Top 10 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Custom Stages

10) Pumpkin Hill (Sonic Adventure 2) By: Nova Star

The stage does a good job recreating one of my personal favorite levels in the Dreamcast era Sonic games. The stage is viable for competitive play as it is a platform with one smaller swinging platform.

9) Snowpeak (LoZ: Twilight Princess) ID: 7FSDWL3S

The setting is set beautifully as the icy tundra hangs in the background as well as Snowpeak’s mansion. The stage also incorporates the snowboarding element from the original game by having an icy platform shred its way down towards the fighters.

8) Kokiri Forest (LoZ: Ocarina of Time) ID: RSQPYSBG

Another great Zelda recreation. Different games, different environments. The stage includes the three main landmarks of the forest; The market, Link’s house, and the secret log tunnel. The stage is fun and has a great layout. 

7) Crateria (Super Metroid) By: Stoney Wagner

The stage includes the map layout of the first stage of Super Metroid, Samus’ ship even makes an appearance. The level consists of a single platform and two smaller platforms above. This stage could be viable for tournament play.

6) DK Tower ID: C98331C

The stage is an original but borrows elements from the original Donkey Kong arcade game with its red steel beams. It also adds a new hazard, a giant Donkey Kong smashing his fists. The level is fun and can be challenging. Don’t get burned.

Ever since the stage appeared in the first smash game, I wanted to fight on it with an actual player opponent. Through the creation of the users of this game, my wish has come true. The stage is a classic final destination level, making it ready for tournament play. 

4) Tetris ID: KVL5SP0X

The stage puts players inside a Tetris board as some tetrominoes float above. Players who attempt to escape are hurt by the flame tiles and sent back inside. A fun stage but can drag out matches. It’s all for casual play.

3) Smashket-Ball ID: 1CPHDTB0

Fun and hectic. The level is a mini-game of sorts. The objective is to beat your opponent until they are ready to be launched towards the cannons above. Not for curious play but offers a lot of fun with friends. 

2) Smash 64 Desk FIX ID: BY4KY68

An iconic set-piece that was introduced in the intro of the first smash game. I’m surprised the actual developers haven’t included it as an actual stage. The stage is a long platform with a few structures. Just another fun stage veterans of the series can enjoy

This level is a faithful recreation of the iconic level. The level includes cannons, the floating tree platform, and a chain chomp. Any lover of the innovative 3D platform we will enjoy this beautifully recreated stage. It isn’t viable for any competitive play but offers a lot of fun.
