In this review, we will discuss the best builds for generator rushing, which are the builds that would allow the survivors to finish the generators as fast as possible, allowing them to progress within the game much faster and have an increased chance of winning.

Now, let the fog reveal the top five best generator-rushing builds in this game of Dead By Daylight:

5. The Hyperfocus Genrush Build

The Hyperfocus Genrush Build is a build that has its main focus on generator progression and repair. With perks such as This is not Happening, it will allow you to have greater skill check zones which can work together with other perks that will help increase the speed of generator repair.

It is a weaker style build recommended for beginners, as it will help them hit good skill checks and therefore have a greater chance of having progression boosts for the generators.

What the Hyperfocus Genrush Build Excels In:

  • The combination of Fast Track and This is not Happening is very good, especially for beginner survivors, as it would allow them to hit great skill checks more likely, which would increase the progress of the generator, and with Fast Track, it can have the ability to grant a maximum of 27% progression bonus, which is 1/4 of the generator.
  • Hyperfocus allows for more skill checks, which the perk can greatly enhance with 'This is not Happening', where great skill checks zones are bigger, allowing you are more likely to hit the zones.

Build details & perks:

  • Hyperfocus: After hitting a Great Skill Check while repairing or healing, Hyperfocus gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 6 Tokens. For each Token, the following stackable effects are applied: Increases the Skill Check Trigger odds by +4 % per Token. Increases the Skill Check Rotation speed by +4 % per Token. Increases the Skill Check Bonus progression by 10/20/30 % of its base value per Token. Hyperfocus loses all Tokens when succeeding a Good Skill Check, failing a Skill Check, or if the action is interrupted by any means.
  • Stake Out: Every 15 seconds, you are within the Killer's Terror Radius; while not being chased, Stake Out gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens. When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks consume 1 Token and are considered Great Skill Checks, granting an additional Progression bonus of 1 %. Great Skill Checks do not consume any Tokens.
  • This is not happening: Increases the Success zone of Great Skill Checks while Repairing and Healing by 10/20/30 % when in the Injured State.
  • Fast Track: Whenever another Survivor is hooked, Fast Track gains 1/2/3 Tokens, up to a maximum of 9/18/27 Tokens. You consume all accumulated Tokens after a Great Skill Check on a Generator. Each Token grants a stackable 1 % Progression bonus and the default Progression bonus for succeeding in a Great Skill Check.

4. The Ultimatum Genrush Build

The Ultimatum Genrush Build is an improved all-in build for generator progression, allowing you to repair generators even faster than the previous build on number one, as it gives out more powerful and probable repair speeds, which can become very fast, up to 120%+ increased repair speeds.

Nonetheless, it is a build that is recommended for survivors who are playing together, as it is the only way to make this build as maximised and efficient as possible.

What the Ultimatum Genrush Build Excels In:

  • The combination of Prove Thyself and Resilience is amazing, as it will allow you to increase the repair speed enormously, a maximum of 81% if all the survivors are injured and are repairing the generator, allowing you to repair the generator in less than 10 seconds which is super fast and powerful.
  • The perk Overzealous can bring more power if 'theoretically', all the survivors activate the perk with the previous combination of resilience and prove thyself; it will be able to generate more or around 120%, which is double the amount, which is very fast.

Build details & perks:

  • Prove Thyself: Increases your Repair speed by +15 % for each other Survivor within 4 metres of your location, up to a maximum of +45 %. This effect is also applied to all other Survivors within that range. Grants 50/75/100 % bonus Bloodpoints for Cooperative actions. Prove Thyself does not stack with other instances of itself.
  • Resilience: Increases your Action speeds in Repairing, Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Opening, and Unlocking by 3/6/9 % when in the Injured State.
  • Deja Vu: Unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability. Paranoia, paired with your horror of failure, helps prepare you to repeat the same mistakes. The Auras of 3 Generators closest to each other are revealed to you for 30/45/60 seconds at the start of the Trial and each time a Generator is completed. If you are holding a Map that can track Objectives, Generators revealed by Déjà Vu are added to the Map.
  • Overzealous: After cleansing a Totem, Overzealous activates: Increases your Repair speed by 6/7/8 % if it was a Dull Totem. Increases your Repair speed by 12/14/16 % if it was a Hex Totem. Overzealous deactivates when losing a Health State by any means.

3. The Generator goes Zooooom Build

The Generator goes Zooooom Build is a build that helps with generator repairing, as with perks such as This is not Happening, it will allow you to have greater skill check zones which can work together with other perks that will help increase the speed of the generator repair.

Nonetheless, an additional perk of Overzealous is that it can increase generator repair by just cleansing totems, which overall doesn't rely on teammates, and the build is highly recommended for solo individuals within the game.

What the Generator goes Zooooom Build Excels In:

  • The Trio Totem perks make it very powerful in generator repair, allowing you to bring the maximum potential of great skill checks and repair bonus, which is very useful in short crucial times, where you will be to repair generators much faster.
  • The perk Overzealous can bring more power to repair speed, allowing you to increase repair speed by either 8% or 16% faster depending on the totem, which is nearly as fast as prove thyself, which is incredibly powerful.

Build details & perks:

  • Overzealous: After cleansing a Totem, Overzealous activates: Increases your Repair speed by 6/7/8 % if it was a Dull Totem. Increases your Repair speed by 12/14/16 % if it was a Hex Totem. Overzealous deactivates when losing a Health State by any means.

2. The Meta Gen Rush Build

The Meta Gen Rush Build is a generator repair build that uses maximised perk statistics and uses the advantage of item improvement builds that will make generators faster with the help of items.

It is a lower weaker version of "The Speedy Repair Gen Build" that is listed on the number one list, as it includes universal perks that focus mainly on solo individuals who would most likely be playing with less than two teammates, making it a great universal build.

What the Meta Gen Rush Build Excels In:

  • Built to Last enables you to recharge items multiple times throughout the game, which is very powerful, especially recharging items such as toolboxes, allowing you to progress within the game much faster.
  • The power of Streetwise will allow bringing the efficiency of items to all the survivors, and it is powerful when playing with teammates, as it will maximise the efficiency of this perk, therefore maximising the progression within the game.

Great Skill Checks do not consume any Tokens.
