[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best IQ Loadouts

Rainbow Six Siege IQ Loadouts
Freak enemies out when you destroy their gadgets quietly from behind soft walls or under the floor

Siege’s gameplay revolves around each operators’ unique gadgets and most of them are made of electronics. That is why IQ with her electronics detector is the perfect counter for many defending operators, especially those whose gadgets work best when hidden, like Kapkan, Valkyrie, Echo, or Lesion. The only downside is that her electronics detector is only attached to her handgun, making her vulnerable to attacks. The good thing is, there are ways to counter those attacks through her loadouts.

5. 552 Commando with 1.5x Scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + P12 with Suppressor + Claymore

Assault rifles look so sweet with a suppressor

As mentioned above, IQ can be quite vulnerable while using her gadget to detect enemy gadgets. While the P12 is an excellent handgun and can make kills especially when you catch an opponent off-guard, it won’t be an effective weapon for engaging enemies that have seen you, especially with the electronics gadget detector obstructing your view with a blue hue. Therefore, it is best to ignore the breach charge altogether and always come with a claymore. That way, you will have some defense against roamers while you’re scanning for enemy gadgets.

Even with a suppressor, the 552 commando does 40 damage which is still substantial. And with a suppressor in your primary as well, this loadout specializes in stealth. Since it masks the sound of your gunshots and prevents enemies from getting a directional threat indicator whether you miss or make a shot. And that will prevent them from instantly knowing where your location is.

Excels in:

  • Stealth
  • Any range

4. AUG A2 with 2.5x Scope and Flash Hider + P12 with Suppressor + Claymore

The AUG A2 always reminds me counter strike 1.3

Always use a suppressor on your P12. That way, you can shoot defender gadgets without alerting your enemies. And in many cases, you will have to shoot defender gadgets through barricaded doors, soft walls, and even through floors. And for that, stealth is very important.

While the AUG A2 has less damage than the 552 Commando, the availability of the 2.5x scope and its straight vertical recoil pattern more than makes up for it. The 2.5x Scope makes this loadout excellent for spotting and fragging enemies from long range. And the flash hider is the best barrel when it comes to guns with a straight vertical recoil pattern. And as the name implies, it hides the muzzle flash, which can cause some delay for your enemies to notice where your shots are coming from.

Excels in:

  • Medium to long range

3. 552 Commando with 1.5x Scope, Compensator, and Angled Grip + P12 with Suppressor + Claymore

552 Commando unleashed

While the highest zoom available to the 552 commando is 1.5x, it still ranks higher than the AUG A2 because of the angled grip’s availability. With IQ, a huge chunk of your time will be used for detecting electronics, and as mentioned above, that can leave you vulnerable to attacks, especially from roamers. And sometimes, the claymore is not enough to defend yourself from them. That is why the angled grip plays a major role on your primary.

With it attached to your primary, once you hear enemy footsteps or sense them coming to engage you, you can switch to your primary and make some quick kills, because the angled grip will allow you to go into aim-down-sights (ads) position faster. The compensator will also offer you great control of guns like the 552 commando which doesn’t have a straight vertical recoil pattern.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range

2. G8A1 with Red Dot, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + P12 with Suppressor + Claymore

Just be careful when peeking around corners

IQ’s light machine gun. The G8A1 has significantly lower damage than the two primaries above, but with it, you’ll enjoy a higher fire rate and bullet capacity per magazine. You can also attach an angled grip to it which is very important when playing IQ as mentioned in the previous items. This LMG also has a much lower recoil than the AUG A2 and the 552 Commando, allowing for stable firing, which translates to more accuracy.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range

1. 552 Commando with 1.5x Scope, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + P12 with Suppressor + Claymore

Ah, the great rivalry between flash hider and compensator.

Because it doesn’t have a straight vertical recoil pattern like the AUG A2, the 552 Commando can be pretty tricky to control without a compensator reducing its recoil pattern. However, with IQ, spending a major amount of her time scanning electronics, most of your encounters with your enemies will be when you’ll have to switch to your primary. And those will be mostly quick engagements. That means going into ads position fast which the angled grip will provide, and dealing quick kills with flick shots. And when it comes to controlling small burst fire recoil, the flash hider is the best.

As mentioned above, the flash hider can cause some delay for your enemies to visually notice where your shots are coming from, but it also hides the muzzle flash for yourself, allowing you to see your targets more clearly.

Excels in:

  • Close to medium range
