[Top 10] Empires and Puzzles Best Fire Heroes That Are Powerful

Hot, hot, hot!

Somebody call 911!

Heroes from the Fire element in Empires and Puzzles aren’t playing around, that’s for sure! We bet that many of them are ready and willing to paint the town red for you, if given the chance. Whether it’s by including them in your offensive teams for wars and tournaments or taking-down-Titan lineup, these guys are naturally burning with power - and this list proves it. Here’s our Top 10 Empires and Puzzles Best Fire Heroes That Are Powerful.

10. Ferant

Ferant

You know it, we know it, counterattackers are a special brand of annoying - especially since you’ll need a healer-dispeller to get rid of this buff. But what happens if that counterattacker happens to be a mana controller too? Why not ask our boy Ferant, then?

His Feral Revenge gives himself and nearby allies the ability to counterattack with 135% of the damage they received for 5 turns, but of course, that’s not the most annoying thing he does. They all get to decrease the attacker’s mana by -10% on each counterattack for 5 turns too! This makes it fairly difficult for the attacker to get enough mana to unleash their Special Skill, which is very advantageous for Ferant’s team. This also makes him fantastic to use as a flank to a designated tank, or hey, even make him your tank - and instantly make your lineup three times as annoying to deal with!

What Makes Ferant a Great Fire Hero:

  • Counterattacker - gives himself and nearby allies the ability to counterattack with 135% of the damage they received for 5 turns
  • Mana controller - decreases -10% mana from the attacker on each counterattack for 5 turns, which diminishes when consecutively activated during the same turn
  • Great to use as Flank or Tank - this will make sure three heroes are counterattacking and reducing enemy mana each time his Special Skill is activated

9. Captain Kestrel

Captain Kestrel

We’re both thinking it - this hero reminds us of someone. But the question is: does he know where the rum is?

Captain Kestrel’s definitely a Fire hero designed to punish his enemy for having a lot of mana because, first of all, how dare they? His Pirate Shot, at Fast Mana Speed, initially deals 215% damage to the target and nearby enemies. But this damage has a tendency to increase depending on how much mana they have, with the cap being at 335%! Don’t bother hiding the rum from him, mate - he’ll just shoot the answer out of you!

What Makes Captain Kestrel a Great Fire Hero:

  • Fast mana speed - can unleash Special Skill quicker
  • Multi-target attacker - deals 215% damage to the target and their nearby enemies
  • Damage can increase - damage can go up to 335% if the enemies have a lot of mana

8. Tahir

Tahir

We won’t say no to getting Heroes of The Month - after all, they can be summoned as bonus draws every time you’re gunning for a specific hero. And if you got Tahir last August, then consider yourself lucky!

His Hunter’s Mark, at Fast Mana Speed, causes different effects that only benefit Tahir’s team. First, he deals 350% damage to the target - but that damage increases to 525% if his target is already suffering from a status ailment or a negative stack. If his target is still alive after Tahir’s done? Their nearby allies then get to suffer 336 Bleed damage for 3 turns because of course they do. Lastly, Tahir’s fantastic to put in a fire lineup because he gets to protect them, as his Element Link then gives all Fire allies immunity to new Fiends for 4 turns. This HOTM definitely feels more like a Blessing Draw than a Bonus one!

What Makes Tahir a Great Fire Hero:

  • Has Fast Mana Speed - can unleash Special Skill quicker
  • Damage to target can increase - if the target has status ailment or negative stack
  • Gives Fiend Immunity to Fire allies for 4 turns - making them unable to get Fiends

7. Jean-Francois

Jean_francois

Speaking of Heroes of the Month, we have another one in this list who definitely lives up to the phrase ‘Burn baby burn!’

Jean-François is an ailment inflictor - slash - buffer that’s a pain to deal with, making getting him a plus for any roster, really. At Fast Mana Speed, he goes straight to burning all his enemies - giving them 302 burn damage over 2 turns, to be exact. Next he buffs up his team, as they all get +94% defense against Ice for 4 turns and, if the enemy tries to give them any status ailment affecting defense? Jean-François turns that to +42% defense instead. Lastly, s Element Link gives all his fire teammates +10% critical chance for 6 turns, which can’t be dispelled. If there’s any hero in the game whose looks scream ‘protagonist?’ It’s Jean-François, your honor!

What Makes Jean-François a Great Fire Hero:

  • Has Fast Mana Speed - can unleash his Special Skill quicker
  • Multi-target attacker - gives burn damage to all enemies
  • Buffer - gives all allies +94% defense against Ice and Defense Status Ailment Protection for 4 turns, while all Fire allies get +10% critical chance for 6 turns

6. Anzogh

Anzogh

We love our muscular, hybrid heroes, and if they’re as useful as Anzogh is? Then we’ll love them even more!

His Flaming Grudge deals 215% damage to all enemies, and to add insult to injury? His allies then get healed with 20% of the total damage dealt to the foes. Not bad for an attacker-slash-healer, right? But wait, there’s more! He works best with his fellow Fire heroes because of his Element Link - as they all get to enjoy +46% defense against Ice for 4 turns which can’t be dispelled. Anzogh definitely makes Ice heroes less deadly to his Fire peeps!

