10. The Scholar (Adept) (Best for PvP and PvE)

It is also a fantastic PvE weapon because it works so well with void builds for ad control. If you're wondering whether it's worth the time to go flawless in trials, the answer is definitely YES.

Astral Horizon is no longer as powerful as it once was due to changes made to the perk pool of the weapons used in the Osiris trials. The Quickdraw, which was formerly this gun's best perk, was removed. It was replaced with Surplus, which primarily depends on your side abilities.

Since few shotguns are available for the kinetic slot, Astral Horizon is still a good choice.  After the updated perk pool, many players won’t consider this gun a weapon that is worth the grind of flawless and will move towards other options.

Linear Fusion Rifles are considered the default weapon loadout for any end-game PvE activity, especially Grandmaster Nightfalls and Raids.

So what makes Reed's Regret unique is that It was the first linear fusion rifle to roll with the triple tap, considered the strongest DPS perk ever. You can combine that with firing line to become your fire team's DPS god. If you are a devoted PvE player, this weapon is a must for you and should be the reason to dive into the trials of Osiris and visit the lighthouse.

This perk is just as lethal now that it can roll with The Messenger pulse rifle. Desperado received some nerfs in season 17, but it is still worthwhile to grind.

The most fantastic roll for this gun is undoubtedly Rapid Hit and Desperado, but it can also roll with Killing Wind and Kill Clip for a more aggressive playstyle. The Messenger's stat package is sufficiently strong to defeat most Kinetic Pulses, regardless of any adept perks you add.

Snipers are one of the strongest PvP weapons in Destiny 2. Although adaptive frame sniper rifles are not considered very good compared to any other archetypes, the Eye of Sol follows its own laws. 

With the correct perks combination, it is now one of the most lethal weapons for PvP activity. Adept mods have increased its lethality even further. The adept targeting mode grants this weapon ten aim assists, bringing the total number of aim assists to 78.  You may use this with targeting mods to become invincible in PvP. 

It is also a good choice for PvE, as it can easily handle champions in end-game activities, provided snipers are included in the seasonal artifacts mod.

1. Igneous Hammer (Adept) (Best for PvP)

The Igneous Hammer was first introduced in Season of the Chosen, dominating the hand cannon weapon category until the craftable Austringer made a comeback in Season of the Haunted. The Igneous Hammer's stats still outclass most of the 120 rpm hand canons the game offers, even though it is less as strong as it once was.

The adept version of this weapon is a significant improvement because it comes with mods that give you more control. Any perks combined with rampage are excellent choices. The consistency of this weapon has remained the same despite all the nerfs, although two tapping with it needs a more compact setup.

How to Get Trials Weapons

The Lighthouse (Simulation)

Players can obtain the weapons of the Osiris Trials in 2 ways.

• You can earn trials weapons from the lighthouse chest, which you can only unlock by going flawless in trials.
• You will receive trial weapons and engrams as your Saint-14 reputation rises. These engrams have two options: you can focus the engrams on a particular weapon or open them for RNG rewards. It will cost you some resources to focus on weapons like 100 legendary shards.

(Note: The adept versions of the weapons and adept mods can only be obtained by going flawless and opening the chest on the lighthouse.)
