[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Tachanka Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Tachanka Loadouts in R6 Siege
The five best loadouts that will enhance your gameplay with one of the best area-denial operators in Siege

Tachanka used to be just a meme material for the Siege community, but ever since his rework, he has become a seriously viable operator to run with when one is playing defense. That’s mainly because of his special gadget, the Shumikha Launcher, which is capable of launching fire grenades that cover a large area in fire for several seconds.

This ability makes Tachanka one of the best area-denial operators around since he has a lot of fire grenades, and in total, he can cover an area with fire for more than one minute and thirty. On top of that, his unique weapon, the DP27 packs a powerful punch per shot, and is one of the best utilities in the game which Tachanka can use to rework the map to his team’s advantage.

5. 9x19VSN with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Suppressor and Laser + Deployable Shield

For a lot of people, straight up lowering the vertical recoil of their guns is what delivers the best recoil control, and that makes sense, especially when two attachments are working hand in hand to do just that. And in this loadout setup, that would be the flash hider and vertical grip attachments. With two attachments focused on lowering the 9x19VSN’s vertical recoil, the user would mostly only have to worry about the weapon’s random recoil from all directions, particularly its horizontal recoil. But since he wouldn’t have to hold on too much for the vertical weapon kick, that task should be easier.

Kapkan is a very versatile operator who can perform both roaming and anchoring roles. However, this loadout setup is more for anchoring, and that’s why the generic gadget is the deployable shield. The deployable shield is a really effective utility for holding an angle because it provides extra cover for that particular angle that you want to hold. A deployable shield’s presence on an area can really unsettle any attacker since it’s kind of like Mira’s Black Mirror. One wouldn’t really know at first glance if a defender is behind it or not.

Excels in:

  • Having the best vertical recoil possible on the 9x19VSN with the flash hider and vertical grip working hand in hand to lower it
  • Lessening the visual cues that enemies could react to with the flash hider removing the 9x19VSN’s muzzle flash
  • Providing extra cover in an area through the use of the deployable shield which is very effective in holding angles
  • Being able to shoot enemy gadgets such as drones or claymores silently through the use of the suppressed PMM handgun
  • Providing pinpoint accuracy on the 9x19VSN with the Red Dot A’s simple center dot reticle

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - 9x19VSN with Red Dot A, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - PMM with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Deployable Shield

4. 9x19VSN with Red Dot A, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Suppressor and Laser + Deployable Shield

It’s quite rare to see the compensator topping the flash hider when it comes to barrel attachments, I know. But for the 9x19VSN, the compensator offers a better overall shooting experience than the flash hider. That’s because after the first four shots, the 9x19VSN’s recoil diamond becomes quite wide, and that means more horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions. And the compensator specializes in reducing the size of the weapon’s recoil diamond. With that, its horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions will be much lessened.

This usually results in a more stable firing experience with the 9x19VSN, especially when it comes to extended sprays. It’s not that represented well by screenshots from the shooting range, but if you test it yourself, you’ll really feel that the 9x19VSN with a compensator fires more smoothly than the 9x19VSN with a flash hider. As for the secondary weapon in this loadout, the suppressed PMM will allow Kapkan to shoot enemy drones or claymores silently when he has to flank or when he’s roaming, and that would lessen the chances of enemies being alerted to his presence.

Excels in:

  • Having the most stable recoil on the 9x19VSN with the compensator barrel attachment reducing the size of its recoil diamond
  • Maintaining a good vertical recoil control on the 9x19VSN with the use of the vertical grip attachment
  • Shooting with pinpoint accuracy on the 9x19VSN because of the simple center dot reticle on the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
  • Being able to hold an angle effectively and for long periods of time with the use of the deployable shield generic gadget
  • Being able to shoot enemy gadgets such as drones or claymores silently and with less chance of alerting the enemies to your presence

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - 9x19VSN with Red Dot A, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - PMM with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Deployable Shield

3. 9x19VSN with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Bearing 9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider + Barbed Wire

This is the best loadout setup for Tachanka players who prefer the 9x19VSN as their primary weapon. That’s because the suppressor brings a lot to the table, a lot more than the flash hider and the compensator can. With the suppressor on the 9x19VSN submachine gun, Tachanka can fire at enemies without them getting a directional threat indicator of where his shots are coming from. That’s extremely useful when Tachanka is anchoring and shooting enemies behind cover. That’ll keep them guessing which direction or cover he’s shooting them from, thus, preventing an effective and immediate counter attack.

