Brew is an incredibly adaptable hero and can be played in every lane and in every role depending on the situation of the game and the style of the player. Below is a list of some of the best items you can make on Brewmaster to help you stomp in games.

15. Aghanim’s Scepter

Aghanim’s Scepter is the item made most frequently when playing Brewmaster. This item upgrades Brewmasters ultimate by giving it an additional charge and also allowing you to cancel the ability during its duration. What this means is that you can cast Primal Split and split into three different creatures with their own unique abilities, fight the other team for a brief period and then revert back to your original state and do it all again!

Aghanim’s Scepter is great for Brew because:

• Brew relies on his Primal Splil ultimate to cause havoc in team fights. Aghanim’s Scepter upgrades this ability and allows Brew to use it more frequently and as a result cause more damage.

Get Aghanim’s Scepter if: 

• You should always make Aghanim’s on Brew however the timing can vary. If you’re playing a support role you should try and rush this item as soon as possible so you can start bothering the opposing team in team fights. 14. Tranquil Boots

Tranquil Boots isn’t the most common item on Brewmaster but for someone playing a support role, it offers great utility for a very small price. Tranquil Boots gives Bremaster 65 movement speed and 14 health generation. If you’re playing a support role Tranquil Boots allows Brewmaster to close the gap between opposing enemies and use his spells. It’s also a cheap first item and after getting this you can opt to rush your Aghanim’s Scepter.

Tranquil Boots is great for Brew because:

• It gives Brew a healthy boost in movement speed and health regen. This reduces any need for Brewmaster to have to return to base frequently.

13. Blink Dagger

Blink Dagger allows you to teleport to a point 1200 units away. Blink Dagger has a 53% win rate on Brewmaster and is made in nearly every game.

Blink Dagger is great for Brew because:

• Blink Dagger allows you to close the gap on unsuspecting foes and initiate on them with your Thunder Clap spell which slows and damages all enemies. From there you can follow up with your other spells and cap it all off with your ultimate. 
• Blink Dagger also allows you to escape from any scary situation.

• You don’t have disables in the team that can hold foes in place to land your spells.
• You are the main initiator in the team and want to go in first to begin the fight.

12. Urn of Shadows:

Urn of Shadows passively gives Brewmaster +2 points in Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Armor as well as +1.4 Mana Regeneration. Urn of Shadows can be used to target your own teammates and doing so heals them, alternatively, you can target enemies to deal damage per second. This item is often made on Brewmaster when the hero is played as a support and has a 50% win rate as well. 

Urn of Shadows is great for Brew because:

• It’s a cheap item that offers a lot of healthy stats which help make you tankier as a support.
• Urn of Shadows gains charges every time you are near a kill and this helps give you a lot of charges to either damage foes or heal your allies.

• If you’re playing an aggressive game and getting multiple quick kills in the early game.
• If you’re playing against a team of heroes that have high regeneration abilities. Urn of Shadows can be upgraded to reduce the health regen of targetted enemies.

11. Aghanim’s Shard

Aghanim’s Shard is another must-make item for Brewmaster and as such also has a 57% win rate. Aghanim’s Shard upgrades Brewmaster's ultimate ability and adds another creature to his army.

• It adds another creature to the army that Brewmaster splits into when he casts his ultimate. This creature (Void brawler) also has his own abilities. The Void brawler gives Brewmaster increased status resist and also slows with each attack.

• You want to add even more firepower to your army. Later into the game with your upgraded ultimate you can cause all the more chaos in team fights.

10. Black King Bar

While Black King Bar is not a must-make item on Brewmaster it is commonly made in professional games. The item allows Brewmaster to cast all of his spells without fear of being disabled. It also has a high win rate in the 50%’s. 

Black King Bar is great for Brew because:

• It allows Brewmaster to cast all of his spells without fear of any disruption. Enemy disables can prevent Brew from casting his ultimate in team fights which can have an adverse impact on the result of the game.

9. Lotus Orb

Aside from a boost in stats Lotus Orb applies a shell on the targetted ally that reflects any targetted spell for six seconds. As Brewmaster likes to go in first he’s often the most targeted hero so having a lotus orb can improve the odds in your favor. While this item isn’t always made on Brewmaster it does boast a high 59% win rate. 

Lotus Orb is great for Brew because:

• It evens the odds in your favor against single target spell casters. Brewmaster can cast Lotus Orb on himself and run into enemies. If they cast a spell during the duration the Lotus Orb is active they will end up targetting themselves.

• You are up against a team of single-target spell casters that are disabling you or your enemy team. With a Lotus Orb, you can potentially use their spells against them and get some more breathing room to cast your own spells.

8. Vladmir’s Offering

Vladmir’s Offering is an amazing item that gives Brew and any allies in a 1200 radius additional mana regen, lifesteal and additional damage. Vlads is an item with a 57% win rate on Brewmaster and offers great utility to both Brew and the rest of the team.

