that follows Bennet constantly.

For those that don’t know, Bennett has this unexplainable terrible luck.  Misfortunes always happen everywhere he goes and whatever he does. Because of this, other adventurers avoid teaming up with him.

But what makes Bennett loved by most players is because of his optimistic personality despite having bad luck. Bennett is very passionate about adventuring, he counters his constant bad luck with his hard work. Bennett is also compassionate and good-natured. Being aware of the unusual circumstances that tail him, he is the one who voluntarily chooses to go on an adventure alone to prevent others from being tangled by his misfortunes. That’s how considerate our Benny-boy is!

Ironically to his background story, almost every player includes Bennett in their Team Compositions.

Bennett is a god-tier 4-star playable character. In every ranking and META tier list, it’s always expected that Bennett is in the top ranks and highest placements. For a 4-star character, he has a good supporting capability. He is sometimes referred to as a hidden 5-star character by some players. 

His Elemental Burst: “Fantastic Voyage” makes him a superior Support character. When you use it, Bennett will smash the ground and create an Inspirational Field. Inside the field, allies with HP below 70% will receive Health Regeneration based on Bennett’s max HP. Allies that have their HP above 70% will gain Attack Bonus that scales off Bennetts Attack instead.

When you unlock his 1st Constellation, the HP requirement for the Attack Bonus will be negated. The Attack Bonus will be automatically applied even if the character’s HP is not above 70%. So, if the HP of the character is below 70%, the character will both gain HP Regeneration and Attack Bonus at the same time.

10. Klee

Another loli character in our list. Klee is an outgoing and friendly child that lives in Mondstadt. But don’t let her cuteness fool you, she’s the strongest fighter of Mondstadt for a reason. Yes, you read it right! Klee is the Knights of Favonius Spark Knight and hailed as Mondstadt’s strongest fighter.

Her naivety and playfulness is a perfect combination for destruction. Klee’s definition of fun is blowing something up and throwing explosives. But her activities often cause trouble and worry to the people of Mondstadt. She can wipe out an entire landscape when she is “playing”. Because of this, she is always sent to solitary confinement by the Acting Grand Master Jean.

Her kit is full of explosions and sparkles. She uses different kinds of bombs to blow up her enemies. Using her Normal Attacks lets her throw small bombs. Her Charge Attack creates an explosion that deals AOE damage.

When you use her Elemental Skill, she will throw a Jumpty Dumpty. This Jumpty Dumpty will bounce thrice and will explode on the third bounce. When Jumpty Dumpty explodes, it will shatter into small mines that will explode if an enemy steps on them.

If that’s not enough explosions for you, then try to use her Elemental Burst. During the Burst, Klee will continuously summon Sparks ‘n Splash to attack the enemies with explosions. 

Klee is a very good Main DPS. To utilize her power, you should spam her Charge Attack to maximize damage potential. She also uses a Catalyst, so her attacks are Ranged and imbued with Pyro Element. If you are using an Auto-Attack Build for Klee, you can team her up with Xingqiu. Using Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst and Klee’s Normal Attacks, you can trigger Vaporize Reactions constantly.

Awesome Traits that make Klee one of the best:

• Klee can continuously generate massive AOE damage.
• She is a Catalyst user so you can trigger Elemental Reactions with her Normal Attacks.
• She has a Passive that reveals Mondstadt Local Specialties in the Mini-map, making her a good character for collecting materials.
• If you want your screen to be filled with sparkles, then use her.
• Her character is very cute.

 

9. Eula

Rarity: 5-Star

Eula Lawrence is a descendant of the infamous Lawrence Clan of Mondstadt. She is the Captain of the Reconnaissance Company of the Knights of Favonius. Despite carrying the blood of the aristocrats, she is one of the few nobles who condemns the actions of her lineage.  

Although she has a love-hate relationship with her clan, She is still seen practicing some of its noble traditions and even incorporating the clan’s traditional “Dance of Sacrifice” in her battle style. Her combat style is so majestic, it’s like she is dancing with her enemies when she fights.

Eula is a character that scales on her Physical Damage. She can put up massive White Numbers (Physical Damage), and all she has to do is slash, slash and slash!

Her Elemental Burst lets her swing her sword and deals Cryo Damage to the surrounding enemies. After that, a Lightfall Sword will be created and it will follow Eula. The Lightfall Sword will be charged when Eula deals damage using her Attacks. The Lightfall Sword will create an explosion once the duration ends, dealing massive damage to groups of enemies. Theory states that Eula’s Elemental Burst can even reach Millions of damage. THAT’S A LOT OF DAMAGE!

Awesome Traits that make Eula one of the best:

• She is not dependent on Elemental Reactions to maximize her damage because she scales off her Physical Damage.
• She’s a Claymore user. She can break shields and Geo Constructs.
• Her fighting style and Attack animations are elegant.
• She has a basic mechanic - great for new players.

