How To Tip A Player

Tipping nowadays is considered a toxic culture in dota 2, however it can be used to praise a player as well, by tipping you reward other players with dota plus shards and if they tip you back you gain a larger sum.

If a player outplays you or you like a play they made in the game you can Tip them by going to the stats window by pressing ` and clicking on the golden tip icon.

Players tip each other so that other players may get angry and make a mistake like mocking each other.

The Dota community can be toxic at times however it can also be wholesome and friendly.

How it works:

  • Press the ` key on the keyboard.
  • Click on the golden tip icon for the player you want to tip, they will receive a small amount of dota plus shards.
