15. Orb of Venom

(Slow and painful the picture)

For all the aggressive players here, let me introduce you to fragile hero abuse the item. It also makes for a great CC item but I wouldn’t recommend building an Orb of Venom unless you plan ahead.

Overview:
These boots were made for stomping and that’s just what they’ll do, Power Treads are a popular pick-up on Riki making that backstab damage really hurt with the additional agility to choose from. 11. Yasha

(For every edge-lord out there)

Overview:
This is a great early pick-up for Riki players as the bonuses it gives can catapult you ahead all for just 2050 gold. To sweeten the deal it builds into Manta-Style and guess the other, here’s a hint it’s in the name. That’s right Sange and Yasha, so yes I’d recommend picking one up.

  • Excellent stats for Riki
  • Makes farming easier
  • Let’s Riki roam more effectively

9. Daedalus

(For something so basic, its so good)

Overview:
Crits…one of the most toxic relationships with a Moba player, great on your side but not so much when against you. That being said this item is awesome for Riki players who want to press the backspace key on fragile heroes, and even scare the tankier ones, would highly recommend.

Why this item:

  • Enables attacks to crit
  • The passive stacks with your backstab multiplier
  • 88 Damage bonus

Get this item if:

  • Your enemies do not have a lot of survivability
  • Damage is low
  • You are ahead

8. Butterfly

(This would make a great Riki cosmetic)

Overview:
Butterfly is an awesome weapon for Riki giving him evasion and agility in large quantities for the not-so-modest price of 4975 gold. With it being so expensive I’d recommend this item only if you have the space to farm for this later in the game.

Why this item:

  • The item grants evasion to keep you alive in duels
  • The attack speed bonus means you’ll get more backstabs in causing your overall damage to increase
  • Increase your armor due to the additional 30 agility which is Riki’s primary stat

Get this item if:

  • You need more damage due to the other team being tanky
  • You are against strong dueling heroes like Juggernaut

6. Magic Wand

( I would rather call this the life-saving wand, but that's just me)
Overview:
A lot of people might argue this is a pick-up on anyone but Riki doesn’t have much in terms of survivability early, well not with his Magic Wand. I recommend picking up a Magic Wand at your earliest convenience.

If the rock is big enough it can take down anything, right? Well, building Meteor Hammer on Riki is a match made in space because that’s what this item creates for him, vast amounts of space.

Meteor Hammer Details: https://dota2.fandom.com/wiki/Meteor_Hammer

4. Manta Style:

(The axe that looks back)

Overview:
Manta being a do to for many heroes speaks loudly of its uses. However, on Riki, it can turn him from a solitary assassin into an illusion-bearing shredder. I highly recommend trying this item in your next Rikimaru game.

Why this item:

  • With practice, you can dodge enemy abilities
  • Summon two illusions that proc some on hit effects pairs great with Diffusal Blade
  • Offers a lot of bonuses such as movement speed, attack speed, and 24 Agility

Get this item if:

  • You need more agility for Riki’s Backstab scaling
  • You built Diffusal Blade and are facing mana dependent heroes
  • If you find yourself slower than your opponents

Manta Style: https://dota2.fandom.com/wiki/Manta_Style

3. Black King Bar:

(Why does it look like its staring at us?)

Overview:
Black King Bar is often the difference between life and death for more fragile heroes. For 4050 gold this is normally an item that's more optional than mandatory, however, is overall a good pick up in most situations.
