There are many builds that can be used with Nea Karlsson’s perks, and in this review, we will discuss the top 5 best builds that are highly effective in a competitive game scenario.

Nea Karlsson’s story has a changing childhood, where she managed to change her life in the US, taking refuge in skate parks and allowing the tag of ‘Mashtyx’ to be seen across the city.

Nonetheless, the story is only part of Nea’s life, as now we will look at Nea’s perks and builds that can either turn out to be good builds or perks that can be ineffective in the game.

5. The Sneaky Power Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by SuperAaronNova

It is a quiet and sneaky build allowing you to mix the avoidance of the killer whilst having the maximum capacity of items. Nevertheless, it is a build that will make progress much more quickly and efficiently whilst having the perks like Dead hard to escape in critical moments.

It is a universal build I would recommend using where you want to mix the game of fast progression and sneakiness.

What The Sneaky Power Excels In:

  • Maximises the capacity of all the items.
  • Allows you to escape with the least effort by using Iron Will, enabling the perk dead hard, giving you a second chance to avoid getting hit by the killer.

Build details & Perks:

  • Streetwise: Decreases the Depletion rate of your items by 15/20/25%.
  • Built to Last: Going into a locker for 14/13/12 seconds while carrying a depleted item replenishes its charge by 99%. After that, the perk’s effect decreases by -33% for each further activation.
  • Dead Hard: This perk allows you to dash forward when pressing the perk ability button, avoiding damage. Causes exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
  • Iron Will: Lowers the volume of Grunts of Pain by 50/75/100%.

4. Jump and Healer Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by nO0b3

It is a build that lets you escape by jumping and quickly heal yourself whilst using the best healing perks. The perk ‘adrenaline’ will let you give a boost at the end of the game, even in a situation where you are not healed. Nonetheless, the build is well recommended in maps where there are buildings that you can jump from, where you can loop in different areas and partially heal yourself in hidden places and then continue to escape from the killer.

What The Jump and Healer Excel In:

  • Powerful healing elements, enabling you to heal yourself without a med-kit fast.
  • Exhaustion perk balanced landing, powerful when looping within great heights in the map.

Build details & Perks:

  • Adrenaline: The perk Adrenaline activates when all the generators are completed, raising one health state and a 150% speed boost for 5 seconds.
  • Self-care: Unlocks the Self-Care ability, allowing to self-heal without needing a Med-Kit, reduces Personal Healing speed by -50 %, and decreases the Depletion rate of Med-Kits while self-healing by 10/15/20%.
  • Balanced Landing: You break into a 150% sprint for 3 seconds upon landing from a great height. Additionally, it suppresses any grunts upon landing and reduces stagger duration by 75%.
  • Empathy: The auras of all the survivors in the injured or dying state within 64/96/128 meters of your location are revealed.

3. The Sneaky Decisive Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by PROBZZ

It is a build that is comparably similar to the sneaky power build, except for the one perk change, decisive strike, allowing you to escape the killer’s grasp. But, again, it is a build that will make progress much more quickly and efficiently whilst having the perks like Decisive Strike run in critical moments.

Nonetheless, I would put the sneaky decisive build above the sneaker power build just because of the perk difference between dead hard and decisive strike, where dead hard is described to be a fault perk in the game, as people told dead hard not to work all the time, and therefore by activating the survivors might still get hit, usually caused by high ping. However, with a decisive strike, it is doubtful not to start, and additionally, you get to stun the killer for 5 seconds, making the escape easier.

What The Power of Healing Excels In:

  • Maximises the capacity of all the items.
  • Allows you to escape with the least effort by using Iron Will and enabling the decisive perk strike if down by the killer, giving you a second chance, avoiding getting hooked.

Build details & Perks:

  • Streetwise: Decreases the Depletion rate of your items by 15/20/25%.
  • Iron Will: Lowers the volume of Grunts of Pain by 50/75/100%.
  • Built to Last: Going into a locker for 14/13/12 seconds while carrying a depleted item replenishes its charge by 99%. After that, the perk’s effect decreases by -33% for each further activation.
  • Decisive Strike: Whilst getting picked up by the killer, the perk enables you to escape their grasp by succeeding in the perks’ skill check and automatically stunning the killer for 5 seconds.

2. The Quiet One Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by TheJC

The Quiet One Build is a build consisting of quietness. The maximum support of perks will allow you to hide from the killer as best as possible. Iron Will, Urban Evasion and Dead Hard are three exclusive hiding tokens that will let you be as quiet as possible, the least visible and be on most alert, allowing you to have time to hide from the killer. Therefore I recommend this build for players who prefer to play safe and quietly and manage their gameplay without having to loop the killer. Nonetheless, if that time comes, you will get hit by the killer; there is also dead hard in the build, which will give you a chance to escape, making this build robust.

What The Power of Healing Excels In:

  • High alert when using Spine Chill and urban evasion is a good combination with spine chill where you can be less visible at faster speeds and be alert simultaneously.
  • The combination of Iron Will, Urban evasion and spine chill is perfect if injured, and being able to be less visible,

Build details & Perks:

  • Urban Evasion: Increases your Crouching Movement speed by 90/95/100%.
  • Spine-Chill: The perk Spine Chill increases your action speeds by 2/4/6%, but only when the killer looks at you within 36 meters.
  • Dead Hard: This perk allows you to dash forward when pressing the perk ability button, avoiding damage. Causes exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
  • Iron Will: Lowers the volume of Grunts of Pain by 50/75/100%.

1. The Motivational Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by Naymeti

The Motivational Build is a build that lets you motivate during the game. This mainly relies on the perk resilience, where you increase the action speeds in different processes in the game. Nonetheless, it also comes from the two exhaustion perks you can choose from, dead hard and balanced landing, making it more confident for the player due to its flexibility.

It is an excellent build for people who like to speed things up in the game and love experiments while being chased by the killer.

What The Hit and Run Excel In:

  • The combination between resilience and iron will is perfect, allowing you to make faster action speeds without making any noise, which would alert the killer.
  • Two exhaustion perks make it more flexible to decide which one to use depending on the circumstances.

Build details & Perks:

  • Balanced Landing: You break into a 150% sprint for 3 seconds upon landing from a great height. Additionally, it suppresses any grunts upon landing and reduces stagger duration by 75%.
  • Resilience: Increases your Action speeds in Repairing, Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Opening, and Unlocking by 3/6/9 % when in the Injured State
  • Iron Will: Lowers the volume of Grunts of Pain by 50/75/100%.
  • Dead Hard: This perk allows you to dash forward when pressing the perk ability button, avoiding damage. Causes exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