 

8. Diluc

Rarity: 5-Star

The current owner of Dawn Winery and a member of the Ragnvindr Clan, Master Diluc is hailed as Mondstadt’s wealthiest man. Despite his noble status, Diluc has sworn to protect Mondstadt. 

A certain incident in the past made Diluc leave the Knights of Favonius. Hence, he deals matters with his own hands and safeguards Mondstadt from the shadows. Basically, he is the Batman of Genshin Impact.

Diluc is one of the pioneer top-class Main DPS characters. Being a Pyro character, he can dish out big amounts of damage by utilizing Melt Reactions. In addition, he is also a Claymore-wielder, so he can pretty much destroy all kinds of shields (except Pyro Abyss Mages’ shields, of course).

Diluc’s Elemental Skill is a forward Slash- Attack that deals Pyro Damage. You can use his Skill up to three times. 

His Elemental Burst will unleash the flames from his sword, pushing enemies and dealing Pyro Damage. The flames converge to his Claymore and form a Phoenix that flies forward and deals massive Pyro Damage on its path. The Phoenix will explode when it reaches its maximum distance causing another AOE Pyro Damage. After that, the flames in his weapon will stay for a period of time causing Diluc’s Normal and Charged Attacks to deal Pyro Damage.

Awesome Traits that make Diluc one of the best:

• His mechanic is very simple yet he can deal large damage.
• He is a Pyro Character, and Pyro Reactions are heavily favored in the current META.
• He is a Claymore-wielder. It gives him a slight advantage over other Main DPS characters.
• Diluc’s story is interesting.
• The Animation of his Elemental Burst is Hot! (Pun intended.)

 

7. Tartaglia (Childe)

Rarity: 5-Star

Tartaglia, also known by his alias “Childe”, is the 11th Fatui Harbinger. His eagerness for challenge makes him very dangerous despite being the newest member of the Harbingers. He always takes any opportunity to hone his skills and improve his battle style.

Tartaglia seems to have a friendly personality on the surface, but behind that is a warrior that thirsts for the thrill of combat. However, Tartaglia still has values and principles left to him. He just uses his blades when at work or when the opponent agrees to have a spar with him - he doesn’t take any battles personally. It is just one of the reasons why most players love him even if he’s considered a villain in the story.

In battle, Tartaglia is very unpredictable. He never runs out of moves to subdue his opponents. As a playable character, Tartaglia is a Bow-user and Ranged by default. He can switch to a Melee stance when you use his Elemental Skill. During the period of his Elemental Skill, Tartaglia’s weapon switches to Hydro Blades that deals AOE damage when he performs an attack.

His Elemental Burst performs differently based on which stance he is currently using. When in Ranged stance, Tartaglia will shoot Hydro-imbued arrows that deal AOE Hydro Damage. Enemies hit by the arrows will be affected by the Riptide Status. When in Melee stance, he will perform a slash that deals massive Hydro Damage to surrounding enemies. 

Another mechanic in Tartaglia’s kit is the Riptide Status. He can apply the Riptide Status to enemies when you use his Charge Attack or Elemental Burst when in Ranged stance. An enemy that is affected by Riptide status suffers different Hydro Damage effects that vary based on which attack Tartaglia uses to hit the said enemy  (we will not discuss it one-by-one).

Tartaglia’s gameplay is all about managing the Riptide Status effect and switching stances back-and-forth to deal constant amounts of damage. Some players find it difficult and taxing. But hey! If you’re like Tartaglia who also loves challenges, you will surely like him as a playable character.

• His kit and mechanics are unique and challenging.
• He can switch between Long-ranged and Melee stances.
• Can dish out pretty amounts of damage.
• His story is heart-warming and his personality is very charming. He is one of the antagonists that you can’t hate.

 

6. Albedo

Rarity: 5-Star

Also known as the “Kreideprinz”. Albedo is the mysterious Chief Alchemist and Captain of the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonius. His desire in learning and studying the world of Teyvat is immeasurable. Albedo is very talented and knowledgeable in alchemical works. He incorporates alchemy in his battles.

He is the second-best Sub-DPS/Support you can have (only next to Venti). His Elemental Skill will make him create a Solar Isotoma that deals AOE Damage on appearance. The Solar Isotoma will stay and create a zone. When you hit an enemy within the zone of  Solar Isotoma, Transient Blossoms will be generated which deal AOE Geo Damage. 

Another thing, when a character steps on the center of the Solar Isotoma, it will create a platform that lifts the character standing on it. This is the reason why other players call Albedo “The Elevator Guy”.