The suppressor will also hide the 9x19VSN’s muzzle flash, so unless the enemies see the subtle movements of Tachanka behind cover, they won’t immediately find him. It will also greatly dampen the weapon’s gunshot sounds, so from a distance, they won’t be able to hear it at all. And even at a distance where they could hear the 9x19VSN’s suppressed gunshots, it’ll be harder for them to pinpoint where exactly they’re coming from. For the secondary gadget in this loadout, Tachanka has been blessed with the Bearing 9 machine pistol. It’s a rapid firing secondary weapon and unlike most machine pistols, the Bearing 9 has a very manageable recoil.

Excels in:

  • Shooting enemies without them receiving a directional threat indicator of where Tachanka’s shots are coming from through the use of the suppressed 9x19VSN
  • Making it much harder for enemies to determine Tachanka’s location because the 9x19VSN’s gunshot sounds will be greatly reduced
  • Lessening the visual cues that enemies could use in pinpointing where Tachanka is shooting them from with the suppressor hiding the 9x19VSN’s muzzle flash
  • Having a secondary weapon that has a very fast rate of fire and can make quick work of enemies in the Bearing 9 machine pistol
  • Having early warning devices on flanking spots with the use of the barbed wires which can also greatly slow enemies down

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - 9x19VSN with Red Dot A, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Bearing 9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider
  • Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

2. DP27 with Red Dot A + PMM with Suppressor and Laser + Barbed Wire

Now, obviously, the loadout setup with the DP27 light machine gun would be higher up in the list than the ones with the 9x19VSN, and that’s primarily because the DP27 is Tachanka’s unique weapon. Players would only be able to experience the advantages that the DP27 brings when playing Tachanka, so it would be quite a waste to not run with it when you’re playing him. With that said, the 9x19VSN offers a lot of advantages for Tachanka as well, especially if the player wants to roam the map a bit or play aggressively. But overall, the DP27 light machine gun is just a better weapon for Tachanka.

And that’s because of its heavy firepower and high destruction profile per shot. At its optimal range, it’s capable of taking down enemies with just a few shots, and the great thing is, it’s very easy to rework the map with it. With the DP27, Tachanka will be able to make rotation holes or more lines of sight very quickly. It’s the most destructive fully automatic weapon in Siege, and is such a great utility. The suppressed PMM would also be a great tool for Tachanka when he needs to shoot enemy gadgets silently, and the barbed wires are great for slowing down enemies and warning the whole defending team when enemies are pushing.

Excels in:

  • Heavy firepower per shot from the DP27 light machine gun will allow Tachanka to take opponents down quickly
  • High destruction profile per shot from the DP27 light machine gun makes it a great utility for reworking the map to the defending team’s advantage
  • Having pinpoint accuracy on the DP27 through the Red Dot A 1.0x sight because of its simple center dot reticle
  • Having early warning devices in the barbed wires which are also great for slowing enemies down
  • Being able to shoot enemy drones or claymores silently through the use of the suppressed PMM handgun

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - DP27 with Red Dot A
  • Secondary weapon - PMM with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

1. DP27 with Red Dot A + Bearing 9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider + Deployable Shield

This is the best loadout setup for Tachanka players who prefer the DP27 light machine gun for their primary weapon, and that’s mainly because of this setup’s secondary weapon and generic gadget. I’ve discussed above what makes the DP27 light machine gun a great weapon and utility tool, but its biggest drawbacks are its slow reload time and slow rate of fire. But with this loadout setup, those drawbacks can be mitigated, because when Tachanka’s DP27 needs to reload in the heat of combat, he can easily switch to the Bearing 9 machine pistol which is fully automatic and has a very fast rate of fire.

The Bearing 9 itself is powerful enough to act as a primary weapon anyway, so when the Tachanka players want more mobility and to be able to deal with enemies faster, the Bearing 9 would be the weapon of choice. Its Red Dot A 1.0x sight will allow Tachanka to target enemies in longer distances with pinpoint accuracy as long as he sticks to short bursts or one taps. The flash hider as the Bearing 9’s barrel attachment will greatly lower its vertical weapon kick, allowing the user to handle its recoil very well, and of course, the deployable shield will provide an extra cover for Tachanka and it will allow him to hold an angle for long periods of time as long as it’s not destroyed.

Excels in:

  • Making quick work of enemies due to the good amount of damage per shot and very fast rate of fire of the Bearing 9 machine pistol
  • Having great vertical recoil control on the Bearing 9 due to the flash hider barrel attachment holding down its vertical weapon kick
  • Having pinpoint accuracy on both the DP27 and Bearing 9 through the Red Dot A’s simple center dot reticle
  • Being able to hold an angle down effectively through the use of the deployable shield which provides extra bulletproof cover
  • Heavy damage and high destruction profile per shot from the DP27 LMG makes it capable of taking out enemies fast and being used as a utility for reworking the map

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - DP27 with Red Dot A
  • Secondary weapon - Bearing 9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider
  • Generic gadget - Deployable Shield
