His Mana Speed may be slow but given his position as Tank? He’ll be taking most of the hits anyway, making activating his Special Skill all the quicker. And for a 3*, his defensive stats are not bad at all, especially if he’s limit-broken and emblemed all the way. This makes him one of the best heroes to use especially during 3* Tournaments, Ice element or not!

His Blessed Solo acts like a blessing and a curse, all at the same time. It not only heals all allies for 28% health, but it also gives his enemies -34% attack and defense for 3 whole turns! And as Tank who’ll be attacked the most? It won’t be long until he’s ready to heal his team and make his foes suffer at the same time. 

Just make sure he’s limit-broken and emblemed to make him last longer, and it’s an investment in a hero that players won’t regret doing. We seriously cannot say enough good things about this old man!

• Healing Tank - he recovers 28% health for all allies as his Special Skill
• Debuffer - his skill also gives enemies both -34% attack and -34% defense for 3 turns
• Good Defensive stats - power him up even more by limit-breaking and embleming him to make him last longer on the battlefield

3. Boril Costume

Armor Up!

Hit back at enemies who hit you? Made easy by using a Tank that counterattacks!

Boril Costume’s Special Skill, Sturdy Riposte, gives all allies the ability to counterattack with 60% of the damage they received for 4 turns. This is an amazing ability to have especially when facing an enemy team without a healer-dispeller in their lineup considering the counterattacking buff can’t be taken off without them incurring damages in return! 

Boril, both with or without a costume, has awesome defensive stats to begin with, especially once limit-broken and emblemed. This makes him an ever-reliable tank to use especially if players choose to be either C2P or F2P, or are just starting out in the game - and a worthy addition to this list!

What Makes Boril Costume Great:

• Counterattack - makes all allies counterattack 60% of the damage they received for 4 turns
• Awesome defensive stats - has high defenses that make him suitable to be deployed as a Tank

2. Aegir

Protecting you with his hair parted like that

If Gunnar Costume’s all about sharing damage in the worst way, Aegir takes that ability and runs with it in the opposite direction - all while ensuring his team’s well-protected!

His Icy Resilience makes his team share damage for 3 turns, but that’s just the beginning of things. Aegir’s allies also receive +30% defense and they get to heal 100% of normal damage dealt for the same amount of turns, too! This makes them harder to take down than usual - led by its ever awesome tank. Aegir’s just doing his job extremely well, guys!

What Makes Aegir Great:

• Share damage - makes all allies share damage with each other for 3 turns
• Defensive buff - all allies are given +30% defense for 3 turns
• Healing - all allies get healed for 100% of dealt normal damage for 3 turns

1. Krampus

It’s Christmas Time in Kramp City

Taunters in the game aren’t as rare as they were before, but our hero here can still stand head and horns above everyone else!

Krampus’ Scourge of Joy gives all his allies reasons to be merry like him. He gives them meat shields in the form of minions with 7% HP at 10% attack inherited from him, as well as a whopping +50% attack for 3 turns! For himself, Krampus gets Taunt, effectively directing all enemies’ Special Skills onto his person for 3 turns, and to survive it, he gets +44% defense, as well as a further +10% increase every time he’s hit during those 3 turns. Built like a Tank, looks like a Tank - so better use him as a Tank if you’re blessed enough to summon him!

What Makes Krampus Great:

• Summons minions - gives all allies minions
• Buffer - gives all allies +50% attack for 3 turns
• Taunter - gets Taunt that prevents enemies from using their Special Skills on Krampus’ allies for 3 turns