When you use his Elemental Burst, Albedo will command Geo Crystals to rapture from the ground, dealing AOE Geo Damage in front of him. If a Solar Isotoma is in the field of effect, seven Fatal Blossoms will be generated in the zone of the Solar Isotoma. The Fatal Blossoms will violently explode into bloom, dealing additional AOE Geo Damage.

Additionally, if you unlock his 4th Ascension Passive, Albedo will give a Buff that increases the Elemental Mastery of his party when you use his Elemental Burst.

• His 4th Ascension Passive allows Albedo to increase the Elemental Mastery of Allies, giving additional support to your party.

5. Xiao

Xiao is an Adeptus and one of the Yakshas in Liyue. The Yakshas are Illuminated Beasts that formed a contract with Morax to dispel evil spirits that plague the lands of Liyue. Originally, there were Five Yakshas. Currently, Xiao is the only remaining member of the legendary group.

Xiao has a cold personality and prefers being alone. If you watched the anime Naruto, you can compare Xiao to Sasuke Uchiha. Behind his serious and reserved attitude hides a character that is willing to sacrifice his sanity just to protect Liyue and its people.

Xiao is a top-tier Main DPS character. His strength lies in his Elemental Burst. During the effect of his Elemental Burst, his attacks will be boosted and will be imbued by Anemo Element. In addition, the height of his jump will also be increased - allowing him to repeatedly perform Plunge Attacks for the duration of the Burst. However, during its duration, Xiao will continuously lose his HP. So, it’s better to be mindful of Xiao’s HP when using his Elemental Burst.

He dashes in a straight line when he uses his Elemental Skill, dealing Anemo Damage to enemies along its path. You can use his Elemental Skill up to two times by default. This can also be useful in exploration as it gives an additional pseudo-sprint.

His playstyle relies solely on spamming his Plunge  Attack during his Elemental Burst. For some players, it is boring and repetitive. But I don’t know if it’s boring for you to see five to six digits of damage constantly appearing on your screen when using Xiao.

Awesome Traits that make Xiao one of the best:

• He is one of the top-performing Main DPS characters.
• He can deal massive AOE Damage using his Plunge Attack while in the effect of his Burst.
• Like Albedo, Xiao is also useful in exploration and reaching elevated or hard-to-reach areas.
• His Japanese dialogues are voiced by the Legendary Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (VA of Kirito of the anime Sword Art Online).

 

4. Hu Tao

Weapon: Polearm

Rarity: 5-Star

Hu Tao is the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Opposite to the gloomy nature of her work, Hu Tao is rather jolly and cheerful. She has a perky personality and is known for her pranks and mischiefs. However, she is very serious in her role as Funeral Parlor Director - raising the reputation of the business and “attracting clients” in quite unusual methods.

Her mechanics relies on HP management and her Damage scales based on her HP. When you use her Elemental Skill, her Attacks will be imbued with Pyro Element and she will get an Attack Bonus based on a certain percentage of her Max HP. But there’s a twist! Just like Xiao, Hu Tao also loses her HP every time you use her Elemental Skill. But unlike Xiao’s, the loss of HP for Hu Tao’s Skill is instant and it’s on a fixed portion. 

But to complement the HP loss effect of her Elemental Skill, her Elemental Burst allows her to self-heal. Hu Tao’s Burst deals large amounts of damage to enemies around her. When she hits an enemy with her Burst, she will Regenerate a percentage of HP and it can trigger up to five times. If you use the Elemental Burst when she is below 50% HP, the Damage and Healing will be doubled. 

Additionally, when you unlock her 4th Ascension Passive “Sanguine Rouge”, her Pyro DMG Bonus is increased by 33% when her HP is equal or below 50%. If you want to maximize Hu Tao’s damage output, you should always keep her below 50% HP. Playing as Hu Tao is like playing with life and death - it perfectly suits her character though.

Hu Tao can give massive bursting damage. She can literally send enemies to the afterlife with a single hit of her Elemental Burst! But, again, you should know how to properly manage her HP. Always remember that she’s stronger when she’s near death.

• Her Japanese Voice Actor is Rie Takahashi. So, if you love Megumin in KonoSuba, you will also love her!

3. Ganyu

Half-Human, Half-Illuminated Beast, Ganyu is more than an addition to your waifu collection. She is the secretary of Liyue Qixing and like Jean, she is very hardworking and takes no day-offs.

Ganyu is both a Sniper and a Rocket Launcher - she can instantly eliminate groups of enemies from afar. What makes her different from other Bow-users is her Charge Attack - it has two levels. On the second level, Ganyu will fire a Frostflake arrow that blooms after hitting an enemy. The bloom will deal AOE Cryo Damage.

