What is the best way to power up your trident?

Every Minecraft player knows that tridents are one of the strongest weapons that you can get in the game. They can either work as a melee weapon or a long-range one without giving out on any of those categories. But of course, as any other item in the game, tridents can be enhanced by using the power of enchantments, turning a regular trident into a weapon worthy of the gods.

For that reason, we decided to make a top 5 of the best enchantments to take your trident to the next level. 

5. Unbreaking:

Unbreaking enchantment

This enchantment will increase the durability of your trident, And since tridents aren`t craftable and can only be obtained by killing a Drowned zombie every so often, for that reason having an enchantment that will make your trident last as long as possible is a must if you want to get the most bang for your buck.

4. Mending:

Mending enchantment

Mending will also help make your trident last longer, since every time you take on a mob part of the experience orbs that it drops will go to fix the trident, giving you more usage every time you kill a mob, it's like one of those reward plans credit card companies offer.

•  no need to use an anvil to fix it

3. Channeling: 

Channeling enchantment

This enchantment only works when it's raining but that doesn't make it any less important; with channelling, every time you hit a mob by throwing the trident, a flash of lightning will strike the mob, this increases the strength of the trident and could result in a one-hit KO, now that's some Thor level action we're talking about!

•  Makes your hits stronger
•  invokes a ray of lightning when thrown

2. Riptide: 

Riptide enchantment

With this enchantment you will get the ability to get propelled into the air every time you throw your trident, the only downside is that you must be either on water or it must be raining, but still a pretty cool way to get away if you find yourself in the middle of the ocean or in any situation where there is water. Be careful when using it, since you will still be affected by fall damage, so make sure to be wearing a pair of boots with the feather falling enchantment. 

Coolness points:

•  Launches you into the air when ringing or in water
•  Can be used to run away from trouble
•  Can be used for flying when it's raining or snowing
•  Use it as a launcher for gliding with an elytra

1. Loyalty: 

Loyalty enchantment

Loyalty is very important and I'm not talking about the enchantment, any way with this enchantment you will never have to worry about losing your trident, or having to go get it every time you throw it; since with loyalty the trident will automatically come back to you as if it were some kind of boomerang; depending on the level the trident will return faster to your hands. Now that's what I call a comeback.

• The trident will return every time you throw it
•  you will never lose your trident
•  no need to pick it up when throwing it far away
•  Makes long-range combat easier
