[Top 5] Two Point Hospital Best Diagnosis Rooms That Are Excellent

Best Diagnosis Rooms in Two Point Hospital
Doctors and nurses have unique quirks in Two Point Hospital

How to create efficient and amazing diagnosis rooms in Two Point Hospital?

Two Point Hospital is a great hospital management game where you can choose to be the best and most efficient hospital or do the opposite and become the most chaotic hospital ever. It depends on how well you can create your hospital rooms where queues are few, and patients are happy until they get their treatment.

Diagnostic rooms are one of the major rooms in Two Point Hospital, as these rooms provide patients with results on where they should go to get their treatment. An inefficient diagnosis room will take up a large number of patients and build up a long queue when things get hectic. On the other hand, a highly efficient one can bring you a lot of Hospital Value, and it can probably increase your chances to reach three stars.

Here are some amazing builds that you can use as a reference to create great diagnostic rooms for your hospital.

5. Fireproof and Staff-friendly Diagnosis Rooms (Fluid Analysis, Cardiology, X-Ray, and Radiology)

Start at 1:15

Decent and efficient diagnosis rooms such as Fluid Analysis, Cardiology, The General Diagnostics, and others can easily be staff-friendly and efficient by adding items that can sustain the staff’s needs and enough items to build up attractiveness. Of course, we need to take care of our machines as well, which means adding fire extinguishers to prevent fires from destroying our fully upgraded machines.

The Diagnosis Rooms of Smoky do not need plenty of items, but these are definitely staff-friendly and fireproof diagnosis rooms.

Why Fireproof and Staff-friendly Diagnosis Rooms are great:

  • Rooms are mostly built on their minimum room size (3x3 or 4x4, depending on the diagnosis room)
  • Has three to five fire extinguishers to put out fires quickly. Replace as necessary. A fire extinguisher is a very important item, especially in later missions where earthquakes are rampant.
  • The sweet dispenser, coffee maker, and hand sanitizer are included in the room to provide for the needs of the staff, and they do not need to take breaks as much as they usually do.
  • Adding plenty of gold star awards increases the prestige dramatically.

4. Efficient GP's Office Build

Start at: 0:58

The GP's office is one of the most important rooms in Two Point Hospital. It is where the diagnosis starts and ends, and it also acts as a checkpoint room for your patients so they will know where to go next to possibly find the right treatment for them.

The Efficient GP’s Office Build by Power Plays optimizes the room with plenty of boosts for the doctor’s diagnosis skills while having the max prestige of the GP’s office.

Why Efficient GP's Office Build is great:

  • A high prestige five GP’s office room is a great room, especially if it is paired with a high diagnosis doctor. A well-placed office desk and filing cabinets will lead to quicker queues and less idle time for patients and doctors.
  • Adding a medical cabinet to increase 1% of the diagnosis power, and can actually stack so adding several of them within a room whether it is a 3x3 or 4x3 room.
  • Decoration can be added as well to increase attractiveness. You can also add gold star awards to increase the prestige.
  • Optionally, you could add a sweet dispenser for food and a coffee maker for thirst, but it may help your staff to stay much longer in the GP’s office.

3. The Power Ward Build

Start at: 1:54

The ward is another important room that most hospitals need, and thus, you have to create a big one to accommodate several patients at once. With the Power Ward build, you can maximize the room space with a 5x4 size by putting more than four beds, two screens, and plenty of boost items to increase prestige and diagnosis power. We recommend having two nurses for this build to maximize efficiency.

Take note that we highly encourage you to create two wards - one for diagnosis, and one for treatment. In this way, people will not be queued up, and you can maximize both treatment and diagnosis wards individually.

Why The Power Ward Build is great:

  • A well-placed door and nurse station to maximize the space for beds and screens. They are usually beside each other.
  • Two screens so patients will not get queued a lot when leaving or starting with their diagnosis with the ward.
  • 6 beds can fit in the Power Ward - 2 for each corner, and 2 beds in the middle. This is complementary to the two screens and two nurses assigned in this ward for high efficiency.
  • Adding medical cabinets and wall monitors to the remaining space to boost diagnosis power.
  • Add a coffee maker and sweet dispenser for your staff's needs, so they do not need to take many breaks when on shift.
  • Place Gold Star Award to increase prestige on places where wall monitors are not placed.

2. The General Diagnosis Deluxe Build

Start at: 1:56

The General Diagnosis room is usually the second room you will build when you start your hospital. It requires a nurse, and it is one of the easiest rooms to maintain, and it can really help in defining what treatment your patient needs to be healthy.

In this General Diagnosis Deluxe Build by Pinstar, he builds a highly efficient general diagnosis room with the minimum size of 3x3. He iterated that this works best on the Speedy Recovery DLC of Two Point Hospital, where this type of room is essential most of the time.

Why The General Diagnosis Deluxe Build is great:

  • Maximize the minimum 3x3 room so it does not take up a lot of your hospital space, but you can put a lot of stuff already considering the two required items in this room are both small.
  • The optimized places to put the EZ-scan and examination table are on the corners of the room near the door so patients and staff do not idle a lot moving around the room.
  • Place at least four medical cabinets to increase the diagnosis power of the room. It helps boost the room, especially if you do not have a good nurse for diagnosis yet.
  • Alternatively, if you already unlock or have the Giant Pipette item, you can use it to boost the diagnosis power of the room while also increasing its attractiveness and prestige. This is better than medical cabinets as it increases three stats in one go.

1. Crazy Good Psych Room Build

Start at: 0:41

The Psychiatry room is kind of similar to the ward because you can get a diagnosis or treatment in this room. However, it requires a specialty doctor that knows how to do psychology. We highly recommend you create separate rooms for treatment and diagnosis to prevent people from overpopulating the queue in one psych room.

Pinstar creates a very good psych room layout where it works amazingly for both treatment and diagnosis for patients. He recommends that you hire or train psychiatrists to at least level 3 to maximize their treatment and diagnosis power with the room.

Why Crazy Good Psych Room Build is great:

  • A 3x3 room that maximizes space by putting the psychiatric couch and psychiatric armchair in the middle near the door. This will give both patient and doctor less idle time to move around.
  • Plenty of medical cabinets to improve the diagnosis power. Try to put at least 10% to maximize the boost.
  • To add prestige, you may add Gold Star awards to make it a 5-star psychiatry room. You may also add rugs to increase the attractiveness as well.