Ganyu depends heavily on her Charge Attacks as a Main DPS. So, expect that you will be using the Aimed Shot Mode most of the time if you are playing as Ganyu. When in Aiming Mode, Ganyu can be easily disrupted by enemy attacks and it will reset the charging of the arrows, so you should always keep your distance from the mobs.

But don’t worry! If an enemy accidentally slips out and comes closer to you, you can quickly use Ganyu’s Elemental Skill. When you use her Elemental Skill, Ganyu will swiftly dash backwards and leave an Ice Lotus, dealing AOE Cryo damage with its appearance. The Ice Lotus will last for a while and will taunt surrounding enemies. Pretty convenient!

Ganyu’s Elemental Burst summons a Sacred Cryo Pearl. During the Burst’s duration, ice shards will continuously rain down from the Sacred Cryo Pearl, striking opponents within the field of effect, and dealing Cryo Damage. Her Elemental Burst also makes her a good Sub-DPS if you don’t want to use her as a Main DPS.

Awesome Traits that make Ganyu one of the best:

• She is broken in the current version. Her Level 2 Charged Attack can put an insane amount of numbers.
• If you like the Sniper/Archer role, you must try Ganyu.
• Ganyu’s Elemental Skill compliments her dependence on Aimed Shot Mode.
• Her Elemental Burst has a long duration, high damage, and large AOE.

As a bard, he has a very carefree and playful attitude. He loves alcoholic drinks and is often seen hanging out in bars and taverns. But this boy (yes, Venti is supposed to be a male.), is just a vessel of someone powerful. We will not talk about it to avoid spoilers.

Playing Venti is like using a vacuum cleaner. Aside from his Elemental Burst being an ability that literally sucks groups of enemies, Venti is also convenient in cleaning and wiping out enemies in Domains and the Spiral Abyss for a short time.

Now that we mentioned his Elemental Burst, let us explain its effects. Venti fires an arrow that is filled with turbulent winds, creating a Stormeye that sucks objects and enemies along its path. The Stormeye deals continuous Anemo Damage. The Stormeye can also absorb other Elements (Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, Electro), dealing additional Elemental Damage.

If you want to clear Abyss Floors and Domains easily, you should know how to manage the Reactions of his Elemental Burst and learn to perform combos by switching active characters in your party.

Venti is also good for exploration. Using the Elemental Skill “Skyward Sonnet”, you can reach high areas to collect Anemoculus and Geoculus easily. When you hold Venti’s Elemental Skill, he will unleash a rideable wind current around him.

1. Zhongli

And the top character in our list is none other than the “Walking Encyclopedia”, the “Geo-Daddy”, and the “CEO of GEO” himself, Zhongli! Zhongli is a very deep character. But for the sake of new players, we will not discuss his story and will not give possible spoilers.

Let’s just focus on his battle capabilities. In terms of combat, he is a GOD. He is the best Support character you can have. For your knowledge, it is easy to obtain a good DPS character because most of the characters in the roster are Damage Dealers. But having an outstanding Support character is a GOD-given grace. It’s as rare as seeing a DRAGON FALL FROM THE SKY (Okay, you are getting enough of it, just play the game to know more about his story).

When you tap his Elemental Skill, a climbable pillar will rise from the ground, dealing damage with its creation. This pillar will resonate with other nearby Geo Construct and deal AOE Damage every 2 seconds. When you hold the Elemental Skill Button, an energy explosion will occur and Zhongli will create a shield. 

His shield is as sturdy as a rock and as indestructible as the Earth itself! His shield alone, in its basic form, is very hard to destroy - as you unlock his first Passive, it will add another effect wherein it will fortify every time an enemy lands a hit on the shield. Another thing to add: Zhongli’s shield also decreases the Elemental Resistance and Physical Resistance of enemies in a small area by 20%. 

When you use his Elemental Burst, a meteor will fall from the HEAVENS and crash in a large AOE. The enemies that are caught up with the crash will take massive damage and will be Petrified for a duration of time. If that doesn’t amaze you, I don’t know what will. Additionally, Zhongli’s Elemental Burst animation is inarguably the coolest skill effect in the game.

If you want to play him like a GOD, you can also build him as a DPS by maximizing his Elemental Burst.

There are many things that make Zhongli the best character: his story, his personality, his character design, his skill set, his mechanic and the superior supporting tools he can give to your party.

• If you have Zhongli in your team, you will forget the existence of the Sprint Skill Button because you won’t even need to Dodge when you have Zhongli’s shield.

• His character, personality and story are GODLY!

 

There are a wide variety of characters to choose from in Genshin Impact and there are absolutely many reasons to love each one of them. The game is also non-competitive and doesn’t require you to stick to the META to fully enjoy its content. So, it still boils down to how you enjoy the characters and how you want to play the game in your own ways. The list is just a personal preference and only based on how we view the game.
