‘MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries’ transports players to the future in the year 3015, with human colonies throughout space and technology advanced beyond the wildest imaginations of the current millennium. Violent wars for dominance and superiority have broken out between the factions of humans throughout space.

Players take on the role of bloodthirsty mercenaries who crave money and power. As mercenaries players will pilot giant Mechs that are equipped with powerful weapons and serve as the primary tool in winning any war or battle.

Mechs are customizable and upgradeable. According to developers, there are over 50 different base chassis to choose from for players’ Mechs, each with unique perks and abilities. Another critical role players will have to take on is the management of their Mercenary company, overseeing resource acquisition, recruitment, planning, and more.

‘MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries’ includes role-playing aspects, with players being required to make choices and respond to situations in whichever way they see fit. The relationships between the Mercenary Company and the various factions will be directly impacted by decisions players make, as well as the actions they take on the battlefield.

Making the right decisions and using the best Mech builds for each situation is crucial to success in the violent world of the ‘Succession Wars’ between the rival human factions.
