25. The Courtyard

Ah! Fresh air!

When the fires are properly doused it is time to leave the main building and explore the asylum’s courtyard. Being outside does not mean Miles is in the clear. The area is completely fenced in, and there are variants running loose in the rain. It is time to dodge enemies while seeking out the key to get into the adjoining building.

Get out your night vision camera for Red Barrels' epic survival horror game, Outlast. Variant Chris Walker is relentless in his pursuit of Miles Upshur. Father Martin wants you to bear witness to the Church of the Walrider. All the unstable patients of Mount Massive Asylum have been left unattended throughout the hospital. In Outlast your only chance for survival is to remain unseen by hostile Variants.Doctor Trager's brand of professional medical treatment. Doctor Trager is one of many Variants Miles must escape in Mount Massive Asylum. A mysterious being called Walrider haunts the halls of the asylum. It can only be seen with Miles's night vision camera.Keep tight hold of the camera in Outlast. It is Miles's only advantage against the Variants. Father Martin wants Miles to witness his faith in the Church of the Walrider.Even Chris Walker is no match for the mysterious and deadly Walrider. At Mount Massive Asylum the doctors have been performing illegal human experimentation. Poor Billy here got the worst treatment of all.Miles Upshur cannot stand up to Chris Walker in a fight.