What Makes Anzogh a Great Fire Hero:

  • Multi-target attacker - deals damage to all enemies
  • Hybrid hero - as he also heals his allies with 20% of the total damage dealt to the enemies
  • Buffer - gives Fire allies an undispellable +46% defense against Ice for 4 turns

5. Lewena

Lewena

Talents? What talents? That’s the question Lewena asks every time she unleashes her skill upon her unsuspecting enemies!

Her Impeding Bolts definitely make her one of the most unique heroes to date, considering it does what most others don’t - it blocks Talent Skill activation for all enemies for 6 turns. This makes heroes from the Fighter Class unable to revive themselves, or those from the Rogue Class unable to dodge attacks - basically, the special abilities heroes get from being a member of a class are then negated! Definitely an interesting skill to have, at any rate. Of course, let’s not forget that after the blocking comes the attacking - in the form of 260% damage to all enemies. Lewena’s definitely one cool chick to summon, that’s for sure!

What Makes Lewena a Great Fire Hero:

  • Multi-target attacker - attacks all enemies
  • Debuffer - blocks all enemies’ Talent Skill activation for 6 turns

4. Nadezhda

Nadezhda

A two-for-one hero? That’s our magicians in a nutshell, and Nadezhda is definitely among the best embodiment of them!

Her Flame of the Dragon Familiar gives her two sets of abilities, but they have one thing in common: they revive. At 1x Mana Charge, while she gives burn damage to a target and nearby enemies, she also grants herself the ability to get resurrected should she die in the next 2 turns, and with 32% health. At 2x Mana Charge though? She becomes one of the most reliable revivers in the game considering she gives each fallen ally a 44% chance to get revived with 40% HP while also allowing the team to regenerate 714 HP over 3 turns and have reduced damage by -50% for 3 turns! A powerful team can definitely make room for Nadezhda in the lineup!

What Makes Nadezhda a Great Fire Hero:

  • Inflicts Status-Ailment - gives burn damage to her target and nearby enemies
  • Can Revive - either herself or her allies, the latter at 44% chance
  • Can Heal - makes the team regenerate HP and get reduced damage for 3 turns

3. Khufu

Khufu

Legendary heroes from Dunes? Automatically awesome considering their power and their Passive Skills. And Khufu is definitely a (living?) embodiment of our belief!

Khufu is a must have for any Fire team, or even teams who have two or more Fire heroes in the lineup. His Perplexing Riddle may seem like a single target attack - it deals 350% damage to the target, after all. However, this attack chains through all the enemies who are adjacent to any hit enemy - so there’s a chance all the enemies will get hit! And what’s even better - or worse, from the enemies’ perspective - the target gets -41% defense against Fire, and a further -4% decrease every time they are hit during 4 turns! This makes them way easier to dispose of - just as Khufu intended!

What Makes Khufu a Great Fire Hero:

  • Great Passive Skills - has a 70% chance to deal 70% damage to all enemies or give them 246 Sand damage over 3 turns when they cast their Special Skill
  • Multi-target attacker - if the target has any enemy adjacent to them, they get hit with his Special Skill too
  • Debuffer - gives the target defense down against Fire

2. Oceanus

Oceanus

Oceanus is one of the more recent Atlantis heroes to be released in-game - and already he seems to be making great waves!

His Strength of the Behemoth is just overall fantastic considering the large buffs it grants to Oceanus’ team. First, it deals 220% damage to all enemies - but its secondary effect is where the fun starts, considering all allies are given +120% normal attack for 4 turns, which can even increase to +170% and may be active alongside effects that alter attack in general! Tile damage will definitely cause a lot more pain than usual with this buff in effect, especially if you use heroes of the same element in your lineup. Lastly, Oceanus grants all allies +46% defense for 4 turns - they’re under his mighty protection, after all!

What Makes Oceanus a Great Fire Hero:

  • Multi-target attacker - deals 220% damage to all enemies
  • Attack Buffer - gives all allies +120% - +170% normal attack for 4 turns
  • Defense Buffer - gives all allies +46% defense for 4 turns

1. Guardian Kong Costume

Guardian Kong Costume

If your idea of getting rid of Fire heroes is by using Ice heroes? Guardian Kong will just be laughing at your face, as this dude has learned a lesson or two from Ursena!

His Kong Smash deals a massive 300% damage to all enemies at the onset, but its secondary effect is even more brutal - it allows all allies to reflect all status effects plus 115% damage back to the attacker while also blocking other negative effects from enemies’ Ice Special Skills for 4 turns. This makes using Ice heroes against him pretty darn difficult, with this skill in effect. Lastly, it dispels buffs from all enemies too, which is one of the most necessary skills in the game! Attack, buff, dispel - Guardian Kong Costume does it all, and does it well, too!

What Makes Guardian Kong Costume a Great Fire Hero:

  • Multi-target attacker - deals 300% damage to all enemies
  • Buffer - makes all allies reflect status effects plus 115% damage back to the attacker while also blocking other negative effects from enemies’ Ice Special Skills for 4 turns
  • Dispeller - gets rid of buffs from all enemies