Vladmir’s Offering is great for Brew because:

• Vlad’s gives Brew mana regen and lifesteal making it so that he has less need to frequently return to base. Brew has a low starting intelligence pool so this increase in mana regen comes in handy throughout the game.
• Brewmaster is also a team fight-oriented hero and these bonuses help not only the team but also the creatures that Brewmaster splits into.

• Your team has a weaker time fight potential than the opposing team. Vlad’s can tip the scales somewhat in your team’s favor.

7. Assault Cuirass

Assault Cuirass is another great item that gives off amazing aura boosts to both Brew and every other ally unit in a given radius. Aside from bonus armor and attack speed to Brew, Assault Cuirass also gives additional bonus armor and attack speed to allies and also reduces the armor of enemies that are near Brew. This is also an item that isn’t as frequently made on Brewmaster but nonetheless has a 68% win rate which is amazing.

Assault Cuirass is great for Brew because:

• Brewmaster needs to run first into the fight and having additional armor gives him greater survivability enabling him to cast his spells without dying.
• Brewmaster also doesn’t have high attack speed and this item mitigates that issue while also boosting the attack speed of allies.

6. Sange and Yasha

Sange and Yasha is a great mid-game item on Brewmaster. S&Y gives Brewmaster holistic upgrades to all of his important stats and also increases his status resistance which is very important for tanky heroes. The item has a 56% win rate on Brewmaster but should only be considered if you’re playing Brewmaster as a core hero as otherwise, this is a slightly expensive item. 

S&Y is great for Brew because:

• It increases all important attributes that Brewmaster lacks such as movement speed, and status resistance, and also builds on his strengths. 
• It allows Brewmaster to become a threatening damage dealer in the mid-game to late-game timing.

Get S&Y if:

• You’re up against a team that has a lot of disables. With the improvement to your status resistance, you’ll be able to walk off their disables.
• You want to start fighting as soon as possible. S&Y, while an expensive item, has cheap components all of which give helpful upgrades and allow you to deal damage even before the item has been finished.

5. Heaven’s Halberd

Heaven’s Halberd not only increases Brewmaster’s evasion but also allows him to disarm a targetted enemy hero. This is another less frequently made item on Brewmaster which can however be very helpful in certain situations.

Heaven’s Halberd is great for Brew because:

• It increases Brewmaster's evasion as well as other attributes making him more durable in team fights. 
• It allows you to disarm a threatening hero and reduce their damage output for a limited duration.

• You are against a team of physical carries that are doing a lot of damage. You can disarm one of the carriers and with the help of your team, tear them down.

4. Silver Edge

Silver Edge is a great albeit situational item that can be made to give Brewmaster a big boost in stats as well as the ability to briefly become invisible. Silver Edge can also be used to temporarily weaken an enemy and take away all of their passive abilities.

Silver Edge is great for Brew because:

• It increases Brewmaster’s damage and attack speed and also adds a chance of hitting enemies with a critical strike. If you strike a hero after turning invisible with Silver Edge you will also neutralize their passive abilities which will allow you and your team to dispose of them with ease. 
• It allows Brewmaster to become invisible and initiate the fight against the enemy team. You can go invisible with Silver Edge, attack the hero to remove their passive abilities, and then follow up with your other abilities to quickly kill them. 

Get Silver Edge if:

• You are having difficulty initiating on the team with your Blink Dagger. Silver Edge gives you another way to initiate on the team without being caught.
• You are against a team with heroes that have strong passive abilities or items. With Silver Edge you can nullify their advantage.

3. Pipe of Insight

Pipe of Insight boosts Brewmaster’s health regeneration and magical resistance. When activated it also blocks some incoming magic damage for both Brew and his team. This is another item with a win rate in the 60%’s. This isn’t necessarily a core item on Brewmaster and should only be made if against a team with high magic damage. 

Pipe of Insight is great for Brew because:

• It gives Brewmaster and his allies increased resistance to magic and thereby makes them more durable in fights.

2. Shiva’s Guard

Shiva’s Guard passively gives Brewmaster a huge boost in armor and intelligence. When activated Shiva’s also emits a freezing wave that does magic damage and slows enemies. Shiva’s has an amazing win rate of 65% but it must be mentioned that this isn’t a core item and is only required if the opposing team has high physical damage carries. 

Shiva’s Guard is great for Brew because:

• It greatly increases Brewmaster’s intelligence and armor. This takes away any fear Brew might have about his mana issues.
• The freezing field that Shiva’s Guard emits also slows enemy heroes and allows Brew to cast his spells with ease.

Refresher Orb, aside from the boost in statistics, refreshes all of your items and abilities when activated allowing you to use all of them again. Refresher Orb is a core item on Brewmaster and has a 67% win rate. 

Refresher Orb is great for Brew because: 

• It allows Brewmaster to cast all of his spells and cause havoc in team fights. Paired with an Aghanim’s Scepter it allows Brewmaster to cast his ultimate multiple times in a single team fight which greatly increases the potential damage Brewmaster can do in a fight. 

Get Refresher Orb if:

• You are late into the game and are having long team fights against the opposing team. With an Aghs+Refresher combo, you can continuously cast your ultimate and take the fight to your enemies.
